Nevermind, she isn't going for it. Guess she rather dump a brand new bike. Oh well, her $$$

Let me talk to the woman. Might jump on this real quick to get her on the street.

Not bad day photos with some quick motion. They have got better. This cam is a few years old. I like that Moultrie cams have a 12v port. So a car/lawn mower/bike battery will run it forever. Or get the solar charger I have and it will last for life.
And not bad night photos.
-
But if your wanting trail cams, there is a whole world of them out there. I have one running in my yard on a solar charger taking pics of my driveway.

Hope it happens. Will make my Cross Country bike trip easier!Just talked to the AG, they are going to try and get Wisconsin to change their mind.....he is pretty sure Texas is going to let us slide and we will be ok.

My sheriff is also my local gun shop owner, FFL, and CCW instructor, so he stays up on stuff. I'll try to pick his brain soon.Keep us posted, the law says only 90 day before it expires. BUT we don't know what the rule is from TX or WI for sure yet...so don't panic. I have pinged the Ohio AG for clarification on the issue. TX and WI will post a full copy of the agreement at some point.....then we will know for sure.

Where the pics go?

I actually gave it away. My brother the one getting it welded. I don't have time to dick with it right now. Told him to fix it and ride it.Was hoping you'd sell it instead of fixing it. Easy fix ftw.
-
Yep, to say that you don't wanna look at a potential safety issue says alot about the company.I find his position reasonable. If they had looked at the frame, at least... They didn't even try to see if they could help. They told him to get fucked. So, it's only polite to return the favor.

I know every brand has problems and things that go wrong. It's the way they treated the situation. To directly tell me that they don't even want to see the bike speaks loads on thier care for the customer. Kinda like them letting all those GSXRs ride around for 7 yrs with shitty machined front brake master cylinders. No more Suzuki's ever again huh, well that is a pretty obtuse statement to make. Numerous issues have been had from every manufacturer across practically any model, hell the Goldwings were known for frame cracks but yet the SV;s are not. Its a damn motorcycle, shit happens and we just try to get it fixed or move on....seems you have moved on. Best of luck with your new scoot, the FZ-09 is a sweet machine.
Edit: and when I say, "Never own one again." I mean as in won't be buying a new bike and giving Suzuki my cash. I'd love a TLS for a track machine.
-
It really saddens me. I had every intention to buy an SM400. But then had to by the FZ-09 cuz of the crack. I don't regret that purchase, but I could have been rocking two Zukis. Now I will never own one again. And I frigging love the SV/TL and SM.What a bunch of derps.
Edit: sorry the shitty spelling. I'm a few beers deep.

I lost it after they responded. Lol
-
That's what I'm thinking. Just sad the Quality didn't catch it and Suzuki blew it off. Until now.... they finally responded on Twitter after I posted all the pictures.Sound like it wasn't set right in the welding jig?
-
If it was the steering head, I would blame myself and the fork seals were blown, I'd blame myself. If it was the rear subframe, I'd blame my luggage. When it the middle off the frame, just above the swing arm mount, where it welds to the trellis of the frame, and you can see the pits on the bottom, it's a Suzuki problem.
-
Another update. Brother text me from the race shop welding up the SV. They said under the pits in the bottom of the weld there were big air bubbles and that the weld was off center of the 2 pieces of frame. Pathatic Suzuki.

Who drug all the FZ hooligans over here?
-
How did you find the place where OHIO RIDERS discuss thing on the NET? Lol

I really hope no one else has it happen. You can clearly see the pitting in the welds of mine where the crack originated from.
