  1. I've been using PJ1 Blue  label Clear for many years. I've gotten phenominal mileage out of my chains. The best was over 45k miles on the stock chain and sprockets on my TL that was a torque monster. When I changed it it was actually still in good shape I just wanted to put a gold chain on for looks. My Z has almost 20k on it and stock chain and the guy I bought it from used the PJ1 as well. Best thing about it is that it's not messy at all.

  2. Also watch what you ask for. Im sure there are plenty of ragged out i4 bikes out there for sale for less than $4k. I think i understand what you want. You want the best bang for your buck but some people will play you with that vauge WTB description knowing your willing to drop a set amount.

  3. Deals are harder to find early in the season but I picked up my 2010 Z1000 mid last season for that price. You usually have to be willing to travel to find them though. I picked it up in Flint michigan. saved me about $1000 for a 8 hour round trip drive.

$50 to do that at this place.  I thought that was real reasonable.

I know independent motorsports is having a dyno day next weekend. I wanted to attend that  but there is 3 other things going on that day that want to do too. Need to decide.

After the rebuild, and after I put all the stuff back on, I wanted to make sure the Daytona was still good to go.  Had a great time at The Dyno Shop last night, nothing blew up that wasn't supposed to.  Going to be a great season.  110.8 whp and 46 ft/lbs.

I need to do this to the Z. Need to find out if it has stock tune or has already been flashed. If its putting up anything over 130 at the wheel it has a flash I figure.  Also need to see where the AF is.

Unfortunately 520 and 206 ( which I ride frequently ) are scheduled for chip and seal in June. A buddy of mine stopped and talked with the state crew last week...His wife works for ODOT and confirmed that.

Thats what i was afriad of when i seen all the loose gravel signs. 😫

  7. Feel free to post your 2019 rides, pictures and route reports here. I'll pin this thread.

Got out today after work for a little 100 mile jog with the big girl.  Did some north east knox, western Holmes and southern Ashland county. 205 was smooth as glass a couple dirty corners. 62 was the usual heavy traffic and decent. Looks like 206 and 520 are getting resufaced very soon. The signs are up and a paver sitting near by. BUT there are lots of loose gravel signs, hope thats not a bad sign. They are currently doing prepaving patching on 520. 514 is decent on the northern end but beautifully seasoned fresh pavement on knox county. Wally Rd. is gloriously paved and beautiful in knox county, little ruff aross the county line and the northern part that they tar and chipped last year is cleaned up now and decent. 97 between butler and rt 3 is closed for a bridge i think. All the roads in and around Mohican St park are super covered in peagravel, heed much caution there. Thats about it. I took shity county roads around the closure on 97 and got back home. Heres a few pics of my wanderings.
