  1. Congrats man, you'll always be welcome here though as an Ohio Rider! What program are you doing again? Didn't get as much time to chat with you this year on the dream ride, but it'd be great to keep in touch as I head into the match in just a few short years. There are some good hidden gems in Detroit as far as places to eat/drink, I usually head up there for the auto show so maybe I'll see you sometime. Good luck!
  2. I'll second the savage with accutrigger, hard to beat them for accuracy at the price point. I have a 12 LRPV and it shoots really damn well when I do my part. For your range you could get the 10FP-SR, or you could go with the 12FV. Either way you're going to want to spend more than the $100 leftover in your budget on a scope. I think there are also some savages that come in combos for around $500, but the scopes are probably shit and I don't know about the rifles. As many say, buy once cry once!
  3. I would love to go someday, have several indian friends who go back from time to time and I would definitely want to tag along so I'd have some sort of guidance. Wouldn't keep me from exploring a little on my own though. $2 for good indian food? I'm going to need a list of some recommendations, Doc!

    wrecked bike

did he lay it down at 10mph while the bike was sliding out from under him?

  7. Great idea, pay it forward! I have one too if another person wants it, I just keep shuffling it around various drawers. Free to good home
  8. +1000000, the hayabusa would almost cover the cost of a super tenere
  9. I understand being hungry in the morning, but how does having baklava help keep you guys warm?
  10. Still riding to school, I haven't had to buy my car parking pass yet and with the bike I get to park right outside the lab. Win/Win. I wear skiing gloves, and a fleece under my jacket that provides some neck coverage if I flip the collar up. Getting pretty friggin cold though now at 5:30, might have to hang up the helmet soon.
  11. Haha, but seriously if either of you ever want to go for a ride when the weather gets nice again, let me know! Others welcome too, I don't have any friends who like to bike.
  12. Nice bike! How are the trails up your way? I normally ride out to Xenia on the trail from London/West Jefferson, and I've headed south to Cincy a couple times and up to Springfield a few more, but I've never followed it into Dayton and up through Troy. That bike should be great for some good long rides.
  13. Ooooo the first one is in great shape! Anyone want to buy my '71 cl175 so that I can upgrade?
  14. Can't help but hope things are going well for you over there Ryan! -Hinzey
  15. Can't they pull you over now just to check insurance? If so, that gets the guy pulled over, then his story plus paint or a dent from his mirror on the other door make for good evidence. If I'm mistaken, then at least the OP's story sounds like a better story for "probable cause" than most of the bullshit people I know get pulled over for.
  16. $24:D, but seriously nice bike and looks damn near perfect.
  17. Agreed, but a good car. All ugly toasters
  18. Might want to look into a Scion xD. Girlfriend's averages mid 30s mpg, 40+ on hwy. Safe, reliable(toyota powered), and should be able to find a good price on a 2008 or 09.
