Agv Corsa Valentino Rossi Winter Test Limited Edition Helmet
RidersDiscount replied to RidersDiscount's topic in Sponsors
The MotoGP season has come to a close, and that means that we won’t be seeing the awesome prototypes of the top class on track again until the first official winter test of 2014 at Sepang in early February. Last year, Rossi made his first official appearance aboard the Yamaha YZR-M1 at this test and debuted the graphic that is now available as the AGV Corsa Rossi Winter Test. Get yours from Riders Discount by calling Nathan at 866.931.6644 x 809, or by contacting him through this forum. We’re also ready for your emails, so feel free to send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM for a quick reply! -

I use a keyboard protector. I had to install one after they put the Panigale on display right next to my desk. I don't know how I get my work done anymore. -
Here’s another of the AGV K3’s available for the Valentino Rossi fans out there. See our first post in this thread for the complete list. The K3 Rossi Icon sports graphics that were used by Rossi when he won the Mugello Grand Prix aboard the legendary, 990 cc V5 powered Honda RC211V in 2002. The graphics were modeled after his father’s helmet design and feature an Italian flag motif. Additional details include his signature on the front left side, a number of small icons running around the base of the helmet that represent different aspects of Rossi’s life. The AGV K3 Rossi Icon helmet is shown here with an optional dark smoke shield.

I would say those people are rich, make a one hit wonder or YouTube sensation, and anyone can be rich. The people who sign their paychecks, those are the wealthy ones.

We are selling (2) of our 2013 Triumph Daytona 675R DSB racebikes. The bikes were built as Jake Zemke's primary and secondary bikes. The two bikes have a similar build spec with the primary bike having upgraded electronics and front suspension. The primary bike is offered for sale exactly as it rolled off the track at Laguna. (Of course we gave it a good cleaning and fresh fluids). The secondary bike is BRAND NEW and only has dyno time on the bike to break the engine in. The Orbiter was a standout in the Alpinestars line when it was released earlier this year, and for good reason. It introduced a host new ergonomic features that made it an excellent choice for those that are looking for a suit that remains comfortable for long periods of time. We previously showed you the Black/White/Red version of the Alpinestars Orbiter, but it is also available in the Black shown here. Let Nathan know if you’re interested in the Alpinestars Orbiter suit in either color by giving him a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 809. You can also feel free to send an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get right back to you.

Arai has added another new graphic to their Corsair-V line, and this latest iteration comes in the form of the Corsair-V Nakagami. Modeled after the helmet of Moto2 standout Takaaki Nakagami, this graphic doesn’t feature the numbers or mascots often found on racer-replica lids and focuses on the outstanding paint scheme instead. Just like the design, wearing an Arai helmet is always an outstanding experience, and the Corsair-V is at the top of the Arai food chain. The unbeatable protection, superior ventilation, exceptional comfort and ability to fully customize the fit with a variety of cheekpads and headliners make the Corsair-V one of the best helmets money can buy. If you are interested in the Arai Corsair-V Nakagami you can get more information by contacting Nathan at 866.931.6644 ext. 809. Is email more convenient? Designed to fit any suit, the Alpinestars Racing Rainsuit keeps your expensive leathers safe from the elements. This waterproof suit is constructed from thermoplastic polyurethane that is taped and sealed at the seams. Stretch inserts in the sleeves, sides, crotch, knees and backs of the legs mean that it doesn’t restrict your movement while you’re shifting position on the bike. While this may sound like standard fare for rain gear so far, the Alpinestars Racing Rainsuit does have a few features that put the “racing” in its name. Kneeslider cutouts, a pocket for the back up, and a pre-curved shape make it ready for race duty. The Alpinestars Racing Rain suit is a good option for any rider that wants to be ready for a wet track day, or wears aggressive sport gear on the street and need a rain suit that will fit. If you’re interested, just give Nathan a call at 866.931.6644 x 809 or contact him through this forum. Is email more convenient? Feel free to send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! The Alpinestars Racing Rainsuit is shown here over an Alpinestars Orbiter suit. Each leg features a cutout for the knee slider so that you can still get your knee down without worrying about burning through the waterproof material. Elastic bands surround the cutout to keep it in place. The Alpinestars Racing Rainsuit is a two-piece meaning that you can wear the top on its own. In order to keep the top from riding up at the back, Alpinestars sewed in a very lightweight, flexible piece of stretch material. This goes between the legs and and attaches to velcro patches on either side of the zipper at the front to keep everything comfortably in place. MSRP $179.95

Usually people put heavier bar end weights on the end. Do you have stock bars or aftermarket clip ons? -

As the old race saying goes, “rubbin’s racin’.” Unfortunately, the risks associated with a little on-track rubbing are naturally going to be a a lot greater on a bike than in a car. One possible outcome of a little contact in the wrong place is accidental pressure on the brake lever, which can cause a pretty nasty outcome. Luckily, this type of crash can be easily prevented with the addition of a Woodcraft Hand Guard. Woodcraft Hand Guards are made from a combination tough 6061-T6 aluminum at the mounting end, and a special plastic that is strong enough to absorb the necessary impact energy, but not so rigid that they splinter in a crash. They are designed to easily mount to any 7/8” handlebar and are adjustable to fit around levers of any size. The patent-pending Woodcraft design also features a 30-degree downward angle that keeps them from interfering with your hands. Woodcraft Hand Guards: Single Side - $109.99 Pair - $179.99 If you are interested in a Woodcraft Hand Guard, just give Nathan a call at 866.931.6644 x 809 and he’ll be happy to help. You can also feel free to contact him through this forum, or send an email to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! Woodcraft Hand Guards are adjustable and will work with levers of any size.

You're getting warmer. -
The FIM World Superbike Championship made a stop at Laguna Seca this year and Bell was ready for the occasion. They teamed up with the California-based designers at Airtrix to create a special edition of their Star Carbon helmet. The Bell Star Carbon SBK limited edition features a combination of US and California flag motifs, as well as logos from the Eni SIM Superbike World Championship. The design also has plenty of clearcoat between the logos and paint in order to show off the raw carbon shell underneath. Bell also includes a clear shield with an outline of Laguna Seca over the baseplate on each side. Riders Discount has a limited number of these special edition helmets available, so be sure to get in touch with Nathan if you are interested. You can reach him by phone at 866.931.6644 x 809 or contact him through this forum. Is email more convenient? Feel free to send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! The Bell Star Carbon SBK Laguna Seca Limited Edition Carbon fiber is a beautiful material, so why hide it? The design has plenty of clearcoated areas that show off the carbon fiber shell.

A new batch of colors has been released for the Ogio Rig 9800 and we will be updating this thread as they arrive. We have also edited the original post to show which of the previously showcased 9800 models are still available. Here's a look at the first of the newest releases, the Ogio Rig 9800 LE F11. -
The Alpinestars Roving backpack was first launched in Black/Red only, but that has changed. It is now available in Black/Green. Alpinestars dialed back the colorful accents on this version, opting for black mesh on the shoulder straps and back, unlike the red mesh of the original. If you are interested in either color, just give Nathan a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 809 and he can get one sent your way. If email is more convenient, feel free to send one to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM.

The best riders in the world take to the track in Valencia this weekend for the final round of the 2013 MotoGP season. Making this finale more interesting is the fact that it is the first time that the title will be decided in the last race of the season since 2006. This years world championship dual comes down to the 13-point gap between the rookie Marc Marquez and reigning champion Jorge Lorenzo. Will Lorenzo defend his crown, or will Marquez become the first rookie since the legendary Kenny Roberts to clinch a premier-class championship in his first year? Helmets shown are the Shoei X-12 Marquez (top) and the HJC RPHA-10 Lorenzo Graffiti (bottom).

When a bike goes down, the bar-end is one area that is almost always going to make contact with the asphalt, and the stock bar-ends don’t provide much in the way of crash protection. Installing a set of Woodcraft Bar-End sliders is an easy and affordable way to add some extra security to this vulnerable area. Woodcraft Bar-End Sliders use a durable puck that helps convert an impact into a slide, thereby reducing the amount of impact energy transmitted through the bars and lowering the chance that they will catch or grab the pavement. These recently redesigned sliders also feature a perpendicular mounting bolt that enters through the side of the puck instead of the end. This means that each puck has a larger contact patch due to the fact that the center isn’t drilled out for the bolt. It also means that pucks are easier to replace after a crash since the bolt doesn’t get buried under the molten plastic that would normally build up in the during a slide. Woodcraft Bar-End Sliders will fit bars with a 5/8” inner diameter and are available in three versions: Weighted (4.5 ounces) - $49.98 Unweighted (2 ounces) - $39.98 Unweighted w/ Hand Guard Mount (Hand Guard sold separately) - $49.98 You can order a set of Woodcraft Bar-End Sliders by giving Nathan a call at 866.931.6644 x 809, or by contacting him through this forum. Is email more convenient? Feel free to send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away! Woodcraft Bar-End Sliders - Unweighted on the right and Unweighted w/ Hand Guard Mount on the left. The pucks are replaceable and are secured to the base with a perpendicular mount bolt. It also means that pucks are easier to replace after a crash since the bolt doesn’t get buried under the molten plastic that would normally build up in the during a slide.
