no he is being a smart ass about the car i just bought. he thinks his t bird is the god of anything and everything. that no car can touch in on a road course. his comments. "shitty front suspension" "its still a mustang" well guess what your SC is still a damn t bird! a crappy IRS in them. well really we all know the breaking of them. a shitty motor. shitty trans. did i leave anything else out that you think that car is complete shit about?

Those pizzas are going to get there extra fast in that car burning 93 octane the entire way.
Why do you need to use a clay bar? Is the paint really poopy? I would figure a good quality wax would be enough. Not like its a show car or anything. Sucks when you put all that work into the body shining it up and you get that first rock chip on the nose. Makes it all feel worth it.

do you really think id deliver in a car like this? seriously? no. im getting a new job. and working inside for the time being. paints fine. just want to clean it up. rear up and you will understand why i want to clay bar it. it removes impurities from the clears surface.

I dont think it needs the tune right away. i still think it may be more of a machanical fuel delivery problem than mapping. Like a clogged fuel line or injector(s).
no it needs to a tune. the tune it had now it for a cammed 2v motor. it had a 4v non cammed motor. alot of difference. and it needs the return fuel line hooked up.

whats a good clay bar and wax to use? and how should i go about it? clay bar first then a good wax right? this is what i got from just a mothers polish.

I know a guy who has an 03 blower and injectors and shit for sale basically everything that he didn't reuse when he went kb for 500 pm me if interested
it wouldnt be happening for a while. towards the end of the year. nice weather is just around the bend and i want to enjoy the car so now much will be happening with it.
i made 445 and 390 tq on the mach1 and hoed the shit out of it, all on a stock pullied eatonyeah, car was sick why did ya do it :sad:

i went and looked at the car. it needs a tune BAD as well as the coil on plug set up. thats the biggest issues. it leans out as soon as you give it gas. the tune it has is for a 2v cammed motor. now has this cobra motor in it with 30lb injectors. to much for a stock 96-98 4v imo. also probably needs a cobra fuel pump. ( not sure what pump the gt came with vs the cobra's though ) very nice looking car. body has it few blemish but nothing that wouldn't take more then a few hours of a professional details time to polish out for the most part. interior was in good shape. car road nice. no rust that i seen. has a damn nice stance imo. does need a transmission though.

should be, but a high miler like that, may just push the rings a bit too far tho...just keep it n/a.
ill go with what rob says on it lol. worse case maybe down the road just get a motor from a 03/04 for it. time will tell.

turned 128k on the drive home. paid 6700 for it. been taken care of runs great.

well dont pull a chad and run 550hp at the wheels, and you might keep the rods in it.
i wanna put a 03/04 blower on it and keep it around 420. i think it would be safe with a tune at that?

1999 rio red with the dark charcoal leather. stock besides a stage 2 spec clutch and a flow master cat back and the bullets that are on it...i want cobra wheels though so they will be going away later on after i find a set.
it didnt come with the SVT documents but ill call SVT on Monday and take care of that. came with the windows sticker though :nice:

ha yeah, didnt know you were on here. if i had more time id buy yours. after checking everything id need to get it running right with a tune and a new trans id have more in it then buying a 99 cobra.

S0, 4v/3v 302/351 all better than 2v.
dont want another fox though right now. want a new edge. 2v with one of chad's kits would still make more then enough power to keep me happy with having the 2v.

both of there advantages. like he said. people who really want to through a car through the corners don't go out and buy just a mustang for that. mustangs have always been a straight line car in my opinion.

WTF no. If you are gonna step to costly mod motor parts at least go 4v. Still think best bet is buy a clean fox and have in ship from west
i wont be able to find a 99 or 01 cobra through with 80k at most on it for under 9,000 though. dont really wanna even spend 7k on a rio red one with 128k on it.
i can probaly get this dark green gt for about 6k out the door at this dealer with 71k on it. maybe even left since the bumper needs painted and it has some retarted tsw wheels on it. and a chip on the door

im thinking im just going to buy a 99-04 GT cheaper, with money left over i have enought to buy the turbo kit from chad. so by mid summer i could have that done. i think id enjoy a turbo'ed GT by this summer more then buying a cobra and draining my bank account to next to nothing.

it has a 5.0l in it thats makes about 300 to the wheels. then a suspension. cobra r front brakes and some other crap lol i lost track. its cool car but damnit imma try and show him up in the cobra this year. plus his shit talking has got to stop. lol. imma try some auto cross for the hell of it. maybe ill get lucky and be good at it ha.
