  1. Is this a rule for all their stuff or just gloves?
  2. Alpinestars T-GP Plus Air Jacket in red/black/white in small? ALso would be interested in a back protector that fits the jacket.
  3. Wow, Franklin must have some nice residents(other than the attempted murder), if I said that at a light I would get the bird and the window rolled up, for me occupying the lane they wanted, possibly a gun waved if I am in Cleveland.
  4. I am starting to be the same way and I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not. Car turned out in front of me on a 45 mph road and I would have ate her bumper if I don't hammer the throttle and go around her. Heart was racing for a second but within 10 seconds I was fine, pissed off, but fine. Heart rate dropped and I didn't really think much of it after it happened. Although after reading my own post, maybe you and I are not desensitized to stupid drivers, maybe we are just more prepared for them so when shit does happen it doesn't catch us off guard.
  5. :rip: This was a friends brother, he is pretty shook up about it and I wouldn't doubt it if he doesn't ride again. The guys father was there at the time it happened too. What a horrible thing to witness.
  6. I have had 3 sets from them and have nothing but good things to say about them. THIS! Projectors are the ONLY thing you should be putting these in. Hence why my Daytona has Silver stars and not HIDs. Also this! I laugh when I pull up to someone at night who cant see 5 feet in front of them with 10000k+ bulbs where my 5000ks in the Mazda shine a quarter mile down the road. 4300k is the most usable light you can get from HIDs, anything higher and you go down in visibility substantially. If you want a pure white light 4300-5000 is what you want. Slightly blue and you want 6000k. I would not go any more than that though.

  8. Cool idea for occasional use. Looks like the outside material would snag pretty easy though.
  9. You shot my 26 too. I would take the KT for $200 if you want to separate them.
  10. I am a Mac fan but I say dont do it. If it were a 27" I would be more inclined to say go for it but that computer is is nothing special and goes for around $800 used. Memory is not expensive anymore so having 12GB only adds like $50 to the used price. And on a related note, I know someone looking for a good starter bike. I will see what she thinks of this tonight.

You can do that? A 9mm magazine will fit? Does this look like Craigslist? Lol

    RFID credit cards

pretty much everything about credit cards is insecure IMO. I wiggle card reader on ATM machines to make sure there isnt a skimmer on them and pretty much anytime you hand your card to someone at the store, its possible they are memorizing your number or typing it somewhere. I have held onto customers cards when I worked at best buy for sometimes 5 minutes as they are trying to find rewards cards in their purse or abusing their kids. I think it would be awesome if NFC phones become popular like google hopes they will. Then you could link your paypal to your phone and just tap the phone on the key pad to pay. No more numbers or physical cards. Everything is out of sight and can be turned off when not in use, unlike RFID. Maybe even require your password for purchases over a certain amount. And if the phone gets lost, just remote wipe it. Sure you will still maybe have the possibility of someone stealing your phone but they are getting pretty secure now. iOS5 is pretty much impossible to crack according to NASA. http://www.technologyreview.com/news/428477/the-iphone-has-passed-a-key-security-threshold/
  13. My bad, I assumed you were another exarch lol.
  14. Nope, I am 22. Pretty sure I have just started.
  15. You have Benz and talks like this? Me wonder how.
  16. You dont want the car because of a dent but want the paint corrected? If it is not bad why not get the dent fixed then sell it? I dont know about you but a shinny paint job isnt going to bring the value back IMO, getting the dent fixed would though. It will probably cost the same to get the dent fixed as it would to fix the paint.
  17. I agree with the how awesome it handles, the drawback to this though is they have so much camber you have to rotate the tires every oil change or they wear funny. Not a big deal but if you don't know this you will eat the inside tread of the tires in no time.
  18. The only thing I had not done is full synthetic oil like they recommend. I do a synthetic blend, but everything else has been on schedule and what Mazda recommendations. If they can't find anything wrong or say its the clutch I am going to have them replace the tranny fluid with motorcraft XT-M5-QS or redline MT90 since that seems to work for other people. Would this be something the dealer would cover?
  19. That's the thing, I have always taken it to the dealer I bought it at for oil changes and service on the Mazda recommended schedule. I even took it there for a new tire and alignment even though I could have saved $100 at firestone. I have a complete history with them from day one so I would like that to be taken into consideration when dealing with them. Also, I do not "launch" the car, I have never taken off with the engine speed above 1500rpms. I do go quick from there but never pedal to the floor quick and the speed I am shifting seems completely reasonable to me considering I am putting the clutch to the floor. Just got this back
  20. So I emailed them requesting a service appointment and this is what they said. I do NOT want to pay this fee, how do I get around it? I don't think there should be a fee at all for diag since it is under warrantee. I just emailed saying I don't expect to pay the fee but we shall see what he says about that. Looking up the corporate number now in preparation for the shit storm I am about to walk into since they are already subtly hinting I can't drive stick.
  21. Edit: oh I thought you meant me lol
  22. I'm leaving the hitch, it's used for a "bike rack" and by bike I mean motorcycle, and by rack I mean trailer
  23. OH SHIT! Good call on the wire harness, my plan the whole time was to say I have a bike rack but you don't really need a wire harness for a bike rack but this started happening way before I started towing so that's not the issue. In fact, in other countries the 3 is rated to tow like 1000lbs or something around there, not sure why they said no to North America :/
  24. It's a 2011 Mazda 3 with a 2.5L and 6 speed and has 23,000 miles. I am going to give them a chance to fix it because it better be under warrantee, I'll take it for second opinions if they tell me other wise.
