  1. If you already have a plow and spreader, I'd just hit up local company's that do snow removal and see if they need another truck out there plowing. Around here it's about $60+ an hour if you use your own truck and plow for them as they already have the contracts.
  2. As said, Alex L. He's doing some awesome work for me right now. Will be using him for future projects.
  3. Nice Mopar! Loved my 408 stroker when I had one.
  4. My truck put down 824 RWTQ on the dyno last summer. Stock head gasket, stock head bolts. It had 14XK miles when it was dyno'ed. It has 174K miles on it now and climbing quickly. I don't beat on it though. I let it warm up before romping on it and cool down before shutting it off. I even send my oil samples off to blackstone for an oil analyst.
  5. Hand calculated? You seem interested in newer stuff however, I daily drive a 5.9L CR, never had a problem with it. Love the inline six torque. Real diesels don't have glow plugs. Seriously though, drive everything you're interested in. Best is to drive one modded with what you pretty much want to do to your future truck so you can really feel how they drive and respond.
  6. I'm kinda disappointed I wasn't invited to the video shoot.
  7. Make sure you flip the tow mirrors out if you get a Cummins.
  8. I'm talking about the guys that have 4x4 1 tons and claim 23 MPG high way and 19 city. Mine is a 4x4.
  9. Can't go wrong with the 5.9L CR. Paid $19.8k for my 04.5 a year ago. But wasn't stock. Some guy on the cummins forum got 900k miles out if his stock 5.9L CR before it went. As for MPG's, I don't beleive anyone that doesn't hand calculate there MPG's. Especially on these cummins trucks. My overhead said as high as 30 MPG average. I've yet to break 19 hand calculated.
  10. Regular cab long bed?
  11. Ram 2500 Quad Cab: Literally look forward to driving it to work every morning, and home from work. Noting like the sound of a Cummins. Reliability. Can fit 8 adults in the cab. Holds all my tools plus a floor jack in the tool box. Easy to mod. Easy to work on. Pulls anything. Goes through anything. 824 foot pounds of torque to the rear wheels.
  12. I know he was in to guns. Never heard anything about drugs. http://www.whiznews.com/content/news/local/2010/04/05/thompson-pleads-guilty-to-federal-charges
  13. I knew I should of been more friendly to him when I met him.
  14. Go with the Cummins, although I might be a little biased. I have put just under 30K miles on my Cummins in 11 months and it hasn't missed a beat, all I have done is changed oils and filters.
  15. Didn't know you could make that much power with out tow mirrors.
  16. Same question ^. Trade for a Charlie's Angels pin ball machine plus cash on my end?
  17. Nice! Once you go Diesel, you can't go back.
  18. BUMP. $500 Cash DELIVERED to Columbus area! I am going from Zanesville to Marysville, passing through Columbus, to pick up a car Saturday morning. I can put this in the bed of my truck and get it to you.
  19. Good thing tint tickets aren't any points, I'm not doing so hot. :fuuuu: http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/ScreenShot2013-04-08at101530PM_zpsccb151d1.png
  20. I always put the front two down when I get pulled over, but yes, as said they ask you to roll it up so they can put the meter on it. Funny thing is I have been pulled over twice(Now three times with the tint ticket) in the Cummins with that tint, one for a speeding ticket, the other for an illegal turn. They didn't say a word about the tint, but I did have both windows down even though it was kinda chilly out side, ha.
  21. I had the exact same on my old truck, 35% on the windshield. The side window tint on that truck tested at 8% on the troopers meter. He didn't say a word about the windshield, though. :gabe: http://i832.photobucket.com/albums/zz243/Dakota740408/1998%20Dakota%20Sport/100_2041.jpg
  22. You're probably right about the windshield. At least I didn't get the entire windshield done in 35% like my old truck. Ha. I really want to keep the tint though, and pick up a D250 RCLB(with no tint) for daily driving so I can keep the miles off the Cummins and not have it seen as much by the police.
