That guy is crazy. I remember him stopping and picking up a dead deer out of my parents front yard, probably for his animals. I also remember a story about him flying his plane through the Longaberger Basket building basket handles. This was a few years ago I heard that one. Not sure if it's true, but it sounds like something he would do. If you wanted to buy one of his guns that was illegal, buy a vehicle from him and check under the front seat, haha.

Haha. Hopefully someone picks these up, I know they'll sell once I put them out on the Viper forums. I just don't feel like shipping them, yet.

Thank you! More pictures. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20Dakota%20Sport/IMG00121-20111018-1015.jpg http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20Dakota%20Sport/IMG00119-20111018-1015.jpg http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20Dakota%20Sport/IMG00122-20111018-1016.jpg

It's time to sell some CCW's, they're overcrowding my apartment. First up, a pair of 18x13 Classics, 6x4.5, for a Viper. But fit the rear of my Dakota with no spacers or modifications. I'll get better pictures later. They are the pair on the right, I'm keeping the 17x13's for now. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20Dakota%20Sport/IMG00103-20111010-1734.jpg Pair on the right. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20Dakota%20Sport/IMG00105-20111010-1737.jpg $700 for the pair, firm. Just thought I'd try these here, before the V1p0r forum. So if you know anyone with a Viper. Direct them to these!

Get a Gen III Dakota (1997-2004) They are the best looking truck, best body lines, but I'm a little biased. I had a '98 R/T Club Cab. 408 stoker with the STOCK 46RE and rear and the transmission still lived. It even had a 3800 stall in it. But yeah, you take care of the stuff and it will last you. An R/T (98-03) will have a 5.9L but only comes in 2wd, they are pretty fun stock though. Handle pretty good out of the box, club cabs run mid to low 15's, regular cabs run low 15's to high 14's stock. I daily drove mine before the 408 and it was very fun to drive everyday and had enough power it wasn't boring. You can also drive them year around, if you get a decent set of snow tires. You can actually get a 318 all the way up until 2000. Currently I'm getting 20 MPG on the highway with my 318/T56 combo. My friend with a '98 318/NV3500 is getting 18 MPG on the highway. Neither of my trucks have/had rust. If you get a Dakota, look for an 03/04. Those years had rear disc brakes and the front brakes were a 2 piston caliper and 12" rotor. The 97-02 trucks had drums in the rear and single piston calipers with 11" rotors. The interior is also different between the years, that's a matter of preference though.

Would like to unload these this weekend, I'm going to be in Columbus.

+1 on the pistol grip. I have one from a '70 B-body non-console car on my T-56 in my Dakota. I drive with it daily and love it. The plastic grips feel cheap though. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20Dakota%20Sport/IMG00053-20110914-1749-1.jpg One thing you could do, carve your own grips out of wood to fit your hand. Like I said, the plastic ones that come on them feel cheap. Here is a picture of one carved out of african ebony hardwood, on a big block/TKO Dakota. The one in the picture feels really good on my hands. He carved it with a pocket knife and some light sanding. I have some wood ordered, just haven't got around to spending the day doing it. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/5732985-DSC00763.jpg

Thanks Kevin and Derek, they were able to patch it. CR price $350 cash delivered to Columbus, Zanesville, Marysville, Cincinnati, or Lexington, Ky. If you live anywhere between there, I can deliver to you. They have about 4K miles on them now. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/Parts%20for%20Sale/DSCF0296.jpg http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/Parts%20for%20Sale/DSCF0297.jpg http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/Parts%20for%20Sale/DSCF0295.jpg http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/Parts%20for%20Sale/DSCF0294.jpg

Dang, they told me, 'It's a run flat, we can't patch this.' Well, then, I'll be taking it by another place today after work to get fixed, hopefully.
-
Well would you look at that, the guy that the only time he has been sub 13s is in the sac. Haha, kidding but I'm the kid that wondered if that was your Vette in Oakley. Nice work, I hate polishing my 505A's. So, where do I drop my classics off and how much do you charge?

http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20Dakota%20Sport/IMG00175-20110810-1602.jpg Still have these, but one picked up a screw in the GE parking lot or my apartement complex. First tire shop I went to couldn't even get the tire off the rim, they said there machine couldn't do it. It's not that big, 19x10. The next shop I went to said they couldn't repair the tire due to being a run flat and driving on it. I drove it from my work parking lot, on to 75 since GE is located on a access road to 75, to the gas station to get air then home to take it off. Derek do you know if these are really not repairable? They are off as I went ahead and ordered the 295/35/19 BFG KDW II's. Anyways, one is good, the other has the hole in it. Make me an offer.
-
That's the main reason why I went ahead and got my windshield tinted. I hate sunglasses. I could of just got the top strip, but I think it looks unfinished with just the strip.
-
Why, are you going to say if I get in an accident, it's going to be my fault since I didn't see them? Or I might hit a lady crossing the street because I didn't see her, or a kid. Or any accident I get into, they could blame me due to my tint? Seriously, it's not bad at all. I was just in Columbus last night and got back to Cincinnati around mid-night. I could see fine. On every single road I was on, even with the roads with no street lighting what so ever. I would give you a ride in my truck at night so you can see for yourself.
-
Some of my friends are that way, but here's what it looks like looking out at 4 PM. I tried to get a night shot but none of them came out good. You're looking out 35% tint. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20Dakota%20Sport/IMG00151-20110803-1553.jpg You're looking at 35% tint. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20Dakota%20Sport/100_2035.jpg Agreed, wasn't sure if I'd like it before I got it but now I'm glad I did.
-
Have you ever driven a car with it? I can see fine at night, my headlight output is fine. Even on the dark back roads I can see fine, and I'm on them pretty regularly late at night.
-
I just got pulled over for no front plate last Sunday on 71 between Columbus and Cincinnati. He gave me a warning for no front plate and wrote the ticket for window tint, my sides tested at 8% and I have 35% over the entire windshield but he couldn't test that, ha. $102, will I put the front plate on and remove my tint because of the stop, no way. Edit: The Gahanna police seem to follow me, but have never pulled me over.

Someone school me on how to take pictures, please.

Thanks for the tips guys, I have been reading more and more on what you guys said. There is a program mode, I played with it a little bit, this evening I might go out to try some more. There is a lot more to this than I thought, I found a few websites that had some info too. That is sweet! Thank you! I would rep you, but I can't rep anyone. -
Alright so I waxed my truck this morning and took some shots of it around town. Problem is, I suck at taking pictures. Any tips for making these look better? This is the camera I'm using, fujifilm finepix S1800 12mp, I have no idea what setting is best to use in different situations so I just put it on 'auto'. I'm going back out tonight to try some night shots, any tips? The camera is my roommates, he got it as a gift and doesn't know much about taking pictures either. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20Dakota%20Sport/IMG00005-20110827-1752.jpg I hate how the sun reflects off the truck in most of the pictures I have, maybe I have to move and take different angles, I don't know. Well, here are some from today. Tell me what I can do to improve these shots. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20Dakota%20Sport/DSCF0138.jpg http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20Dakota%20Sport/DSCF0139.jpg http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20Dakota%20Sport/DSCF0149.jpg http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20Dakota%20Sport/DSCF0123.jpg http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20Dakota%20Sport/DSCF0103.jpg I tried the panoramic setting. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20Dakota%20Sport/DSCF0136.jpg

That interior is clean! GLWS, too bad I already got a winter beater for this year. If you don't have luck locally, or on here. You could try Dakota-Durango.

You could auto forward emails you get from that account to a new Gmail. I have everything going to my Gmail, my school email and my old hotmail account. Then make folders for them to keep 'em separated, in gmail.
