I've ridden several from a sort classic of some sorts to a monster, a multitool and a 848 evo. I just don't get the whole idea of a dry clutch. If I want a dry clutch I get in my focus. I just find them to be spartan and lacking in refinement of the jap bikes. Took a nice after work ride through meadows, nothing to crazy no motogp racing, as usually the road is plagued with gravel. Made first pass and road was fairly clean. Hit just a tiny bit a of gravel on the return but because of reading "Full Control" I went right through it and didn't freak out, just a tiny bit of wheel spin and back to normal pace. I went around the 120 degree turn look left and I see this guy just chillin munching on a tree. Be careful out the bros. this bastard was huge. I actually got about 15 yards from him until he darted back towards Seneca.

how is spec from a manufacturer that has been building bikes for 50+ years too tight?

I adjsut mine to 1" as that is spec, I run it 1500-2000 miles between adjustments and generally let it g3t fairly loose, which is my previously stated intervals. Unless im planning a long highway trip I wont adjust it until its very loose. I do lube once a week tho with chain wax and clean every 2nd adjustment unless im going on a trip
