Bought these last summer from Derek. I have less than 2K miles on them. They are still mounted but once cash is in hand, I'll get them dismounted and shipped. Only reason I am selling, to get a pair of 295/35/19 BFG KDW II's. $400 picked up, or $430 shipped.

Finally done, for now. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20Dakota%20Sport/IMG00133-20110724-1916.jpg

Drove my v1p0r spec T56 swapped Dakota yesterday after I got it all done. One problem that I found out, since the Viper uses the rear mount shifter, the reverse lock-out solenoid is back there, not on the front mount. I have the forward mount so it looks like a factory install. I already have a relay wired up, found a switched 12v source and the brake pedal switch circuit to control the reverse lock out. Everything works, you can hear it work, but it doesn't really work. Due to the forward mount being used. Move the solenoid to the front you say? The sift rod and mechanism have been modified to use that shifter in the forward mount, so it probably wouldn't work with my current shift position. Any ideas of reverse lock out for my setup. Is there a plate or somehting, that would lockout reverse, that would set on top of the transmission. Kind of like gates? If not I could probably make one in Solidworks or Unigraphics and have it made. Thanks for any ideas! I can still drive it, I just won't let anyone else unit I have some kind of reverse lock out.

Probably too big, but I have a pair of 285/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. I bought them new from Derek, for about $700 for the pair. They have less than 2K miles on them. $400 for the pair, if you're interested. Or anyone for that matter. I'm just wanting to go bigger.

Martin Saine builds many transmissions for the Dakota guys. MSaine1213@AOL.com His shop number is 951-907-0434, he is a good guy to talk to. I'm just glad I no longer have the fourty six are e.

CCW doesn't stamp offsets in to wheels. Neither my Classics or 505A's have any markings. For people interested in buying, don't forget this site: http://shop.ccwheel.com/modular-wheel-parts/17-rim-shells/

This is the race version of the CCW Classics, they don't come with center caps and aren't even machined to accept them. You'll have to buy the street version, if you want center caps.

I bought a 9.25" axle with a Detroit True-trac and 4.56 gears. Only problem is it was used in a carb application, the guy left the tone ring out which is used for the speed and MPH reading. I have the tone ring and the rear, just looking for a shop to install it. Anywhere near Marysville would be perfect. Thanks!

I bought these in a rush this past summer. See this thread for details: http://www.columbusracing.com/forums/showthread.php?t=82341 They are 285/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport's. I hate that they don't match. I want to trade for 295/35/19 BF Goodrich KDW II's. My tires however have less than 2,000 miles on them, though. So I'm not interested in your bald tires. So what do you have? I might sell them out right to fund the KDW II's.

Not completely but usually if you have no RPM's, your CPS is gone. How many miles are on it? If you go through all the other trouble shooting stuff and can't figure it out, I would just replace the CPS. There is also a pick up in the distributer that could be the problem. Worst case, fried PCM, I fried two of them in less than a year. Once due to bumping the cord from my computer connected to the PCM through OBD-II port, so it lost the tune I was doing and crapped out. Second, I by passed the MSD box due to it going out, was just running an after market coil with stock ignition. Big no-no I guess, the PCM fried with-in miles. When it fried the second time, I had the same exact thing you are describing. Good luck!

But before you go through that, though. Check all the fuses in the pdc. Try swapping the asd relay with a good one, its a 20a.

I have done it on my truck, more times than I can remember. I had to pull it before I pulled the engine every time. I left it on there once and broke it, since it smashed against the transmission. I had never remove anything like that, it's on the passenger side. I have a V8 though, but the V6 should be in the same location. Just reached down behind the head and felt for it. Disconnect it, two bolts, remove them, it'll slide out right out. If I was closer I would swing by and do it. I circled where it is on my block, it should be the same location on your truck. Not for sure though, never owned a sixer. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20408%20Dakota/DSC08730-2.jpg

What kind of degree are they looking for? I'm getting a degree in ME from UC right now. I'm working for GE as a co-op currently, it's cool and all but it's not that exciting.

Could be the crank postition sensor. If that goes out, the PCM freaks out and it won't start. It will only crank. Do you have a factory tack, if you do, when it's cranking see if it's going up a little in RPM's when you're cranking it. If it's not, I'm willing to bet it's the CPS.

I know you said you're holding on to the Passat for now, but I know a guy out in Marysville that is selling his 08 Hyundai Accent. Mainly used on trips back and forth to Pittsburgh. 38K miles on it, has factory 100K mile warranty. I think he is asking $5,500 now, I can get you in contact with him if you want. http://www.dakota-durango.com/forum/showthread.php?t=133121

Aftermarket CD, Radio player, removable head unit, comes with cable to hook up iPod. 70% left on the back tires, 40% left on the front tires. Hey, I'm Patrick, 19, from Zanesville but living in Cincinnati for school(UC) and work(GE Aviation). I have never owned a motorcycle but plan to in the near future, I got my permit last year just encase I bought one, but never did. I'm looking for an SV650(S) as my first bike. I have three trucks at the moment, 1998 Dakota CC R/T 408 stroker, 1998 Dakota Sport RC 318 with a T56, 1993 Chevy 2500 V8 with a NV4500. I am going to be selling(or trade) the R/T and Chevy in order to pay for a bike and cover insurance cost with me only being 19, plus I want some mod money for my Dakota Sport! Well, it's good to be here, I look forward to searching the forums!

I have a 1993 Chevy 2500 350 5-speed. It's my daily right now but, I'd let it go for $2,500. The heat works good! Manual door locks, windows, etc. Comes with the locking tool box. Aftermarket CD, Radio player, removable head unit, comes with cable to hook up iPod. 70% left on the back tires, 40% left on the front tires. NV4500 4x2 185K miles, which is low for a 1993. New clutch, slave, fork, etc. done in December of 2010($1,000). Oil and filter changed 2/16/11! If you are interested I can post more pictures. http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1993%20Chevy%202500/DSC09839.jpg http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1993%20Chevy%202500/IMG00970-20110218-2046.jpg
