Me and a friend of mine will be riding this route but we have no idea when we will get started and he only has about 200 miles under his belt so were gonna be rising at a slow pace. Maybe we'll run into you guys somewhere in the area but we we probably won't ride with the group for long

I don't know if that is necessarily true... What is the maximum voltage of the headphone output on that droid tablet? I thought I read somewhere that iPhones could continuously produce 2+ volts without clipping? This is enough to plug into an amp directly and match the gains without having terrible sound quality. Most cheaper head units only come with 2-3 volt preouts anyways, so you wouldn't be too far behind a regular head unit's amp preouts. Its been a long time since I've messed with car audio though so I might be missing something

I have been kind of back and forth on this idea .. I was under the impression that the autotune creates a new map for your PC based on the a/f ratios. Granted, this may not yield the highest HP #s, but at least it would be running well, correct? If I would need a custom map AND an auto tune ($$$$$$), then I would opt for a custom map first. Right now the LOR map that Im running is better than it was before, but I think by summertime I will want it running as well as possible. Oh and speaking of which, YGPM Hoblick

I was out around noon or so.. I had most of my cold weather gear on, but it wasn't too bad since the sun was out.

Despite Dyno Jet's recommendation of a PC III, a power commander V WILL work with your bike.. (it works on my08 R6S) . I saw a thread on the R6-Forum from a while back asking this question, and it seems like nobody ever took the plunge and tried it. So, I figured it would be worth the risk and tried it out. I have a Danmoto slip on (which essentially makes my exhaust system a full system as most will know about the cat being inside of the exhaust can on these bikes), which sounds good (loud and throaty, screams up top, but a bit raspy and unrefined) and has a good fit and finish, considering its low cost ($130 shipped) . Everyone suggests the LOR map, since they're similar in design, so that's what I loaded. The clicking of the PCV kind of threw me off at first, but it started right up, died, and I restarted it, eventually having to nudge the idle up just a bit. I gave it a little gas and it was very smooth from 1-5k. I let it warm up some more then gave it more, and it was still smooth all the way up to 8k or so, then got a little lean sounding and popped at me. When I got it past 10k, it seemed to lose the smooth response it has from 1-7k. Looks like I will probably either need to get a custom map or buy an auto tune. It being 35 degrees probably doesn't help. Oh well, better than it was! << Update: Rode for about 40 min today and there is a huge difference in throttle response and performance. Much better, but still could use a tune. Here are some pics of the bike and a couple of the install

Heard pretty good things about auctmarts as far as fit and finish for the price. Nothing will be like OEM but nobody wants to pay $$$$$$$$$$ for them

When you finance part of your bike, it doesnt leave you many options.

I went from an 06 YZF600R to an 08 R6S and my rate went down $10 per month with allstate.. I switched providers and saved another $20 permonth, but I think part of that was due to my move away from the inner city. And to everyone complaining.. I was quoted 1300/month from both geico and progressive for full coverage on my YZF600R. thats $1,300.00, as in over 15 THOUSAND per year. Idiots. I still pay almost 1000 per year for full coverage, but im young, only a couple years experience, and I have one ticket

I got a notice about them receiving my subscription and payment (obviously never sent, but credited), and offering me a special offer to extend it. Hopefully that means that my subscription is valid and I will receive my mags soon??

No mag here.. but I moved so I blamed it on that at first
