Like previous updates to the RF line, the RF-1200 is a big step up from the outgoing model. One of the more noticeable changes at a glance is the reduction in shell size. The new shell is more aerodynamic and sleek looking than the predecessor thanks to extensive wind tunnel testing. A no-cut frame slider solution from Puig, the Pro Frame Slider kit offers great protection without having to cut your fairings. Most frame slider kits available today stick straight out from the frame. While this works in a slow or stationary drop, it doesn't always help while sliding at speed. These basic kits tend to get caught in imperfections on the ground and catch, causing the bike to tumble creating even more damage. The unique rounded design offered in the Puig Pro Frame Slider kit minimizes these extra tumbles. Available for many applications, so please specify what you are looking for. One of the first steps in determining the health of an engine is performing a compression test. A compression test will tell you if it's a fresh engine ready to rock, or if it's on its last leg and in need of a rebuild soon. Using a the compression test tool itself is quite simple, gaining access to your spark plugs will be the most difficult part of this maintenance. New from Nelson-Rigg is the CL-2020 GPS tank bag available from Riders Discount. A large capacity tank bag featuring an easily viewable and accessible GPS and phone pocket. The clear pouches are touch screen friendly, no need to take them out of their pocket every time you need to use them.
