I use the power washer on occasion when I am traveling and it is all messed up. Just stand far away from the bike, no big deal. Been doing that for years.

Same here. A bike is extremely well sealed. Think about being in rain at speed. The bike is getting blasted! Is that gonna ruin it? No. Don't be stupid and directly spray the chain, axles, swing arm piviot, ignition and thumb switches, etc...

This is one sweet looking ride for sure.

If I'm going 6 to 3, I'm rev matching that hard of a downshift so there shouldn't be too much decel to trigger this.

Same here, but IIRC, it lights at downshifts, so it's gonna flash at least. And for no reason.

It would be quite confusing to see brake lights blinking on and off every time someone downshifts.

What happens when ya click from 6th to 3rd to pass that semi going 45 in a 55? That would be amnoying!

I believe the $50 tickets are for general admission. Gives ya access to the viewing mounds and walking around, but not to any actual seats. Get there early and you should be able to scoop up good views.

How was the Fz suited to that much distance?

Since I put an Ohlins on the rear, It handles it fine. Over 80-85 MPH, you get some major pull from the wind blast, but other than that, its great. A bigger windscreen would keep the wind down.

So the woman and I had 2 weeks off and loaded up my FZ for a little tour of the country. Headed to NM to meet some friends in the Air Force that just had their first baby. Passed thru STL.

Hit some of old 66 on the way. Oklahoma was scorching. The FZ read 100+° a few times.Met the new baby. The Fiancée got an eye infection on the way out, so our friends forced us to drive their extra car.

On our way to Colorado, we found some cool, abandoned thingsPassed Pikes Peak, but couldn't go up because of the races. Ok guys, I'm planning on going to Indy, but I maybe staying at a friend's house for a few nights. I was also planning on getting a 3 day reserved ticket, a 3 day paddock pass, and I'll be parking in the museum lot.

I believe we are in the museum lot also and have Paddock passes.

So is this a thread de-rail or has the conversation finally just left the station?

Bought the future wife a CB300F this spring. I have to say, it's impressive. It will haul me and her to highway speeds without a problem and the suspension handled it without complaint.

I had a discussion with my local sheriff on the after March date. I'm gonna set up a date to go discuss it more. We might have a way around that for anyone traveling to Texas or Wisconsin. I'll let ya know when I find out.
