  2. I have heard many positive reviews for them. I have a set of headers that I have going out to them hopefully end of this week. If you don't end up deciding soon I'll post up some pics and whatnot when I get them back.

Edit : I will be doing the white lightning of course.

  3. when we switched the reception sucked balls I was very unhappy moving from cable, so I called and complained another tech that came out said the 1st guy didnt have it configured right. Since then I cant tell you the last time I lost reception.

The picture quality is worth it for me - with a 58" plasma the direct tv equipment and signal provides a much better picture than time warner or wow.

we plan on keeping direct tv after the contract is up.

  4. ^ Powder room has 10 lanes, not sure how long ago they had fewer?

Havent had a problem there although black wing is a nicer facility. I go to powder room more frequently because its closer to where I live and cheaper without any membership anywhere.

  5. I had Trish's old legacy wagon (2.5L na) and my cousin has it now, he daily drives it on the stock motor and trans >310k mi. it doesnt burn a drop of oil and still runs strong.

Wife bought a new 09 impreza, kept for ~50k miles needed nothing but scheduled fluid changes. shes driving a forester now.

my current legacy sedan (98) has a 2.2L at ~180k and doesnt burn any oil, I change every 3k with dino oil. Only maintenance it ever gets is preventative/scheduled fluids timing belt etc.

my 02 wrx (76k miles) does burn just a tad of oil but not enough that I have to add between changes.

Find a seller with good service history and the car will last quite a while.

  6. We've purchased two cars from them, most recently about a month or two ago. Ive taken my 02 wrx there for service(recalls) and our other cars for whatever warranty work needed. The parts guys are great, as previously stated. I know a tech that worked there but isn't currently. Seems like you do have to do some basic oil change type stuff and move up but that probably depends on experience and demand? Once "subaru certified" you do more serious work than busy work.
  7. I voted for gas monkey because they kept the deadline and have a good attitude about the whole process - plus they rode the bike to vegas which is cool.

However - I think if they are in the competition next year they should step up and build something totally custom like the other guys.

  8. Viper 5301 is a decent pick, it meets all your requirements. I have the 1 way version of that (5101) on my car and never have problems, range is nice too. I like that the remote is slim but still has lights on the side to let you know the car is warming up.
  9. Directv has been great for us. very competitive pricing (see lower than TWarner), and great picture quality. Havent had dish personally, but friends who have it do not plan on renewing the contract
