  1. haha The girl on the right is trying to be all slick picking her nose.
  2. haha that's great. Was that this past summer some time? I'm assuming after the 408 went in.
  3. I tried to make a good first impression haha That is a pretty sweet route you guys took. Thanks!
  4. Yeah, I'm happy with it. Want to go faster now though, hence the big block. Enough with this small block crap. Every year since I was 13!
  5. Thanks for the welcome. Thanks! Glad were on the same page. Hopefully you don't think I'm some punk teen, which I'm not haha
  6. sorry if this is considered bumping an old thread for you guys, but it's not even a month old. Why didn't you ever run Slammed R/T again?? So he didn't have a bottle in his truck and you claimed he did just to stir it up? Lame. Don't even worry about slammed anymore, unless your ws6 is an 8 second street car.
  7. Thanks for the warm Welcome! Funny you mention it, My dad did buy the bone stock R/T for me when I turned 16. So yes my dad bought my first truck. That is it though, everything else you see is funded by yours truly. Call ducktales if you want, I have had the same job since I was a freshman in high school until I left for college in September. The only thing I spent my money on was shoes and my trucks. Mostly trucks now since I sold most of my shoe collection. I didn't have a mortgage, taxes(other than what was taken out of my pay check), kids to pay for etc. Now sure, once I'm out of college and hit the real world I will have to start worrying about all that fun stuff. Thanks for the Welcome!
  8. The M-1 intake really wakes these trucks up along with an F&B trottle body, but every thing is so pricey because there is basically no aftermarket support. Nope the 408 has the stock fuel system with 30# injectors, Since SCT stepped up tunning the EFI for these trucks is easy. Might have to upgrade the pump soon and if I do that I'll probably run a full return system with a fuel cell and an A1000. By the way the 408 still has all accessories, I have A/C on blast and the two kicker 12's bumping! Checking off 12's! Thanks for the Welcome BTW Thanks for the Welcome! Thank you! Thanks for the Welcome!
  9. 12.4 @ 111 Only had it to NTR three times. Crappy 1.85 60' with used e.t. streets and on the stock transmission shifting early on me. This year I'll have 28" Hoosier slicks and traction devices, along with the 46re that is built for 600/600 is sitting in the bed waiting for me to find time to install it! I have also added minor things here and there, hoping for a low 12 second pass and an 11.9XX pass if I'm lucky. But I have to realize that it's a 4,200 pound truck not a drag car.
  10. haha I guess it's Mopar or No Truck for me. Edited. Thanks man. Thank you!
  11. Cliff notes for those that hate to read: -Names Patrick -From Zanesville -1998 Dakota R/T n/a 408 -1996 Dakota big block project -Love Mopars Hey gang my names Patrick and I have been a member here for awhile just never introduced myself. I complete forgot until today when I got an email about the NTR event. I'm 18 and currently attending UC. Anyways I'm a die hard Dakota guy. Currently have two, 98 Dakota R/T and a 96 Dakota big block project underway. The R/T fully forged 408, eddy heads, spintech long tubes etc. I don't want to bore you guys so I'll just get to pics. If you are actually interested in the truck and want to know more just ask. Here is an idle clip of the small block: http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20408%20Dakota/DSC08720-1.jpg The rims that are in the pics are 20" R/T wheels, I no longer have those and upgraded to 19x10 CCW 505A's. In that last pic I'm currently upgrading the front brakes to 14" rotors and 4 piston brembos AKA Gen III viper brakes. I started this project over spring break and only got the driver side 90% done, still have to tap the bracket I made. And No, I'm not putting them on just because they say "Viper" haha I could care less what they say as long as they stop me quickly. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20408%20Dakota/DSC09124-3.jpg http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20408%20Dakota/IMG00138-20100327-1830-1.jpg The 96 is the new project, just recently picked up a 440 block that is already .040 over. As it looks right now the combo is going to be 496"/727/8 3/4". We shall see though, hoping for a mid 10 second pass on motor when it's done and be fully streetable. Nothing really special about it right now though, after I finish the brakes on the R/T this thing is getting all my money and time. I only have two decent pics of it, oh well. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1996%20Big%20Block%20Dakota%20Project/IMG00101-20100321-1417.jpg http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/IMG00107-20100323-1351-1.jpg Peace
