  1. Yes you have to remove the whole hvac housing. Discharge the AC, unbolt the lines going into the firewall. Remove heater core hoses. Remove all the hidden bolts that hold the hvac housing to the firewall.

Remove all 80 screws and separate the housing. Being careful of the doors..

Best way to discharge ac? And what lines to I all need to take off. Ac and the heater return and feed line?

  2. I have a 01 grand cherokee and the heater core is leaking. ( fogging of windshield and smells of antifreeze from vents. Enough to make to dizzy.) anyways I got the dash removed but now the heater ore is my question. Do I have to take the whole sub assembly for the hvac away from the Firewall? Discounting the ac system ect in the engine compartment? I could use a little help at this point. Need some pointers. Done a heater core in my of body before but this thing is way more of a pain in the ass. Although. 2 hours to get the dash out was not to bad I thought. so far searching online has been no help. If anyone knows I could use a point in the right direction.

  3. Remote start, rear a/c and heat seats 7, good tires, new alternator and tune up recent. has scuffs on front and rear bumper and little 1/4 damage. title is still clean. great as a winter vechile or something newer, cheap, and reaible to haul the kids around in. has 153k. runs and drives great.

i put a new headlight and tail light in it. i dont see a point in truly fixing it as it has a little higher miles. be perfect to use as a work van or hauler ect. drives and rides nice.

  4. My 1.8t had 143k on it at the time it caught fire ( dash harness) was run hard before I got it but the only issue I kept having with it was the coolant plug on the back of the motor kept blowing out when in boost through a few gears. And blowing the coupler off the turbo. Few parts from international parts fixed them issues.

What is the price for the a4 with that low of miles?

  5. 99 civic has 239k on it 5 speed. runs great. drives great. has some dings and dents but is rust free. perfect a winter beater. i bought in in jan i believe as a gas saver. at this point im thinning down some vehicles to get some money together so i can go back to school and get out of my dreadfully hated job.

when i bought it, it was backed into i put a new hood on it and bought new headlights for it as well because they were so yellowed you could barley see.

ready to go only downsides to it is the drivers window does not go up all the way. stops an inch or so short. needs a new window motor regulator. and the a/c to work again need the belt and tensioner and hardware. interior is not perfect and either is the exterior. need one more wheel to have a matching set. ( has a stellie on passenger front. got bent from one of the massive pot holes on 270 )tires still have plenty of tread left. front brakes are new. ( have Mayne 8k on them ) rears could used to be replaced. also needs a new antenna on the roof. thats a long story. but short story version. me=hurry=it got ripped off.

  7. ive hurt my back at work and want to get something auto as a winter vehicle. only trades id be interested would be an auto 4wd truck/suv another f-150 or a grand cherokee

truck is in pretty good shape. does have some of the typical ford rust in spots but is great running truck. before i got it the previous owner had a slight mis hap with the truck when the emergency brake failed while parked and the truck rolled down into a tree is what i was told. ( i saw the tree missing some bark ) anyway the front bumper was replaced and a new headlight and bezel was put in. truck isnt perfect. but good for a winter truck ect.

has cold a/c and hot heat. pretty new BFG all terrains

    183k

has the 4wd selector on the floor.

both fuel tanks work but the rear tank with more then half a tank in it does leak around turns. the rubber gromet the fuel filler neck fits in through needs replaced.

it could use some new front rotors and pads. stops fine but there are a little warped.

asking 2,700 but CR price 2,200 OBO

callor text. i have more picturs on my phone i can send. 6148329977

  8. i got a 95 f-150 ext cab short bed 5.0 5 speed truck as a winter vehicle/work truck for this winter and such. not really fond of the 5 speed part but it will do for now and ill get a different truck next year after i save up some more money. its a nice truck overall but one thing that drives me nuts is the stance. it sits 4" lower in the front then it does in the back. feels like im sliding froward in the sit while im driving it. ive been looking into leveling kits for it but i think the front coils are sagging some as well. ive heard f-250 2 wd coils will level the truck and ive seen some pictures of trucks with them. which is just what im after. now what im confused on it there talking about needing an aliment after this would be done which is a no brainier but. ive read i will need to order camber bushing and it shows there sold in all sorts of different degree's. anyone familiar with this body styles f-150's suspension and can clarify this?

  9. Anything before the 2005 restyle sells pretty cheap. Like $6000 for a NICE one. The 4.7 is fine but a lot of people will claim they sludge, engines sludge because idiot owners don't change the oil. Service records would be nice. Try to get one with the transfer case that allows you to go into 2wd instead of requiring full time 4x4 for the sake of gas mileage. Headlights fog up/yellow pretty bad. I've heard rumor of electrical problems but nothing difficult. Overall, they are a good deal for what they are so long as you don't mind shit gas mileage. If I was looking for a cheap SUV I'd look at them first.

gas milliage wise there really not bad. mine being lifted with 285/75/16's is still got 22 on the highway

overheating was a major killer of the 4.7's

also the blower motor resistor. both of my jeep i had to replace this. $90 ish dealer part takes 15 mins to fix. also sterring damper...death wobble sucks

ball joints and hub assebles are common as well as the front drive shaft. ( which IS NOT cheap ) bearings in the eariler modles like the fail. with the 03/04 im pretty sure they used a u joint setup at that point though so no worries there.

factory amps like the fail as well.
