I choose to keep my thoughts to myself with this subject on here and FB to keep the butt hurt to a minimum..... maybe that was the wrong choice of words for this thread
Only cost me $140 today and $60 of that was new filters for the reverse osmosis. Parts were covered under warranty but I had to pay labor. He dose still do installs and said he actually sells refurbished ones that will still have the warranty for half the price of a new system.
We have a rainsoft system for 12 ish years now, while it is fairly expensive it does come with a lifetime warranty on most parts. Id like to say ive never had trouble with it but I now have a guy coming out tomorrow to look at it. After it cycles at night weve been getting some salt in the water in the mornings but it goes away after we run the water a couple min. He said its prob just a Oring or two and should be cover under the warranty so I will see tomorrow. Its easy on salt(usually) and we also have the reverse osmosis system to go with it I think this is the one i have... http://www.rainsoft.com/products/water-conditioning-systems/tcseries-water-conditioner.cfm Some on the warranty... http://www.rainsoft.com/customer-service.cfm
Why do people worry about this? I drive my truck every day where thousands of people can see my plate. Why dose it matter if a few interwebs nerds see it too?
Only problem I have had with mine is the first set my wife had would randomly shut down. Called sena they sent me another one in the mail got it in like 3 days didn't even have to send the other one back until I got the replacement. Other than that I freaking love mine
Usually the answer is no, unless i know they can ride, or cash is in hand. If they want to hear it run and shift ill tell them to stand out by the road while i do a ride by.
I would be game for a couple extra days but dont change your plans based on me. Im very interested but i could not commit until feb or march, and as of right now id say im 60/40 (60 to the not side)
Tonki and Earache are no young pups either so age is no excuse, you just have to get more conditioned as you get older. Im in my mid 30s and i would have to do a little myself before such a trip.
This is what I was kind of thinking, maybe not 2 weeks but at least a week. I'd still do the 1000 mile burner on the way out but enjoy the area more while out there
that is the exact loop i did in July, SD87 or known as the neddles hiway is beautiful but full of slow rolling tourist. Same way with irom mountian road the pigtail bridges are cool. Juat a FYI you will not make any kind of time on this loop but it it beautiful.
