I will be going from Zanesville to Cincinnati the weekend of March 5th, passing through Columbus. So if anyone wants it, I can bring it with me and meet you along 70 or 71.

Small Block Torque Flight 727 Transmission with Hughes Transmission Kit HP1289K with Red Alto Clutches, Kolene Steels, Turbo Action Cheetah Full Manual Reverse Valve Body with Trans Break 17999, Hughes 4000 rpm Stall Converter 24-40, Hughes Transmission Deep Pan HP1280, LOKAR Firewall Dip Stick TD 3727FM. This Trans has only 50 passes since freshen. Also comes with a drive shaft with the 1350 yokes on both ends as well. The shaft was built to handle 1500hp and has the 727 yoke with 1350 heavy duty U-Joint and the rear has a 1350 U-joint on it also. If it is to short or to long any good drive shaft shop can adjust it and re-balance it. From center of U-joint to center of U-joint it's 49.5". It's 3" diameter. It has the transbrake in it but does not mean you have to use it. Transbrakes are electronically controlled. Was in a Gen II Regular cab Dakota running 9's. Since the freshen though, no passes were faster than 10.5's. Selling because I'm picking up a new to me truck. $1,000 FIRM. Can ship anywhere in the lower 48. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/SANY0010.jpg http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/SANY0009.jpg http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/Parts%20for%20Sale/SANY0007.jpg

From RPM, $250 labor plus parts for repair. Not as bad as I was thinking!

Thanks, AJ. They aren't too far from Cincinnati. I sent them an email.

I am looking at a truck with a V1p0r T56 in it. The owner said there is a noise in 5th and 6th. When I call him again today, I will ask him to describe the noise and take a video, if he is able to. Anyone know a thing or two about these t56's? Like, how much am I looking at for a basic rebuild? It will never see more than 500 at the crank, it's just going to be my daily. Worst case, I'll buy a new one but I hope I can get away with a rebuild. Also, any more questions I should ask about the noise in the last two gears? Thanks!

Tom Black(Black Springs) helped me out both times I went down there. I walked out paying nothing, it might be because he knows my father though, haha. They do good work!
-
Can't agree with you more. I love the wheels but I no loger need them, as my truck doesn't see very many 'street' miles anymore.

He was down here in Cincinnati last Thursday, I was planning on going to check him out but I got off work later than I expected.

Good eye! Sure is, almost all the pictures of my truck are taken out there. I like going out that way because traffic is usually light. Recently though, it seems like it is become busier and busier with new developments and all. Thanks again for finding me tires on such short notice, Derek!

I know there isn't a bunch of Dakota guys on this site, maybe just me. I don't know. Maybe someone knows someone looking for the best aftermarket wheel available for the Dakota's. CCW 505A's, 19X10's all the way around. The tires have less than 2,000 miles on them and were $1,300. Rear is 295/35/19 BFgoodrich KDW II's. The front is 285/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport. The wheels alone are $2,700 plus the tires($1,300), you're looking at $4,000 if you were to buy new. I'm asking $2,000. I can deliver to most of Ohio and Kentucky. I will get better pictures off the truck, once I polish them. Thanks! Exactly. That's all I'm finding.
-
Have $2,000 cash to blow, anyone got anything?
-
15 to race, 10 to watch, unless you're over 55 and older free to watch.
-
Sweet! And for those who don't know, black Dakota.
-
Any one have a decent tire gauge I could use on my slicks? I need to get up to jegs to get one but right now I'm using a crappy autozone gauge that I'm sure is not very accurate.
-
I'll probably be up there running my truck, hopefully I get off work.

A vid and a two pics of my truck. Any other R/T's on here? http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20408%20Dakota/DSCF1002-1.jpg http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20408%20Dakota/DSCF0987-1.jpg

14 second pass http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGvx720TBCI 16 second pass http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ofzsA7A0nqA

He was running Nitto something out back. He did have a 4 second 60' on his 16 second pass haha
-
Haha it belongs to Raul, he lives in Zanesville, I rode over with him and his girlfriend crammed in the back seat. He was hoping for low 11's on the way over and it pulls hard on the highway. Nothing but disappoint from him on the ride home haha I told him just think you can only improve your times. He's a good kid though, he means well. He should just trade me my truck for his cobra straight up.
-
No the silver one. He even took out the passenger headlight when he was running. http://i916.photobucket.com/albums/ad9/raulreyesangel/cobra1.jpg He does want to trade it now too.
-
Speaking of the trails, did anyone see a 03 KB termi run 16's then 14's last night? haha I did and I videoed both runs but he threatened me if I upload them.
-
Is that the original 46re? has it been rebuilt? But yes adjust the bands and for a shift kit, many Dakota guys are using trans-go and love it. Haven't heard complaints from the sure cure kit either though.

http://www.wheeladapter.com/index.php A little pricey but Fred is the man. He had my spacers machined the day I ordered them and shipped the next day! I would get the hub-centric lip on them for better balancing of the wheel, plus it will keep the load off the lugs and on the hub.
