  1. Me too! Damn impressive save but I'd have probably pulled in the pits and sat out the rest of the race
  2. Soooo.......does he now go by "stubby" Lorenzo or "lefty" Lorenzo??
  3. Mine should be coming in UPS either today or tomorrow if you're still in need of one -- let me know and we can fix her up this week!!
  4. If it's dark out, my bike's highbeams are ALWAYS lit -- better visibility for me and any other blind anus that's unaware of my existence Why can't you run highbeams all the time? I do it intentionally, if someone coming the other way flashes theirs at me - I usually just wave to thank them for seeing me Maybe look into some projector driving lamps that you could position in a way that illuminates a wider path?? idk, just trying to help
  5. I'm with gen3, "should" be worth more than $20 - but ya just never know on CL
  6. Titles lost for sure now, at least he still has his middle finger to flip off the competition!
  7. Sorry, dont know what salvage yards would be local to you there
  8. I took 1 damaged aluminum truck wheel 17x8 and a couple scrap 2 stroke engine cases into our local scrap yard earlier this year - total cash value was like $36 so I'd assume you would probably be in that ballpark
  9. Eventually getting my wheels and controls done there too - put up some close up pix of the work Nick!
  10. Guess I'm one of the few that almost always wears a backpack - all my essentials as well as extra water in case of thirst or cooling system issues

    Test rides

If I were you, I'd ride it elsewhere to meet him WITH AT LEAST one other person - just never know with all the scammers now days - its all about protecting yourself and your property - cash in hand prior to any test riding is a good idea too - glws!
  12. I'd have asked him why.......but I'm inquisitive like that

    Why the?

Ingenuity at work! But ya gotta work fast to scrap pieces of a local bridge, scrapyard gets wind of it and you'll be cuffed-n-stuffed before you can get out of there!!
  14. If your bike doesnt have cruise control, maybe look into Throttlemeister - they're a weighted end with cruise lock on the throttle side - tons of good reviews, sharp look, and machined out of billet stainless. http://throttlemeister.com/
  15. I got a new set of them less than a year ago and my front is doing "ok" but the rear still looks good considering their treatment under my ZX14 - my work commute is about 75 miles round trip and I typically run the pipelines to work, but sometimes backroad home just for a change of pace and to help wear the sides of the tires too - its mostly dependant on your riding style and the severity of any punishment you give them......but they are a good tire imho.......I've put about 3500 miles on mine this year with more than half their life left, so they are lasting far better than the BT's and Qualifiers I've had
  16. Wonder if I'm too old for him to adopt me?

    ISO view

That looks very LIGHTWEIGHT, for your Zuki or another project? Aluminum?
  18. Your lucky to be close to good riding areas, there's little to be had over here without trucking the bikes over an hour......Puschetta Creek near Wapakoneta is a decent little moto track but I like trail/enduro more than lap after lap in the dirt......I dont fly over big doubles and triples, and the whoops kill my wrists and shoulders at my age Always heard Haspen Acres in Laurel Indiana was monstrous fun for dirtbikes, but also heard there's a lot of drunks in buggies and trucks that make it dangerous for anyone on a bike so I've never been
  19. He'd be doing 10mph, but the rear tire would be pinned in 4th :D
  20. I havent been to Richland since '09, and had been raining for almost a week down there so it was pretty bad that morning.....heavy downpour had water gushing down some of the hills and it trenched the trails out pretty good in spots - didnt help much that my front tire was intermediate/hard compound for meaner surfaces as well as being half worn out
