  1. Those XDs are bad ass, my buddy has one that he keeps getting more stuff for, they are very customizable.

I am sure he will customize his. It is a nice gun and we got an awsome deal, OE had them onsale for 569. They did tell me all the gun manufactures were going to hike up there prices next year.

  2. I'm not entirely sure what you posted could possibly have to do with the DeWalt stuff, but okay.

On a side note, I probably wouldn't buy anything 18V NiCad. They're supposedly be discontinued right after Christmas. They'll be stupid cheap then. DeWalt is supposedly going with Li batteries from now on.

We use 18v nicad and Li at work. The nicad last a little longer. Also for the best deal go to grainger if you go to the store or call they will/can gine upto 15% off with out management approval. Also msc usually like today has 25% off sales.

  3. My hubby aka hellmutt was off Thursday he wanted to surprise me by eliminating my fender. I was off at lunch, so he got up at 630 (usually it would of been 10) and started on it (our garage is not heated). I called when I left work and he informed me he was on his way to the ER. He managed to cut his finger to the bone (missed all the tendons) total 10 stitches 6 out 4 in.

The fact we have been together over 10yrs and he was trying to surprise me means more to me than anything he could of ever bought...he is the greatest! So today I bought him the Springfield XDM .40 (cleaned it for him too).:D

  4. I haven't locked the door to my house since we moved in.

In fact, outside the 6 months I had to live in an apartment, I haven't had a house key since '01.

I miss the days when you didn't have to worry about locking everything all the time.

  5. The MSF course is a good start, but no way in hell they teach you everything.

They teach you the basics of operating a motorcycle.

KTM-Brian has probably forgotten more about riding than most of those structors know, and even Brian will tell you he doesn't know everything!

I'm a pretty solid "advanced" rider and starting to suck less at racing, and every time I go out on the track I encounter someone who makes me feel like a total newb!

This may all be true. However the course teaches you everything you need to know on how to operate a motorcycle safely for day to day riding (not racing). But they can not give you or teach experience. It is a basic class and they do tell you to start slow, they do suggest taking more classes as your skill increases hope this clears up what I meant and next time I will be sure to make it clear so I don't give anyone incorrect or misleading information.

  6. I took the riding course they teach you everything. You will be fine. Everyone here is very supportive and they are always looking out for your safety. Some will agree with you others won't we all have our opinons its just advise. Nobody here wants you to give up just be safe and have fun, that's why all of us bought bikes. Enjoy your bike it looks really nice!
