Holding the buy for ammo for 1 more week, did not have enough people want ammo to make it worth driving down there at 4 bucks a gallon. So if you were on the fence before, next Wednesday afternoon is the new dead line to get in on it. EDIT - Give me a call if you ordered and don't want to wait another week. Dale

The ammo is Winchester Super X 147 grain (woohoo subsonic!) and its 148.12/case of 500 rounds. Oh I also found out that since I have to pay for this stuff in advance by CC, the price will be 3% higher for anyone who gets in after this new revelation by the distributor.

I called SOG today and I guess that I have to have the ammo paid for 24 hours in advance, so the deal on ammo ends Wednesday at 10am. The only good deals to be had are on the older surplus stuff, but this is a good price.

They have Federal .45ACP and its $476.11 per case of 1000. They have .308, 9mm, 8mm Mauser, 5.54x39, and 7.62x54. The 9mm and 45ACP is brand new ammo, not surplus.

No 5.56 Adam I sure wish there was some! But it isn't AIM, its from an ammo wholesaler down south.

Ill pick up other calibers if they have them in stock. They also have 5.45x39 which is pretty reasonable.

I'm going to be driving down to one of my ammo distributors to get some 7.62x39 ammo next Thursday. I wanted 2 cases, but they wanted to charge me more to ship it than what it would cost me to drive down there, have lunch, pick it up and drive back, TWICE. So, how does this benefit ME you might be asking yourself? I don't want to drive down there for 2 cases of ammo, so if you guys want some I am going to sell it to you guys cheap if you want me to get you some too. Its brass cased Yugo in the wood crates, $221.40 per case of 1280. Now I have no idea how much they will have left come next week, so order of payment is going to be order of delivery. Im helping a customer of mine convert his to an SBR right now with a threaded barrel to put a real can on it. He loves it, gonna be alot cooler with a real can. I want to buy the 1911 they make but no one has one in stock.

One guy told me that at the fall shoot he shot 27,000 rounds out of his mini gun. The M2 Browning 50 Cal machine guns were the most impressive, those things really just annihilate everything they hit.

You know, I was wondering if that was just an issue with the exposure time or if the blades really deflect that much.

Granted my pictures are not very good, but it was the best I could do with just a crappy iPhone camera.

Sold the aimpoint last week and ordered a Yankee Hill Machine Chrome Moly Phantom. This is a super cheap entry level can, Ill give a range report soon as I get it in. This gun is still up for sale, I just found out that I have a police department who wants to work with me so some full auto stuff is going to be ordered soon and its got to go to make wallet space

I like the .30-06, its huge, its common and it will kill pretty much anything that walks the earth Not to mention, if you do want to switch calibers down the road, its a long action size bullet so getting something bigger in your action isnt a problem.

Well the .30-06 will have a little more gas to get out farther than a .308, but .308 is going to have a lot more choices as far as ammo. And how often do people ever get to shoot farther than 4 or 5 hundred yards? Either one you pick will be good.
