Thanks for organizing a great ride on some awesome roads! I had a blast on the ride, learned a lot about the capabilities of myself and my new (to me) bike. I would love to do another in the future. Sorry I just kind of took off without any farewell, but I was on a bit of a time crunch. Also, seeing Brian out there was awesome. I have been telling all kinds of people about how awesome it was seeing him out there on his custom setup. Definitely a good group of people we rode with. Thanks again to all!

I probably won't be riding any more aggressively than I normally do.. I definitely don't baby it. Usually I get the fuel light around 100-115, but I think I've had it come on at 85 once.. Guess I just get paranoid since I used to squeeze about 200 out of my yzf600

If everybody is gonna be riding aggressively, I honestly might not make it over the 100 miles on one tank haha damn r6 doesnt get the best gas mileage

Ive noticed the same thing. A lot of the people who buy them do so because theyre the "fastest bikes made" knowing nothing about performance or the pros and cons of that bike vs a traditional supersport bike. Although there are good reasons to buy one of these bikes, most of the fatties we see riding them are probably pretty clueless

You have a pretty keen eye.. This is one of several screws missing from my bike when I bought it.. not sure why.. I'm pissed though because I just ordered 4 other replacement screws for this and missed that one when I made the order.. I'll need to place another order I guess.. Also, its been down, so there are some hidden bumps and bruises but I'm planning to replace all of those parts at some point. Thanks for the compliments everyone! It actually seems like its a lot easier to ride than my YZF600R, except for that my wrists hurt more

Well, someone offered me almost what I paid for my 06 YZF600R with bald tires, so I couldn't say no! Bike was in perfect condition, but wanted something a little sportier anyways.. New bike is an 08 R6s, same style as 03-05 R6, only 3600 miles. Been laid down, but I'm gonna slowly replace everything.. Already been to Iron Pony to get some missing fairing screws, etc. But new exhaust is gonna be the first project! PICS!

I have gone to CC for the past 5 years, and I'm finally gonna miss it this year.. Pretty salty about it, but I'm going to a NASCAR race that Saturday so that might replace some of the good ol' redneck fun I'll miss out on.
