Out of a 95 grand cherokee. Motor is fully dressed minus power sterring pump and ac compressor are sitting beside the motor. Drivetrain came out of a wrecked jeep that was hit in the rear. I bought it for the front and rear axles.

 

106k we did start it before we tore it apart. Honestly the quietest 4.0 I've ever heard run. Was owned by an older lady and she did take very good care of it.

 

I believe it's a 42re trans but I will double check. Fuild is damn clean and it did shift fine when we drove it around the block real quick.

 

Transfer case is a 231j was told it was rebuilt. Appears to have new seals in it. Engaged and disengaged very smoothly. This is the slecta trac so 2wd 4 high,low option.

 

Price say 900 for everything. I will separate but would much rather someone at least buy motor and trans together.

I don't think I'm going to need the rear axle. If not it will be for sale as well. It is a 3.55 gear.

 

Also have a complete front clip minus grill. Good header panels headlights fenders good and both front doors that are in great rust free shape. Bright red in color. And most of the light grey interior.

If you are only looking at Grand Cherokee Limited's - they would only come with the 4.7 V8. If you want the I6, you will need to look at the Laredos. Also any with the V8, have more or less, full time AWD, where the ones with the I6 have selectable 4x4.

 

Not true. You could get an I6 I the limiteds. And you could get a v8 in the laredos.

edit. ALSO would be interested in the 73-79 body style as well. i do like the body lines of the 73-79 better but they seem harder to find. all i really need is the body. and a title. this will be getting put on a crown vic frame.

Get a pilot or a older mdx then. You can find a pilot for around 4-6k with a little higher milliage. 140-155k Take care of it and it'll run forever. Every Honda I've owned has been a 200k plus car and ran great. CRv good to look at too.

I need driver side front fender and both doors for drive side. Driver side headlight and tail light. Front bumper cover as well but not needed 100% just has a small crack. Anyone gonna part one out or know of a yard that has one that's silver? I picked up a 01 4 door civic today that was wrecked but just really tore the side of the car up some.
