How much is a lodge room?

$428 for 3 nights without any group rates or discounts.  You can stay at the gap resort for about half that

  2. My wife works full time at a hospital for Ohio Health and it's sad that my manufacturing job offers a better health plan than they offer her. Not saying theirs is terrible but enough for us to keep us on mine and not hers. Just think that's kind of sad. Health care is their thing and they can't offer premium coverage to their own employees.

If you are getting a raise when moving jobs heck ask for un paid time off. Or say FYI I've already booked/paid for plane tickets on MM DD-DD

Most factory jobs or industrial type facilities will tell you to go pound sand. They have their policies  and will usually not deviate.  Specially if it's a union shop. but yea it never hurts to ask some times.

All about what you bring to the table and how good you are at bargaining.

Don't think he had anything to barter with. Totally different field and profession. No experience in the trade or field or even type of job. He's starting from ground zero with nothing to bring but his work ethic.

I told you folks (rd) that you'd go out of business.    you guys made it a hassle to buy stuff.  sorry to be so blunt.  hope you all the best.

What the fuck are you talking about? RD has been the greatest place ever to order things from. You shoot them a message they do the leg work give you a better price than anyone and send you a invoice to pay.

You might want to check your meds.

Two years of progress. I having been eating out more than usual, but I still make time for workouts every week.

Proud of ya brother. You aren't even the same person I met  little less than 3  years ago. New body, confidence and out look on life. Hard work always has rewards and I know you have gotten a lot of rewards out of the new you.

Yeah I'd like to move out of Columbus but I don't really want to drive an hour to/from work every day. Not sure on my permanence in the central Ohio area as well so I'm hesitant to buy.

Also, $900/mo is on the affordable end. If you want a fancy apartment downtown, prepare to shell out $1600+ a month. Rent a house in the burbs? Have fun paying $2500+/month.

That sounds just crazy to this old country boy, just to live on top of one another.

I live just south of polaris/just west of westerville and it takes me 15 minutes to drive downtown. I would say the average rent for a 2 bedroom is around 900/month if it isn't in murder town.

Christ my 20year mortgage is only $880 a month for 3 BR 2 bath ranch on 2 acres.  Yes I'm a hour out of town but my wife drives to Riverside every day and rarely complains.

I just never understood the draw to wanting to live in the city.

  9. I'm struggling with will power. Think it's mostly due to energy levels. I'm still on meds for blood clots and some of the side effects are weight gain, fatigue and depression. I'm not gaining but not loosing either. Only 2 months left of these meds, but still need to get over the slump.

The MT's fuel efficiency is gonna be a problem with this challenge

If I'm running fast pace, I'm on low fuel at 85 miles...

hence why the heavy girls might be a better option for this challenge. No fuel stops

We can make a start/finish somewhere in SEO if you want, Justin. 1 single 200 mile lap. I bet I could do sub 4 hours on the grom, maybe even hit mid 3's once I put slicks on it.

Hell that's just one fuel run. ;)

So are we looking/taking suggestions for a different place to stay this time?

Oh yes please do. I think @Casper is close to the edge. Let's push him over.

Think it's more like (suggest, plan and book).  If you want it to happen.
