Do you normally work the weekend before Memorial Day Weekend? That could be the common denominator
I'm a swinger. I work every other weekend.
-
Why must this always fall on a work weekend?
-
I'm due January 2017. Not worried about renewal. My sheriff is my local FFL, does the local CHP classes, and my Fiancée got her CHP the next day last summer. And she was an out of state case.
-
Riding up 424 to Grand Rapids for pizza is one of my regular rides.
-
Oh and my 1st update, before all else would be full hard doors. Make it so much nicer in the winter.
-
You can stuff 31s with minor LCA rubbing at full lock with no lift.
-
I'm west of Toledo. Use to spend way to much time in BG.

America is too stupid to vote for him, though. ...and the wheels on the bus go 'round and 'round...
America is too stupid to ditch the 2 party system. It's better to vote for "the lesser of two evils" than to vote for who you think is best person for the job. America is also too stupid to quit the electoral college....

Hmm... let's see, one post and it's for a contest and he wants "feedback"
-
You'll prolly spend more time killing the little bastards.

I got a new lid and Hero4 Session. Fiancée got a solo cowl, Scorpion exhaust, and race stands.

But if I know a gun is definitely going to someone other than me, they should be the one to go through the process not me. One of the big talking points for gun rights is the idea of the "responsible law abiding gun owner" and if we're more or less exploiting one of the same so called "loopholes" that criminals do to get guns on the street
You state that buying a gift is using the "loophole" and it is not. Plain and simple. Knowing who your giving to is being a response gun owner.
-
As long as you know who you are giving the gift to, the loophole point is moot. I know my Fiancée isn't gonna sell a gun, and she isn't gonna use it in nefarious way. She even has her Ohio CHP. Be a responsible gun owner and know who you're giving the gift. Don't act like it's some terrible thing to do. One of the best things you can do for your wife/Fiancée/girlfriend is get them into shooting. The SR22 I got her is one of her favorite to shoot and plink with, right after her bow (that I also bought her).Like I said, I'm not judging. Handle the purchases how you want, it's your business not mine. Gifting and personal transactions are perfectly legal the way you're describing. But if I know a gun is definitely going to someone other than me, they should be the one to go through the process not me. One of the big talking points for gun rights is the idea of the "responsible law abiding gun owner" and if we're more or less exploiting one of the same so called "loopholes" that criminals do to get guns on the street then we are not helping the cause in terms of setting a good example. Of course, the critical thing is that we don't go and do something stupid with the guns and don't go selling/transferring the legally purchased gun to someone who shouldn't have it in the first place. in that regard, I think most gifted and privately sold guns are perfectly kosher, but like I said, doesn't set a good example in some cases.

Any pics of the rack on the bike?

Someday, when it warms up again. He just got thru his break in 1000 miles.
-
What if the gun is a gift? He can't gift a gun to his wife?honestly, you should do the transaction for your gun and your wife should be doing it for hers. Not judging but that's how it's supposed to work.
Edit: I already know the answer. I've bought all of my Fiancée's rifles as gifts and 1 of her handguns.

I would come if it wasn't my work day.

Check out motorcyclegear.com for cheap gear. We scored her Sidi boots there for $130 (which is an absolute steal). But my Fiancée is tiny at 5'0" and 100 lbs, so if you can find gear her size, it's usually on clearance. Lol
Edit: also check STG... they had alot of women's clearance stuff too
-
Also subscribed to this because I'll prolly be buying the woman a race suit for her birthday in March
-
Don't skimp on the boots. The woman had some Joe Rocket boots and they were fine when she was passenger, but she hated them when she started riding her own bike. Got her a nice set of Sidi boots, and she absolutely loves them. She didn't think she would like the full size race boots, but she loves them now.

Or just use a bow. Silent killer. Most muncipaities have ordinances prohibiting the discharge of any firearm within city limits. There are affirmative defenses for instances of home invasions, etc., but WITHOUT LOOKING UP ANY SPECIFIC CODES, I believe it's an M4 where I live. Probably a just a fine.
From an ORC perspective, it's been a while since I have looked it up, but my recollection is DO NOT FIRE OVER ANY ROADS, and don't create a "substantial risk of physical harm," or cause actual harm to any person, and you're still looking at misdemeanors. Probably an M1 though, so jail time is possible, and not completely unlikely.
Shooting downward so you can credibly and confidently say that any missed shots impacted the ground behind your target would be a good idea. Recovering the bullets from the ground with an impartial witness would be better.
Not getting caught would be best... I try to keep things inconspicuous and legal whenever possible. Pellet gun is about as far as I'll go unless a coyote is actively attacking my dog.
-
My Father in law knows 100% for a fact that his Jack Russel was killed by yotes, 1 lured him in back to the others "he witnessed it" and he never came home.......he ALWAYS comes home. Of course those were country yotes, I have never seen more than 1 at any given time in my burb.
My parents had the same thing happened, but the yote died and not the dog. After a snow storm, the parents dogs would go nuts every night, dad would yell, dogs would go to the barn and go to sleep. Finally one clear, full moon night, the dogs went nuts again and dad finally saw why. He grabbed the gun and walked outside. His dogs, knowing that shit was about to hit the fan, darted for the barn. Dad shot at the yote and it tore off running. Thought he missed. Took the snowmobile out the next day and found it about 100 yds out in the field, frozen stiff.

I would blame the shit hole that is PayPal.I guess I just had a bad experience with them. I cancelled an ebay order (my fault) and they never refunded my money. Luckily I checked after a month but no refund. Sent email to their customer service and they said they never got the money...they told me this 2x...even though it was clearly a completed transaction on paypal. Had to file a paypal claim when they finally "found" the money and refunded me. I wouldn't have trusted them again, but maybe with all these + reviews I would....

Put cruise on it and go. I rode my SV1000S all over, and now my brother has it. It is a great touring platform. If you wanna get real fancy, all the SVN parts fit the SVS, swap the upper triple, bars and cables, and ya got a SVNS.
