My current barrel is a 16" 1:9 chrome lined so I think I want this one to be longer, with more twist and not chrome lined. 1:7 seems about right

I could do anything 16-20.. I actually prefer a shorter barrel on an AR but I am hoping to make this more of a hunting/target gun since I already have a civilian carbine. If the extra 4 inches is going to be worth the bulk, I have no problem going 20. I also don't want a 15+ lb gun since I'll be chasing pigs from time to time. Thanks for the suggestions so far!

Do you guys own any of these companys' products? It would be helpful to know if you have had positive experiences in the past, especially with build quality. Thanks!

Hey guys, I have had a complete AR lower half sitting around forever and it's finally time to start looking for its better half. I need a complete upper assembly that fits the following: 18ish " barrel .223 (or 5.56) Fairly accurate 1:8 or 1:7 twist No bull barrel (hate the awkward front-loaded weight) Doesn't have to be in stock ATM, I can wait a few months Under 700 dolla Readdddyyyyy.... Go!

More related to the investment and whether or not it all ends up being worth it.. I'll probably have to wait until you finish the car before that is known haha Either way, I'd love to check it out when its finished.

I'm gonna respectfully disagree. I think we will see it in production in less than 5 years. The rumors have been going for a while, but Toyota is happy to be back in the sports car world and the FR-S's success solidified their decision to get back into it. The supra was already planned, but Toyota was just being cautious.

If you have any of the above, why are you online? Go out and play! It's wild out there! Avoid the highways obviously cause they are down to one lane going 25 mph but everything else would be a blast.. I have fwd and have to work early or else I would have stayed out

Nope, and Ferrari's display was worthless too. Actually, I was surprised by the SLS AMG out of all the current production supercars on display.. The brakes on the M6 are crazy huge, and the LF-A is always kinda cool to see.. Of the new cars, the atlas and corvette stand out. Other things I remember: Chrysler spent some $ on their display, Shelby decided not to spend any $ this year, and the Asian companies never really do anything impressive (except the NSX, FR-S, BRZ recently). The German companies spent a little more this year, and there are still not enough beer carts

If you ordered any PMags from rock river over the past few weeks and got a confirmation but never got your mags, it's because they automatically back ordered all orders for which they did not have stock (the site did not show backorder status when ordering). Sadly, they didnt have enough customer service sense to notify people of this. Hope this isn't a repost just wanted to share. I got on a backorder list at another site, hopefully they don't auto cancel my order too but I don't have high expectations in this market
