I love the 300 series of bikes. I think the Yamaha has a lot of great features and they did a really good job on design.

All you folks that rode all day in the rain yesterday make sure you spray your chains down.Especially those of you that only use WD40 because your shit will be rusty in short order.

washed the bike today, I will be cleaning and lubing tomorrow night...

We washed them with eagle one truck was, then dried with was as you dry. Bikes look great, ready for the next ride.

The thing I liked about this route, was getting home at about 6:30pm as opposed to 9:00pm.

We usually get home about 9. We got home earlier due to not hanging out afterwards or stopping for dinner. had we of stopped for both it would of been close to the same time for us, it was about 70 miles more for us.

The new route is simpler, maybe I just need to learn it?

I had the same issue with my scorpion, I also will be buying rain gear.

OH-78 was fine. You just need less Brocks, and more Ohlins.

I have reservations about riding with people I don't know, too. I decided to co-sweep today, glad I did.

I prefer the Logan route...

we just started memorizing the route, days like to day proved this is best. With the rain unpredictable turns can be hazardous. The ride is less stressful on leads and sweeps that know the route.

We can learn a new route and some of the new roads kick ass. Maybe we do spring new route and fall Logan?

Well now, since I'm in Oklahoma, dodging tornados and storms, I could not

make the ride.  Sometime next month I would like to offer a make up ride for

those like me who could not attend, and for those who would like to do it again.

 

I'll post something up after I get back to Ohio and scope out my calendar.  Of

course all will be welcome as well as whoever you can bring with you.
