  1. Just jump on an FJR or CONCOURSE for instant tourability
  2. I'd say both would accommodate sport saddle bags as long as neither have high mount exhaust - up to you and your tastes as to which bike is more appealing - either one "could" make a DECENT sport tourer but the RC has better suspension - I've seen about every type of sportbike converted (at some extent) to touring, but like Papa said the VFR is a better platform to start touring on with the least amount of time/$$ invested......its ready to roll as is, where the others demand some form of re-ergo'ing to get tank after tank comfort
  3. Awww, how can you punish a face like that?
  4. Hey, the lady likes pigs.......get some pigs on that hog she's riding
  5. Oh, sweet! An OR tribute bike - you sir, would be a living legend here!!
  6. I wish my wife could ride like I wish she could.........then I'd put her on my bike to run it out..........her tiny little 5 ft. ass would FLY!!
  7. My tires are fairly new, and look good.....no signs of cupping that I can tell - I plan to tear it down this winter for some goodie installs so I'm going over everything and see if I can figure it out
  8. Dont know about 190-200, but I'd love to find out! Do either of you notice wicked buffeting and some shuttering around 150? Then just past that everything smooths out up to say 170-180? Could be bad aero just from my size, or possibly a tire out of balance; but I can hardly read the gauges around 150 from the fairings shaking, so thats where I usually come off the throttle.....except a few times I stayed in it......but I can imagine it feels like forever between 180-200 because my brain was functioning at speeds well beyond what I was moving.......time slows down when your flying low
  9. You still have the suit? Sorry my buddy didnt come through on buying it - he's about broke now, he recently bought a house and sold off a dirtbike and a trailer to make it happen -- somebody needs to pick this up, one hell of a deal!! If it fit me, I'd have it - Is it listed in the classifieds?
  10. ^^ Me too man, the environment itself makes it worth the trip
  11. Nothing magical about it.......you're exactly right Tim, these kits are to enable the BIKE to reach 200 within a standing mile -- if they were rider specific, my kit would include a 50 shot It's like ANY form of motorcycle racing, dependant upon the rider moreso than the machine - So, even if I could ride like Ricky Gadson it's unlikely my massiveness will be hitting 200 without some major modification to my bike........I am hopeful, but also realistic - so it's all in the name of fun that I'll do this as I have zero plans to mod my daily ride to that extent
  12. I, for one, don't expect miracles out of my ET's since I've got at least 100 pounds on the average rider -- but it's going to be huge fun trying to hit that 200 mark.......especially with SWB and major weight DISadvantage - but who cares? Line it up and twist it wide open for a mile.......who wouldn't smile while doing that?!?!
  13. Good timing on the bearing replacement - karma's working for you there! I've never had ANY intention on setting mine up for the drag strip, but for LSR.......I'll make some adjustments
  14. Oh yeah, forgot about the 0w oil........your 14 still stretched a bit Tim? Definitely be an advantage on the start! I have some trinkets to buy yet but not far from as of now
  15. I think that EVERYONE should run whatever they have, flatout, for a mile......we ALL owe it to ourselves I'm there man!! Definitely gotta take a shot at it.....
  16. I saw the same kit up for sale on his site couple years ago.......believe this is all it included - *clutch spacer kit ( maybe with springs? ) *fork strap kit *rear lowering links *Brock's full system ( StreetMeg, Alien, ShortMeg ) and drag map *ceramic bearing set *maybe sprocket options too?
  17. Major excitement about ECTA coming to Ohio!! I plan to run next year as well and HOPEFULLY get to join the 200 club
  18. Surely its good use of the space at the very least......maybe someday they'll build some proper tracks and a new dragstrip - Pence is looong gone, KilKare isnt bad but another local venue would be nice. Anywhoo, back to this dream machine......ZX15? Probably a handful of design engineers got drunk at the local BW3's and there was a leak - doubtful it will happen, but we'll see.....never know. Since '06 Kaw's had the flagship hypersport ( in cc's, that is ) and really the only ( japenese ) contender with Zuki's biggin'......BUT, I think this battle will eventually inspire a war for more - so Kaw should start design on the ZX20 now!!
  19. Nice.....I'm lookin into this.....beats the balls off of driving to another state and failing miserably......now I can do it close to home!
  20. She must have dropped her Iphone somewhere within the vast cavern of that huge passenger floorboard and was reaching for it when her flip-flop fortified foot slid from the brake pedal causing the rider's absolute shit day to begin forthwith.....and all the while, she's scoring multiple points for hitting a moving target! 2 lucky folk right there.
  21. Cool vids, quite a different sound from the footage on the side of the bike vs on the tank - can really hear the trans spin up in lower gears instead of the exhaust notes behind the windscreen - good share! Makes me froth for tracktime!!
  22. If LSR is coming to Ohio, I'll try a couple runs at the 200mph club......supposedly I just need to drop the rear links, strap my forks, crank up the PC to "OMG!", and be johnny-on-the-spot through the gears - BAM!! Where's my shirt and certificate bitches?! Yeah.....right.....take a 30 shot to get my frumpy ass to a 200mph standing mile!! Where at in Wilmington?
  23. Is that mini electric? Weird, never seen a DC version - just the tiny 2smokes
