  1. You can never have too many tie downs around the garage, shop or trailer. That’s why we’re offering 4-packs of BikeMaster Poly Tie Downs for just $14.99 (MSRP $32.95) when ordered alongside any other item direct through a member of our sales team. If you just want the tie downs and don’t need another item at the moment, you can order a set for $19.99. These make a great stocking stuffer! BikeMaster Poly Tie Downs are made of a double stitched, woven webbing that is good for a tension strength of 1200 lbs. They are 6 ft. in length, with each end tipped in a hook that is dipped in a soft vinyl coating in order to protect paint and finishes. We wouldn’t sell a product that we don’t trust, which is why we used these same tie downs when we recently shipped a race bike from our headquarters in Michigan, across the country to California. To get the special $14.99 price on a 4-pack of BikeMaster Poly Tie Downs you will need to place your order through Nathan. Feel free give him a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 809, or send him a message through this forum. Is email more convenient? 2. Whether you’re carrying your gear to the track or the trail, the going can sometimes be too rough for a wheeled gear bag. For these instances it’s nice to have a bag you can throw over your shoulder, yet still carry everything you need. This is where the Ogio Dozer 8600 excels. At 9100 cubic inches (140 L), the Ogio Dozer 8600 is the biggest non-wheeled gear bag that Ogio produces. This huge capacity means that you have more than enough room to carry a complete set of gear and still have a lot of room to spare. The main compartment is absolutely cavernous and features large, side-access pocket that opens into it. This pocket allows you to keep a pair of muddy boots from getting the rest of your gear dirty, store your helmet separately, or just keep things organized - it all depends on how you want to use it. There are also large screened in vents at the top of each corner that let moisture escape and help keep your gear from turning into something that resembles or smells like a science experiment after a ride. Carrying a fully-loaded gear bag can be tough if it is poorly designed, but that isn’t the case with the Ogio Dozer 8600. The sling-style shoulder strap is fully adjustable, thoroughly padded and distributes the weight well. This strap is removable and clips on with heavy-duty hardware. The 8600 also has a lengthy, duffle-style set of handles on top and a shorter handle on each end. These all make it an easy bag to transport and move around in the back of a car, truck, or trailer when you’re packing everything up at the end of a long day of riding. In terms of the construction, the Dozer 8600 is well thought out and built to last. Ogio built the 8600 using heavy material that can withstand rips, tears and just about anything you can throw at it. It will also keep your gear safe, thanks to the the iFOM (integrated foam) panels that add padding throughout the bag. The base is reinforced with a waterproof second layer so that you don’t have to worry about setting it down on wet ground. Heavy-duty stitching holds everything together, including the straps and handles. If you’re interested in the Ogio Dozer 8600, or any other Ogio bag for that matter, just get in touch with Nathan by calling 866.931.6644 ext. 809. You can also feel free to contact him through this forum or send an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! The Ogio Dozer 8600 is shown here in the F11 graphic. More are available, including Stealth Black, and the usual eye-catching designs that Ogio is known for. The sling-style shoulder strap is fully adjustable, thoroughly padded and distributes the weight well. This strap is removable and clips on with heavy-duty hardware. The 8600 also has a lengthy, duffle-style set of handles on top. Each end has a zippered pocket and grab handle. One is a outer pocket for small items and the other opens into the organizational sleeve in the main compartment. The bottom is reinforced with a waterproof layer that allows you to set it down on wet ground without your gear getting wet.
  3. Also new for this year is the Inception graphic for the RF-1200. It features a worn-looking pinstripe pattern with the number 59 on one side. This is representative of the year 1959, which is when Shoei first offered their helmets. Underneath it all is a subtle motorcycle chain pattern that provides depth throughout the paint. If you’re interested in any of the RF-1200 helmets that we have posted so far, or any that we haven’t, just get in touch with Nathan through this forum or by calling 866.931.6644 extension 809. Is email more convenient? Send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away!
  4. The AGV Corsa Valentino Rossi Winter Test Limited Edition is a good looking lid right out of the box, but we think it looks even better with an optional Iridium Silver shield. The silver of the shield perfectly complements the matte silver used in the sun and moon graphics on each side of the helmet. In addition to the Iridium Silver shown here, other optional shields for the AGV Corsa and Pista GP include: Iridium Blue, Iridium Gold, Dark Smoke, Light Smoke, Yellow and Rainbow.
  5. There’s no doubt that Icon does things a little differently when it comes to both their products and their marketing. This is especially true when it comes to their “Icon 1000” line of gear. This is their premium gear and each of the products are presented like they are something out of a Mad Max movie, with each one practically being a character with its own narrative. Take the Icon Truant boots (actually more of a riding shoe), for example. In Icon’s words: “A disregard of the norm, the Truant’s design heeds no respect for authority. Rebellion is healthy; it stirs the pot and creates a new order, one fit for when the arbitrary rules of society break down. In this vein, we crafted the ICON 1000 Truant Boot. Boot toughness with an athletic look, it’s a sneaker with a sideways glance quick trigger finger.” While we don’t know whether the Icon Truant boots will be creating a new world order or not, they definitely do make for a nice riding shoe if you’re looking for something a little different! Shaped like an athletic shoe, the Truant features a full-grain leather upper with a well-worn, rugged finish. Inside you’ll find a steel shank for safety and rigidity, but this doesn’t make them totally inflexible. Further protection comes from a reinforced toe box and heel. Underneath, a slip-resistant rubber sole helps you keep your footing. Rounding everything out is a semi-covered set of laces and an adjustable leather strap to hold everything in place. Contact Nathan for more information by calling 866.931.6644 extension 809 or send him a message through this forum. Is email more convenient? Feel free to send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! The Icon Truant boots are available in Brown (shown), and Black. MSRP $200.00
  6. Speed and Strength’s Twist of Fate line of suits has been one of the best deals in race-ready leather since the first model was introduced a few years back. Now, Speed and Strength has pulled a hat-trick with the introduction of the third and newest model, the Twist of Fate 3.0. Constructed from premium 1.2 - 1.4mm cowhide, the Speed and Strength Twist of Fate 3.0 has a look and feel that outpaces its relatively modest price. This sturdy frame is built for maximum abrasion resistance and is backed by CE-rated armor in the back, knee, elbow and shoulder. The shoulder also features a new style of titanium-capped protector that sits atop the leather on the exterior. Despite the thick leather and the array of armor, the Twist of Fate 3.0 is a incredibly comfortable suit that feels broken in the first time you try it on. This is due in part to the high-quality and very supple leather used by Speed and Strength. Adding to the overall broken in, comfortable feel is the generous use of Schoeller® Keprotec® stretch material in the arms, crotch, thighs, and calf. The Twist of Fate 3.0 also provides plenty of ventilation, with perforated leather throughout the chest, upper arms, thighs and lower back. Like both of its predecessors, the Speed and Strength Twist of Fate 3.0 is a suit that performs at a much higher level than its price-tag would suggest. For more information and expert sizing advice, just give MIKE a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 804 or contact him through this forum. If email is more convenient, you can feel free to send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! The Speed and Strength Twist of Fate 3.0 suit is available in White/Red/Black (shown) and Black. Plenty of perforations cover the chest, upper arms, thighs and lower back. The shoulders feature a feature a new style of titanium-capped external guard. Schoeller® Keprotec® stretch panels like those shown in this arm make for a suit that wears very comfortably.
  7. We’re back with another new color for the Ogio Rig 9800 and it’s called Finish Line. Like the others, the yellow graphic of the Ogio Rig 9800 Finish Line is very eye-catching and would be nearly impossible to miss in the baggage claim. If you’re interested in any of the Ogio Rig 9800 bags, just get in touch with Nathan through this forum, or by calling 866.931.6644 ext. 809 and he’ll be happy to help. Is email more convenient? 9. True story! I think I'm up to 6 myself now. Thanks again for the business.
  10. The White/Red/Green suits and the size 10 XP5-S WRS boots are sold out. Today is the last day of the sale, so be sure to take advantage of these deals while you can!
  11. We went ahead and unpacked one of the Cardo Scala Rider G9 Powersets to give you a closer look at what you’ll get if you take advantage of this sale. Each G9 Powerset comes with a pair of G9’s, so you will receive two of everything. The Scala Rider G9 easily connects to your helmet in a way that gives you access to the buttons. The six rubberized buttons are large and defined enough for gloved hands to operate without needing to see them. From this angle you can see the weather-proof latch covering the USB port at the back. The built-in antenna can be deployed for extra range when needed. The max is roughly a mile in good conditions. The G9 system is actually a combination of two parts - the G9 unit itself and the G9 Audio Kit. The G9 Audio Kit is the base that is installed on the helmet along with the speakers and microphone. The G9 unit is detachable and easily fits in a pocket so that you can bring it anywhere to charge or connect it to your computer. The boom microphone and speakers come attached to each G9 Audio Kit by default. Each provides clear audio on both ends of the conversation. The speakers can also put out enough volume to be heard through earplugs while riding. An optional wired microphone is included with the kit. Playing music from an MP3 player, or any other non-Bluetooth audio source is not a problem with the auxiliary input. The cable is included.
  12. It's hard to judge a book by it's cover Aside from the interior quality between the two, the RS-1 has a SNELL 2010 rating whereas the HJC does not due to the internal sun shield. You will notice a difference if you get a chance to put these on. The IS-17 is a neat helmet, but the RS-1 is noticeably better for around the same price.
  13. Cardo Scala Rider G9 Bluetooth Communicator Powerset (Pair) - $299.00 (Retails for $499.95) Cardo Systems is one of the biggest names in Bluetooth communicators thanks to its highly successful Scala Rider line, and the newest member of the family is the G9. While it may look similar to the older G4, the G9 isn’t merely a rebadged device with a new name. The Cardo Scala Rider G9 has a number of excellent features that make it one of the best communicators out there. At its core, the Cardo Scala Rider G9 is an intercom system that performs this base functionality extremely well. The G9 can be paired with up to eight other Scala Rider units (including older models) to create a buddy list of fellow riders and passengers that can be easily reached with simple voice commands. Within this “8 + 1” pairing system, you can simultaneously converse with up to three others at a maximum range of a mile in good conditions. Cardo’s Flash Pairing literally makes pairing two units together as easy as bumping them together. All you need to do is have both in the default “standby” mode and physically bump them together - no need to navigate menus or follow complicated pairing procedures with the G9! The Bluetooth capabilities of the Cardo Scala Rider G9 are what make it more than just a basic intercom system. Pairing it with a Bluetooth capable phone unit allows you to make, answer, or reject phone calls on the fly with a simple set of voice commands, while a GPS unit or smartphone app can transmit turn-by-turn instructions right to your helmet. The G9 also has a full set of features for listening to your music - both Bluetooth and wired. A2DP technology lets you stream music from your smartphone in stereo and an auxiliary port allows for a wired connection to any audio source. In case you thought there weren’t enough audio inputs on the G9 already, it also has a built-in FM radio. All of the aforementioned features are very impressive on their own, but Cardo Systems backed all of it up by giving the Scala Rider G9 excellent audio and top-notch overall build quality. The speakers provide a crisp, clear sound and they are capable of putting out plenty of volume. We found that they could clearly be heard through earplugs while riding. Voice quality with the noise-canceling microphone is very clear as well, and doesn’t come across as muffled or broken up on the other end. The G9 unit itself is both waterproof and dustproof so that it can withstand just about anything it encounters out on the road. Like just about everything else on the Scala Rider G9, installation is simple and easy to accomplish. Cardo made sure that every unit is ready to go right out of the box by providing everything necessary for installation and use. For the Scala Rider G9 Powerset that we are featuring here, that means TWO of everything - G9 units, audio kits (with speakers/boom mic), corded microphones, wall chargers, USB cables, auxiliary MP3 cables, and installation parts/tools. The Cardo Scala Rider G9 is one of the best communicators out there, and nothing else comes close at this price. If you are interested in the G9 Powerset (Pair), you can contact Nathan through this forum, or by calling 866.931.6644 ext 809. Is email more convenient? Feel free to send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! Cardo Scala Rider G9 Bluetooth Communicator Powerset (Pair) - $299.00 (Retails for $499.95)
  14. There are a lot of reasons why the Bell RS-1 is such a well-liked helmet, and they become even more apparent when you take a closer look. Here are some up close and personal shots of a few details on the Bell RS-1 Emblem that we have on special. The 3Mode shield found on the Bell RS-1 is one of the best available, and is the same as the one used on the Bell Star. The easy to use mechanism features a trigger on the left-hand side of the helmet that lets switch between having the shield locked, cracked, or unlocked. When unlocked, the shield raises and lowers with a series of smooth clicks. The shield mechanism also allows for extremely fast shield changes. Airflow into the helmet is provided by three sets of adjustable front vents - two in the forehead (shown), and one set in the chin. The rear wing helps with stability and reduces buffeting. It also contains the two upper exhaust vents that extract warm air and moisture. The RS-1 is SNELL M2010 and DOT approved. As you can see by the manufacture date on the round sticker, our sale RS-1 Emblems are not old stock. We have yet to see one with a build date before April of 2013. A close-up of the liner shows the combination of microfiber and airy 3D-mesh that surround your head. Another nice touch is the Magnefusion feature that holds the end of your chin strap in place without the need for a button.
  15. Bell RS-1 Emblem Helmet - $179.00 (Retails for $399.95) Available in Black/Hi-Vis Yellow - All sizes, XS through XXL More on the Bell RS-1 Helmet: Motorcycle helmets are meant to do one thing above all others, and that is to keep your head safe. This common goal doesn’t mean that choosing a helmet is easy, however. The shear number of options and features can make shopping for one a daunting task. Luckily there are helmets like the Bell RS-1 out there to help simplify things. The Bell RS-1 is a jack-of-all-trades that comes from boiling down many features from the top-of-the-line Bell Star into a mid-range helmet. Don’t let the mid-range designation fool you though, as it punches well above its weight (especially at this sale price!). The Bell RS-1 is a SNELL M2010 and DOT approved helmet that sits in a sweet spot, both performance and price-wise. The sleek, aggressively shaped shell is made from a Kevlar/Fiberglass composite that makes it both strong and lightweight. The RS-1’s shell cuts a profile that is similar to that of the Bell Star, which results in an excellent aerodynamic balance that keeps buffeting to a minimum. Air also flows through the helmet very well. The Velocity Flow Ventilation system is adjustable and quietly keeps your head cool. Internally, the Bell RS-1 is a comfortable place to be. The lining and cheek pads feel very plush on the skin, right out of the box. They also break in quickly. An Agion Antibacterial treatment helps keep things fresh, but the lining is fully removable and washable in case things get a bit too sweaty. The RS-1 comes with a clear NutraFog II anti-fog/anti-scratch shield, which is the same as the Star. The ClickRelease shield mechanism is also shared, making for shield changes that can be done in seconds. As of this post, there is no other helmet that can do everything that the Bell RS-1 is capable of for anywhere near our sale price of $179. It offers track-level performance and street-ready comfort without compromising much in either area. If you are interested in the Bell RS-1 Emblem Hi-Vis Yellow, you can give Nathan a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 809, or contact him through this forum. Is email more convenient? Feel free to send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! 16. Spidi XP5-S WRS Boots - Just $179 (Originally $299)! The Spidi XP5-S WRS Boots were a well priced boot to begin with, but they are an absolute steal at our current sale price of $179. Here’s a more detailed look at what they offer. Spidi designed the XP5-S WRS boots to provide track-ready protection while also keeping your feet comfortable and cool. They start with an upper that is made of Lorica, which is a very durable synthetic material similar to leather, but it is produced with a uniformity that cannot be found in nature. The upper is heavily perforated and works with the 3D-mesh flex panel on the instep to provide all the airflow needed keep your feet cool on hot days. The XP5-S WRS boots also have plenty of protective features should you find yourself making an unplanned exit from the saddle. Large, shock absorbing PU panels guard areas like the shin, ankle and heel, which all link together in order to reduce the likelihood of the type of extended motions that can cause injury to your joint. Replaceable sliders also bolster the lateral shin and toes. Underneath the foot, a grippy racing sole made of vulcanized rubber helps keep you confidently planted on the pegs. You can get a pair of Spidi XP5-S WRS Boots at this deeply discounted price by calling Nathan at 866.931.6644 ext. 809 or contacting him through this forum. Is email more convenient? Spidi XP5-S WRS Boots in Black/White - $179.00 (Originally $299) - Available in White/Black - Sizes 7.5 US through 12 US The shin is guarded by both a large TU panel and a TPU slider on the lateral side. Each toe features replaceable stainless steel slider and durable shift pad. You can also see the amount of perforation that is present throughout the upper. A shock absorbing heel cup fully encompasses the rear of the foot. This is linked to the ankle and shin guard in order to help reduce strain on the ankle joint in the event of a crash. The soles are made of grippy, vulcanized rubber that keep you confidently planted on the pegs.
  17. I think most would agree with that Mike. Also read that Paul has completed a majority of his scenes for the upcoming Fast 7 so it looks like that movie is still moving ahead.
  18. We had a F&F marathon at my house on Sunday after hearing the news. I personally like the later ones and the Fast 6 has a great twist ending that leads into Tokyo Drift. Tokyo Drift is technically after Fast 6 if watched in chronological order.
  19. We’ve decided to do things a bit differently this year. Instead of running these for just two days, we will be offering the following sale prices until Friday, December 6th at 5:00 pm EST (or while supplies last). Check out the offerings below and be sure to act fast if you see something you’re interested in since availability is limited!
  20. Things are going quick around here! The Spidi Track Windpro is now sold out in 42/52.
