  1. This makes me miss my ZX9 even more The ZZR600 isn't going to have the power of my old 9 but it's better than no bike! Installing a new starter solenoid once I'm off work and hoping she starts. Next will be removing all the plastics I've fitted to start repairing them and getting the bike over to friend to weld the subframe so she's road worthy.
  2. There are a few in the area but for the most part it's basically 2-4 turns then straights. Like they said, KY is by far the best area for beautiful roads.
  3. Mason here. Still working on getting my bike in running order.
  4. Will be doing this for my fairings once I get the bike in running order. I have some UV activated resin and mat left over from a previous project.
  5. This is almost up there with the Ringo and Exarch threads. Few more pages of "I was bored an this kept me entertain but also fuck the other guy" and it will be complete.
  6. Nail on the head. Headline could have been "Man robbed, assaulted and shot while browsing OhioRiders.net in Columbus park"
  7. I loved the LEDs I put on my old ZX9. Especially since I loved to ride at night. Might have just been a sense of false security but it made me feel like I was more easy to see to other drivers.
  8. One of the reasons people spoof GPS locations is due to certain Pokemon only spawn in certain regions. People have been getting temp banned for it from what I've heard but Niantic is seems to be mainly worrying about server issues right now. I haven't seen much data used at all and to my knowledge it only uses basic information from a Google account now. Main thing is that it destroys battery. Also completely agree with IP.
  9. Correct, if you were closer I have a tool that is more precise you could use but that is how I used to tune my amp before I got it. I normally get it to match the meter then back it down just a tad to be safe. Same with the volume of the head unit, as an example my previous head unit went to 35 but I never went over 30.
  10. Definitely check the sub's impedance and check this video for setting gains with a voltmeter
  11. I've seen more good come from this game than from any other that has come out in recent years. I've moved my cardio from the gym to pokemon GO, I walked 22 miles in 3 days because of this game. The gf and I are looking into bicycles to start using to get stops and get outside more in general. The fact that you don't need to stare at it the entire time is great too, just turn your volume up or have 1 ear bud in and it makes specific sounds for things in game. People are taking those lures ($1 in the apps store and also given as rewards at certain levels) and placing them on locations in hospitals for the people that can't go outside. Using the game as physical therapy tool for kids. People are downloading other apps that donate money based on how much you walk and helping random charities. Stories of people meeting in parks and local food places selling food in the park to benefit from the sudden gatherings and people buying food for the homeless that are in the parks are becoming more common. Viral images of "while your out catching pokemon take a bag and clean up litter" and kids setting up water/snack stands to sell to people walking down the streets are constantly on my newsfeed. Now if only they could get the servers to not catch fire every hours.
  12. Did you set the gain properly? Sounds like amp is getting over loaded due to high demand. I'm no expert though but that is something I think might be contributing.
  13. I liked a bunch of those but this one rang out with me the most. 65. Don't obsess over scale weight. Lose 10 pounds of fat and gain 10 pounds of muscle and the scale will say you made "no progress." The mirror beats the scale.
  14. I had posted a picture of a couple finished bikes I did for some friends and someone asked for a write up lol
  15. My weight is still floating at 260 but I'm down almost another pant size and all my lifts have increased in weight as well. Down to 31% bid fat from 37% a month ago. Friends and I decided to do a big lift a little while ago and try and break 100k lbs of total weight lifted in one go. We broke it at 115k! Was about a 2 hour gym session and needless to say I felt it all the next couple days but I was also proud of myself for sticking to trying to break 100k, I wanted to stop a couple times but my friends kept pushing me and we made it. My blood pressure has been going down as well which is another goal I have. Down from 131/80 to 117/80 and that was last month so I'm due to get it checked again.
  16. ZZR is almost fully up and running but I forgot about a camping trip that is this weekend so I won't be making it. Thought about doing the ride but going down to KY and just shooting guns, hiking and fishing for a weekend sounds a little better to me Have fun everyone and ride safe!
  17. I know my picture links are broken and that is some good information but doesn't pertain to the topic of my original post. This was about installing LED's as underglow type lighting.
  18. Hopefully it will even out the mufflers as well. It looks like someone tried some JB Weld or something to patch it up. I'm assuming the frame is aluminum as well? Buddy is a certified aluminum welder and want to make sure that is what the frame is made of.
  19. I have never done a marathon of any kind so I haven't really looked into it. I get where you are coming from though.
  20. Honestly the thought of a charity hadn't even came to my mind. It looks like a fun time and that was pretty much as far as I looked into it.
  21. Some friends and I are planning on doing this 5k run later this year. Anyone else interested? http://insaneinflatable5k.com/columbus-oh/
  22. So small update. Bike is starting and running fairly easily now and I've changed the oil as well. Installed some new grips due to the OEM throttle tube being cracked. Ive got pretty much all the plastics that came with it on the bike but I'm completely missing the tail plastics so I'll be without rear signals for a little. Found a crack in the subframe as well on the right side of the bike. Luckily I have a friend that welds and can get it fixed and also thanks to 2Fat I know to remove the battery and ECU so it doesn't get fried. The right side also looks to be a side that went down in a lower speed crash. There is road rash on the plastics and some other parts along the right side.
  23. With the help of 2fat2fly the bike is running! Spent most of the evening at his place cleaning my carbs and learning some new things. Put the carbs back on the bike later in the evening and she fired right up! If it wasn't past 10pm I would have got her up to operating temp but that will have to wait until later today. Thanks again 2fat2fly for all the help!
  24. Jk, I fucked up but now I will be taking my carbs to 2fat2fly this Thursday to get cleaned properly.
