  1. Let me elaborate on not getting married, after this disclaimer.

I did get married. My wife has not made me sell a single thing or get rid of anything I like.

She doesn't even guilt trip me when I go for all day rides on Wednesdays when she works til like 2 and I'm off all day.

Prior to my current wife, I was in a 3 year relationship with this BITCH... I was mentally abused by her the entire time. I did everything for her she asked. I sold half the things I owned so I could get her what she wanted. I bought a revolver for myself and jebus oh lord, She told me to take it back to the store.

Well I know a lot of it had to be with me being young and stupid and infatuated. But really, if you had to sell something to buy an engagement ring this is obviously not the girl for you. I'd highly recommend asking for it back (legally she has to in Ohio) and return it and buy another bike.

Really, don't get married to her.

Seriously, don't get married to someone you had to sell your bike to buy an engagement ring.

    DON'T FREAKING DO IT.

Seriously, there is no sarcasm in this post.

    JUST DON'T FREAKING DO IT.

    Seriously, brah.. Don't do it.

  2. I made 18 an hour working on bmws, warranty paid the shop 55 an hour and customers paid 110 an hour. What a rip. I worked their for just over a year. The first 7 months with only 2 comebacks and a csi score of 100 for 7 consecutive months. When I asked for a raise (after they raised customer pay rate from 100 to 110) I was told to piss off. I was still under contract for 5 months, so the last 5 months I floated by doing the bare minimum and on the anniversary of 1 year from my start date I walked into my bosses office handed him a letter of resignation and left.

Never again will I work in a dealer setting or likely in the automotive field.

And it's not like I was a brake tech. I did everything from head replacements to electronics.

  3. I use to be. I have a focus that was/is set up for sts and was very competitive even with wrxs having 100hp more. I was somewhere around 150 hp at the wheels.

I have stage 2 inlet camshaft and stage 1 exhaust from cosworth. I had a full exhaust system header, no cats cosworth exhaust. (No longer have header got pulled over way to much). I have 1.5" from and 1.75 inch lowering springs on super stiff struts and shocks. I have a cai sct3 tune. Ect ect.

But now I think cages are lame after riding for the past 3 years

  4. Don't forget intake manifold, throttle bodies, ignition system, and exhaust!

However they do this, I'll be interested in watching. I think the idea is outstanding as there ought to be fewer moving parts than an I4 or V2. It should be more compact than an I4 and perhaps lighter than one and possibly lighter than a twin. And let's not forget the soundtrack!

Seeing they made the XS750/850 years ago it isn't a surprise to hear they're trying the triple again. I just hope it's not mega pricy like Honda's rumored V4, and they have an equally good chassis to back it up. I'd love to see middleweight version too, or even a lightweight triple with good stuff on it. An I3 300cc bike with good brakes and suspension would be a blast! But I dream...

Throttles bodies would be the same. ;) just less of them. And the way everything is computer controlled you can just reprogram to tell the computer it's only running on a certain number of cylinders. You got me on the intake manifolds and exhaust tho.:mad:

  5. 13 miles outside of downtown. I'm there to enjoy the events downtown as much as the race.

    It's like a 15 minute ride downtown....

And after last year, and the Indianapolis Parking Nazi giving out tickets to bikes Friday and Saturday night... (after changing free parking from 6pm to 9pm) F that,

anyway I'm not going next year, much more looking forward to F1 in Jersey

  7. Just a feeler for a labor day ride, weather permitting it is suppose to be nice but a small chance for thunderstorms.

Was thinking meting up midmorning around 10 or so taking a "easy paced" ride through the valley.

We could all meet at my dads store in Richfield ride east, then north for a couple hours grab some grub (depending on family plans later that day) at qsl or the lizard in valley view. Then ride another hour or so and split off around 1:30 or 2 so we can all still make it to family functions.

If this were to gain momentum I'll update the thread with more details and a general route.
