Ryan that is much more car than you have had so far. Drive it some first and do some solo events in it before you make more power. That car can bite a novice in the ass pretty quick, get seat time first.

Theres a white one here in mount vernon at a place called jims car company,i think they said it needed a head gasket its been there for months.i think this is the number (740) 326-6388eh probaly been beat the living shit out of then. by chance know the year?

looking for a 99 or 01 cobra. anyone know of any for sale? looking for a new car to try a project with. have a few ive found that are possibilities. miles are not a huge issue long as there not really high in miles and in beat down shape. wanting a White one but damn i have not seen ONE for sale within 500 miles of me.

2002 jetta.....it caught fire. blew the resantor out. heated up the heat shield. melted the aluminum. then caught the interior on fire. seats are drying right now. new carpet for it is about to get put in. new exhaust and new heat shield from manifold back are on. buttttt i think the ecu is fried. the o2's senor and throttle share the same wire i was reading. it also melted the 02 and is has no throttle when you hit the gas peddle. willl sit there and idle perfect. next is to test the ecu after interior is back in.

severely OT but how do you prevent this from happening on a 4.0 I6 motor?
change your oil every week lol. idk i think the lady before me let is lasp for a very long time and thats what caused the lifters to get gunked up and seize. after a few oil changes after i got it i noticed the filter getting dectly dirty and then this happend. its good to go now. just turned over the 320 mile mark on this motor. running strong! would like it gone by this weekend.

on the transfer case do you hav 2wd-part time 4wd 4hi-4low(np242) 2wd-4hi-4low(np231)also what happened to the engine that caused the rebuild?
it is the 2 wd. 4 part time 4 low 4 high so the np242 then.
lifters seized up. i said screw it. dipped into my savings and did it right. wasnt much more. i planed on fixing it then keeping it for a while but ive come across a car i really really reallllllly want to get.
forgot to add. also has a new oil pump.

Laredo model. Its a 4.0 HO motor. Not sure what transfer case it has. More then welcome to come take a look. That or I can crawl under there and check tomm a little after 2 have to head stright to work today. 4 wheel high, low, and part time all work as they should. Transmission shifts great. Everything works as it should on the jeep with the excption of on thing. The rear window wiper on the hatch onlý makes contact in a 4 inch spot. I think the spring in there need replaced. Never was a big deal to me so never messed with it.

rebuilt motor is in. have put a litle over 200 miles on it since 5am this morning. running great. turned 144k on the way home from school today. finished getting the motor back together about 5am drove it to school at 9am lol. has a lil over 220 miles on it since the motor was put back together.
its got new pistons and rods and bearings. new lifters, push rods, and rockers.
since i bought it ive done...
new headlights.
all new rotors.
seats from a 2002 Laredo.
added a "hidden hitch"
35% tint on front windows.
and obviously the motor overhaul.
flushed the transmission, shifts great. will come with new windshield molding that i haven't yet installed. im just wanting to get back into a mustang.
these are shitty cell pics and it is very dirty. overcast and getting dark. were supposed to get some snow tomm so after thats gone ill clean it all up and get better pictures and some videos of i running for everyone. going to detail it and then ill have more pics up.

make sure you pull the radiator and the core support upper section when pulling the motor or bad things will happen
it wont even let me view any engines. and problem is the one i found for 699.00 through another site had over 170,xxx miles on it. i refuse to put a motor in that has even more miles on it then this one in the pos has. at this point im ready to dump nothing but lucus into it and see what happens then trade the pos in.

motor in my jeep is dead. ive rebuilt the top end, new lifters rockers, pushrods. every single lifter was sized up. it still has a nasty noise and im pretty sure its a wrist pin. the wear on cyl #4 was really bad. the lady i bought this from let it lasp in chainging the oil for atleast im guessing 20,000 plus miles.
mine is a 2000 pretty sure any motor from a 99-04 will work. if you know of any or got pne please call or text me. have cash. need one ASAP. 614-832-9977

insurance gave me 4k for a primer grey 88 mustang 5.0 with rust holes :shrug: keep bitching at them. prove with receipts. its what we had to do. they tried giving us a Lil over 1,200 till we showed all the paper work with what we had just put into it over the past year. and it was nationwide ( her insurance who caused the accident )

factory in dash nav from a jeep? a guy i was talking to at the dealership said that back when they first came out they werew great and very up to date and with up date Cd's there still good?

I don't think that would be to hard to make fit if you don't mind hacking up your center dash and then working with fiberglass to make it look good. I am sure any audio shop would be able to help you out there.
well CCA wants 800-1000k in labor to put that head unit in so forgettt that. and im not really a fan of a huge 7" inch screen so looks like ill just buy a garmin.

i want to do a double din in dash nav in the jeep i have. but all say they will not fit. and i dont want want that motors out then the screen flips out. ive found one i like and would like to use this one. i figured someone would make a new faceplate for it or something?
that or any of you have a double din in dash nav in your grand cherokee like mine?
