  1. Some of us are lucky enough to have to work this Sunday. Anyone have any idea where I can stream the game? I know verizon has an NFL app to stream but I'm on AT&T on my BlackBerry. My signal here is good enough to stream and I have my stereo hook up Bluetooth so I can hear. Just need somewhere to stream from.
  2. Double Post But for good waste of space... Be glad your 4.0L didn't do this. but it turned into this
  3. http://fortwayne.craigslist.org/pts/2802972097.html You would have to do some part swaps, but the block should be all the same.
  4. If you want cheap to shoot, 223 is dirt cheap and readily available. And plenty of take down power. I've taken 2 deer with my Remington 700. Doe I shot at 200 yards never took another step. Soft Points have some nasty knock down power.
  5. I bought mine new and it took them that long. They did a trade with a dealer in MI to get it.
  6. 03 has its bonuses.... For one, higher tail making it turn quicker. Wish I could find a 03 tail to paint black and stick on mine.
  7. Suzuki even quit making the SV1000 after 2007. Never made the SV1000N other than 2003 (in the US). From what I understand, the cost of making it hit emissions was too much, so they cut it. Took my dealer a month to find me a black 07 SV1000S. They just were not popular. Which is one of the reasons I liked it. I always wanted a TLS, but couldn't find a clean one. As soon as the SV was in my garage, my bro found this..... First and last of a legend. 2007 SV1000S and 1997 TL1000S
  8. I have that exact bike. Love the thing. Only problem I have had is the stator took a crap, but that's 4 yrs old with 38,000 miles. Other than that, just ride the piss outta it. Parts are pretty easy to find. A lot of SV650, gsxr stuff fits. Plus same motor as the V-Strom (Suzuki still makes that, right). I love having the massive torque of a 1000 twin. Great for 2up or long hauls.
  9. Don't bother calling, I already left for Brooklyn. I'll send pics later. Lol Sent from my BlackBerry 9810 using Tapatalk
  10. Too bad your 3 hrs from me, I'd be all over this.... Maybe a cbus trip is due.... Sent from my BlackBerry 9810 using Tapatalk
  11. Man, you're a week to late..... I just used my last 4 tires off the discontinued tire list at work. Picked up my 4 BFG Rugged Terrains for my Jeep for $300.
  12. I have a Yosh TRC of a 06 GSXR 600 on my 1000 mounted up to my M4 headers/ midpipe. The M4 reduces down to 2 inch pipe at the end, but has 2 1/4 piping the rest of the way. So I cut the reducer off the end of the midpipe & slid on the TRC. Runs fine and has for about 20,000 miles. The 650 has a Yosh TRS slip on and I've pulled the can off and tossed the TRC can on it for the hell of it & it runs exactly the same.
  13. +1 on Michelin Pilot Road 2. Put 10k on a rear last year. Wears like a touring tire, grips like a Pilot Power. If I hadn't bought PR2's on Dec 30th for this season, I'd be trying PR3s. But none the less, I had to use my discount before the end of the year.
  14. I'll be there all weekend. Getting down there Thursday afternoon, Staying by U Indy with the GF. http://youtu.be/l-GetqfpHcc Look for me, my friend is taking a pic of me at 1:11 in that video. Its my claim to fame!
  15. I know if you don't have AAA, they will sign you up over the phone & come tow you, but don't know about upgrading and getting a tow. And you gotta have AAA RV for motorcycle tows.
  16. Oops! I messed that up. Petcock position is On, Reserve & Prime.
  17. Typical petcock positions are on, off & prime. On runs off engine vacuum to let the fuel flow. Prime is gravity flow. So if the its still flowing gas out heavy while on, something maybe still be wrong with the petcock, or my thought process is that on prime, the fuel is pushing the float up hard enough to slow it, but when on, it doesn't come outta the tank fast enough to push the float up.
  18. I've used Rotilla every oil change of my 1000s life of 36k. I'll send ya top end pics if ya want. Completely clean. Diesel is dirty, it contaminates the oil. Same as a gas engine does but gas is more refined.
  19. What kind of major issues? Only problem I've have in my 4 years and 36,000 miles is the stator just quit this spring. And the SV is easily set up for touring with a triple tree swap to the naked bars. The 650 is setup that way, but my 1000 has the stock clip-ons.
  20. Michelin has plants everywhere. I'm currently standing in one.
  21. It does that for a few others too.
  22. Thank you. I was originally looking for a TL, but couldn't find a clean one.... of course, once I ordered the SV, my bro's TL came on craigslist, all stock, other than the recall for a steering dampener. Never had the ECU changed. Owned by a Suzuki Tech that didn't do the "Widowmaker" recalls. Friggin sweet bike. Too bad he sold it And I've met Justin now! I love my girls bike.... actually, I the ex's 650 (in my avatar pic) is in my garage too.
  23. Thanks Man. Here's another pic that I love, first and last of the big Suzuki twin sportbikes. My SV & my bro's 97 TLS.
  24. I figure I better introduce myself before I just start jumping in threads. Better start off with a pic or 3.... Thats my baby, '07 SV1000S. Bought her brand new. Waited 3 months to get it once I ordered. Currently has 36k on the clock. She's been good to me. Lots of long trips on those wheels. Deal's Gap, South Carolina, last year a week trip down the Blue Ridge Parkway. She currrently has a full M4 exhaust running into a Yoshi Carbon TRC (off a GSXR) attached by a custom midpipe. Also have the M4 race setup in the garage, but thats not very good for bags on the bike. PC3usb, SpeedoHealer, 520 chain & sprockets (+2 rear), factory full fairings with custom frame sliders. Enough about her... I'm stuck up here in NW Ohio where all we have is boring straight 1 mile square blocks. Hopefully meet up with some of you guys & gals and do some riding where it is more fun.
