I'm struggling with will power. Think it's mostly due to energy levels. I'm still on meds for blood clots and some of the side effects are weight gain, fatigue and depression. I'm not gaining but not loosing either. Only 2 months left of these meds, but still need to get over the slump.

The end of the month might not work for me but don't plan around me because I'm not sure how any of my vacation is going to pan out next year yet.

This conversation has a new thread with shit in the planning....

The MT's fuel efficiency is gonna be a problem with this challenge
If I'm running fast pace, I'm on low fuel at 85 miles...
hence why the heavy girls might be a better option for this challenge. No fuel stops

I think the grom could make it with 1 fuel stop.
@JustinNck1 MT and my Z would probably need 2 stops...LOL

We can make a start/finish somewhere in SEO if you want, Justin. 1 single 200 mile lap. I bet I could do sub 4 hours on the grom, maybe even hit mid 3's once I put slicks on it.
Hell that's just one fuel run.

So are we looking/taking suggestions for a different place to stay this time?

Think it's more like (suggest, plan and book). If you want it to happen.

Update: Seems to work fine. Two of the batteries flash errors in my charger so I'm sure they are shot. You can run this with regular AAA batteries. And oh yea charger not included.

Like the title says I have a old Tomtom Rider 1. This is the very first motorcycle purpose built GPS unit. These things have their quirks and issue but it does work. I used it as a back up GPS on my connie to my phone for a few years. Comes with a mount that mounts to a tech mount type configuration, a 12volt power cord and a AC adapter. I has its charging quirks while on the mount but ive done some hillbilly rigging to help it and the touch screen is a bit miscalibrated you just have to tap a little above where you want. You can recailbrate but it's a pain. It work for the most part and it's free. Like I said would like someone to get some use out of it not just take because it's free. Don't really want to piss with shipping or dropping off so personal pick up is preferred.

I have this older GoPro Hero(non HD) that's been sitting around in my tool box for a coupe of years. Still works as far as I know. A few mounts that have been used, AV cord, 2 SD cards, a few rechargeable AAA batteries. Bought is used off another member many years ago and I used it very sparingly.
Would like to see it go to home that will appreciate and someone that will benefit from this offer who might not be able to acquire one otherwise, Really don't want someone to come take it just because its free. Would really like to see it get used. Really don't want the hassle of shipping or dropping off. So local pick up i would be preferred.
Im going to try to charge the batteries overnight and check its function.

Rode all three bikes today. Changed the oil for the first time in the Z(some good ol Rotella T6). Flushed the brakes on the Vstar. And tucked them all back in for the winter.

I think too many parents think it's their job to try to be their kids' best friend. Being friends is fine, but they'll make friends. They need parents.
I think my # 1 job as a parent is to raise capable, well adjusted, young adults. Life lessons, tough love, dealing with disappointment is all part of that.
Bingo. My oldest just moved out so I'm going through a tough one right now. And of course I'm the asshole in the situation because I'm trying to tell her how to do things so she doesn't fail. She'll figure it out I guess. Ive done what I can.

No one wants their kid to get made fun of...but you know what? Kids need to face disappointment and adversity in increasing levels before they reach adult age and have to face real problems in the real world. It creates real-life, useful coping skills.
If they don't you tend to get fragile, unsure, young adults that crumble when thing don't go their....well, you get millennials.
Yea one of the tough love lesson i try to pass on to my kids is that "you are nobody special, if you was respect and or notoriety you need to earn it on your own"
Ive been told by others that i'm going to give my kid a complex by telling them that they aren't special. I do tell them they are special to us just not to the world.

Traci Redford said she was boarding a Southwest Airlines flight home to El Paso, Texas, with her 5-year-old daughter when she overheard an airline employee mocking the little girl’s name, Abcde (pronounced ab-city). Now the airline has apologized to the mom and daughter in a public statement.
I totally don't condone any one being made fun of on any level but when parents give their kids these "unique names" do they ever stop to think that at some point in that kids life someone is going to judge them on their name or make fun of it? Especially with these kids now days and all the bullying.

I replaced my old fuel pump with one from high flow. Thanks @2talltim for the suggestion. They did not have a regulator replacement, but pretty much everything else. The old pump may have just needed the filter replaced. $70 still beats the over $300 Honda wants to replace it
No problem. My hi flow is still going strong. I think the connie has run better than ever since the change.

Moving to Columbus: Need advice

Christ my 20year mortgage is only $880 a month for 3 BR 2 bath ranch on 2 acres. Yes I'm a hour out of town but my wife drives to Riverside every day and rarely complains.
I just never understood the draw to wanting to live in the city.
