Forcefield used to offer womens back protector, but unless you are using shoulder straps the womens and mens back protectors are not much different (normally just go with the smaller size/length). The chest protectors on the other hand are quite different.

The Stella line from Alpinestars is perfectly suited for the most demanding of female riders. Every product within the catalog has been carefully engineered to perfectly fit the female shape without compromise. Fitted with a range of CE –certified armor in all the right places, the suit is equally at home on the track or on the road. Alpinestars is known for being particularly picky about the leather used in their gear, which is why the Stella Kira is made entirely of carefully selected 1.3mm thick cowhide. This material is examined upon receipt at Alpinestars by technicians with a strict quality agenda. After that, experienced hands assemble the suit in a female-specific, ergonomically-correct fashion; arms and legs are pre-curved at the seams, and space is provided in all the right places to account for your body’s needs. It’s something you’ll feel every time you don this suit. Sewn into the elbows, shoulders, butt, and elbow areas is an extra layer of leather that’s stitched in a manner that’s proven to be highly resilient when it comes into contact with pavement at speed. And, should you take the time to look on the body-facing side of these areas, you’ll be impressed by the stitch work. It’s as beautiful as it is protective. To get to that, of course, you’ll need to remove the CE-certified armor that’ll help to minimize the bumps and bruises that come with a fall. To allow for ease of maneuvering, getting into and out of the suit, and also, keeping you cool – you’ll find an inner mesh liner that’s fully removable. This washable liner allows you to easily keep the suit fresh after a weekend of fun. It’s all part and parcel of Alpinestars’ goal of providing female riders with everything they need to ride in maximum comfort, and safety. Available in two color ways, you can order this suit along with expert sizing advice by giving TJ a call on 866.931.6644 ext 817. Or, just send a note to forum@ridersdiscount.com with ALPINESTARS STELLA KIRA LEATHER SUIT in the subject line and we’ll get back to you promptly.

Another rendition of Shoei’s top-of-the-line helmet; the Motegi 2 TC-1 Marquez Replica helmet is the same design as that worn by the World Champion when he clinched his fifth title at the Japanese circuit back in 2016. It’s a helmet for lucky cats, or cat lovers, or Marquez fans as the helmet features a prominent Maneki-neko cat on its aft side. The cat itself represent luck , which some of us might need more than others! And, like all Shoei helmets, the colors are so perfectly placed that it’s rather difficult to tell that they’re actually decals, not painted on. The craftsmanship that goes into each of these lids is exceptional. It’s almost as though the Japanese technicians that assemble these helmets do so in a loving way. And it starts when you get the box, a sturdy one at that – and open it to find all spare parts, instructions, Pinlock shield and the helmet itself, perfectly placed within. Then you hit the road for the first time and the care in which the helmet is packaged manifests itself in exceptional comfort and security. The chin vent is carefully engineered to deliver air straight to the cheeks via channels molded into the helmet’s multi-density EPS liner. Of course, this required that chin pads themselves a means of accommodating this new capacity, so now they’re carefully perforated to aid in this type of cooling. For anyone that spends time wide open in sixth gear, or any speed up to that range – you’ll appreciate the fact that Shoei contracted aerospace engineers to shape the helmet carefully for stability at speed. This is subtly obvious, not only in the helmet’s shape, but by the strakes you’ll find on the faceshield at its pivot points. And the easy-to-swap shield itself uses a UV-reflective material to eliminate strange sunburns around the eyes. This helmet has a lot going for it, and anyone that dons an X-14 will quickly appreciate the aforementioned features every time you go for a ride. Each helmet ships with extras: a lower air spoiler, Pinlock EVO visor cover, breathe guard, chin curtain and helmet back. For expert sizing guidance and lightning-fast shipping, call TJ on 866.931.6644 ext. 817, send a note to forum@ridersdiscount.com, or just shoot us a PM and we’ll get back to you right away.

Shoei’s top-of-the-line helmet is fittingly fitted atop the world’s top rider, Marc Marquez. Starting from within, each X-Fourteen helmet is fashioned around a highly-engineered, fully-removable comfort liner and cheek pads. These pieces effectively pull moisture off your head and keep you cool while you make way through the apex, or the toll booth. The (now-standard) emergency quick release system EQRS cheek pads allow for, not only a secure fit of the helmet, but also a faster, safer removal of the lid should the rider need careful attention after a crash. All of this is snuggled inside a dual-layer, multi-density EPS foam liner that absorbs impact energy in a fall, while effectively aiding in the delivery of cooling air straight to the scalp. For maximum safety, helmet sizing is critical, that’s why Shoei employs four different shell sizes in the X-Fourteen range to fit extra-small to XX-large heads. The shell itself, which uses six layers of hand-laid, varying materials, provides the right mix of rigidity and flexibility not typically seen in a fiberglass helmet, or that of a plastic shell. The result is a SNELL-approved helmet that almost certainly looks like it’s been developed in a wind tunnel (it was!). The shape is carefully engineered to provide effective rider ventilation without calling into question safety. Riders that spend a lot of time at the track will appreciate the minimal buffeting at speed in a helmet that doesn’t push the head around as much as lesser designs. And that brings us to the helmet’s design. Shoei continues to roll out the designs as much as Marquez and the staff at Dave Designs in Spain come up with the various new designs as the season rolls along. That brings us to the Concept Black TC-1 here – which is basically a negative of the helmet most commonly found on Marc’s head during the 2018 season. First introduced on 27 January 2018 ahead of MotoGP’s preseason testing, the helmet’s graphics are typical Shoei quality, the decals are perfectly straight, and the design is striking. Each helmet ships with extras: a lower air spoiler, Pinlock visor cover, breather guard, chin curtain and helmet back. MSRP $889.99 For expert sizing guidance and lightning-fast shipping, call TJ on 866.931.6644 ext. 817, send a note to forum@ridersdiscount.com, or just shoot us a PM and we’ll get back to you right away.

Alpinestars Nucleon series protectors represent the latest innovations from arguably one of the most experienced motorcycle gear companies around. Each component is carefully engineered to work with all Alpinestars equipment, from street jackets to full one-piece leather suits. If you’re a safety-minded rider, it would be hard to find better equipment to protect your body on the road or at the track. If you’re after a back protector with CE Level 2 protection, exceptional comfort that’s fixed in place around the waist only, the Alpinestars Nucleon KR-R back protector fits the bill. It’s designed using the same overall design as the Nucleon KR-3 and Nucleon KR-1 protectors, but without the shoulder straps, which makes it a good choice for someone that’s only wearing this under a leather suit or a well-fitted riding jacket. The KR-R’s outer shell (white portion in the photos), is a hard, yet flexible affair which imparts a significant degree of load dispersion to the soft core beneath. It’s this soft core that does most of the work, reducing energy transfer between the road you’ve just hit and your spine. And because the whole device shapes itself against the contours of your back thanks to your body’s heat, impact forces are projected over the largest possible area, which is a good thing! We fight over these helmets, not violently, but rather – in a “this is the best looking Arai this year … “ kind of way. Recently, Arai dropped three new colors, all using the Corsair X helmet in the form of the Bracket collection. Designed in collaboration with MK Art Productions out of Spain, there’s a color scheme for dark and moody in black frost, sleek in white frost, or loud in fluorescent yellow paint scheme. In terms of fit, finish, and comfort – it’s hard to argue with a Corsair X as it’s Arai’s top-of-the-line helmet. Ventilation, coming in and going out – is completely adjustable. The helmet’s interior is plush, and fully-removable and washable. Quick-release cheekpads are fitted as standard and you can even order different size cheekpads to fine-tune the helmet’s fit. Though, if you get in touch with TJ, he’ll have you on the right track for fitment in short order! It’s like clockwork, every year – at every Italian GP, Valentino trots out a new, one-off helmet design on Saturday morning. And that particular rendering is only worn for two days. Then we’re left to wait a few months before we’re able to get our hands on it! On 2 June 2018, the latest Mugello helmet made its debut in honor of the Italian Republic Day. As always, Aldo Drudi put his work right, and following the spirit of the Italian Republic, built a tricolore motif suitable for the day. It’s another helmet purposely aimed at the consummate helmet collector, or any Valentino fan. Of course, the helmet itself is AGV’s top-of-the-line Pista R Carbon Fiber model. A carbon fiber shell, which easily meets ECE and DOT safety regulations, is there under the paint. Check out the photos and then get in touch with TJ for the best sizing guidance in the business. Alpinestars’ GP Tech V2 suit is at the apex of today’s suit technology. Evolved from the original GP Tech suit, one that’s worn by top racers the world-over, sponsored and otherwise, you will not find a finer off-the-peg suit anywhere in the world. Refined with the help of Alpinestars athletes Marc Marquez, Maverick Vinales to name but two, when you slip one on for the first time, you’ll feel the quality of that workmanship right way. Every suit is made using a combination of premium cowhide and kangaroo leather. In addition, aramidic stretch panels are located in all of the right places letting you move about freely. This particular fabric can be found in a variety of high-demand applications: from aerospace to bullet-proof vests, making it more than suitable for use as a flexible panel on this suit. When you examine the shoulders, elbows, and knees on this suit, you’ll find purpose-engineered flexible plastic armor sewn into place. These pieces protect the most vulnerable, failure-prone areas of the suit and also, do double-duty as ventilators to help keep you cool on the track. Underneath these protectors, Alpinestars is sews-in an extra layer of leather, and reinforces the stitching to keep the suit together when the ride falls apart. Most importantly, for the rider that’s serious about maximum protection, these suits are compatible with the Tech-Air Race system. An integrated LED display on the forearm provides at-a-glance air bag operational status. And of course, of the internal latch points are perfectly situated for a secure Tech-Air fit while maximizing comfort. It’s all there, ready for use. If you’re not yet in possession of a Tech-Air system, the suit is perfectly fine to use without one. To order this suit along with expert sizing advice, give TJ a call on 866.931.6644 ext 817. For the consummate helmet collector, or any Valentino fan, AGV’s winter test helmets have always presented an opportunity to get a piece of the man himself on your head. Inspired by the bead murals made by the Huichol people of central Mexico, this lid is as festive as it’s protective. Adorning the helmet’s exterior is a lavish assortment of decals carefully arranged over compound curves. You may find yourself admiring the style for the beauty in its simple elegance. The helmet itself is none other than AGV’s top-of-the-line Pista R Carbon Fiber model. A glimpse past the decals reveals layers of expertly-laid of carbon fiber which easily meet ECE and DOT safety regulations. Under that shell is an EPS liner that’s formed with five layers of material, each with its own density formula to mitigate impact pressures. Protection is not a question here as this helmet was built to work in the most demanding motorcycle racing environment on earth; MotoGP. This single-mindedness comes to light when you notice that none of the vents have an open/close mechanism, but rather an all-or-nothing approach; you can remove the rubber vent cover, or keep it in place. Other than arranging which top front intakes to leave open/closed, there’s not much to it. After all, when was the last time you saw any racer fiddling with ventilation mid-race? On the aft side, and finally on a mass-produced helmet that’s available to the public – AGV’s Biplano aero spoiler. This, for those that are fast enough, will be appreciated when you’re in a full tuck, riding along at over a ton, it smooths out the bobble and it looks the business wherever you go. On this particular helmet, it’s a clear affair so as not to lose sight of the gorgeous spotted landscape below. And, you’ll find that it’s not molded into she outer shell itself, but instead affixed with break-away hardware so as not to snag on anything when you (regrettably) hit the ground. Another nice touch, that’s again, straight from the world of those that get paid to crash bikes, is an integrated hydration system. Straight out of the box you have a carefully routed pipe that, when affixed to the hydration system of your choice (some work required there!), you can have the drink of your choice, hands-free, delivered while you haul the mail down the straightway at your local race track. Which brings us to the inside liner – it’s a well-made affair (Italian furniture has always been nice), without a seam to touch your head. That is to say, all the stitching is positioned on the helmet-facing side of the liner, which, while seemingly a minor point, serves to improve the liner’s helmet moisture-wicking ability and also, eliminates the itchiness that sometimes can be annoying for anyone with less than a full head of hair. This is a top-quality, Italian Made helmet that’s worthy of the GOAT’s honor, get a piece of yours here before they’re gone! Available in seven interior sizes using four tailor-made exterior shell sizes, only 3,000 of this particular design was made. Get in touch with TJ for the best sizing guidance in the business. Send a note to forum@ridersdiscount.com, give TJ a call at 866-931-6644 ext 817 or just shoot us a PM and we’ll get right back to you.

If you value feel at the bars combined with excellent protection, put a set of Supertech Gloves on your hands. Developed hand-in-hand (pun intended) with MotoGP riders, every aspect of this design is built for the performance rider. It’s all built on top-grade kangaroo and cowhide leather components that are precisely cut and stitched together. The first time you examine these gloves, it’s worth noting the stitch work – the nuances thereof are purposeful and precise; not a single thread is wasted! For lack of a better term, everything is held into position efficiently. Affixed to the three of the larger finger tips on the posterior side and the palm, you’ll find sashes of Keprotech. This particular material almost has an abrasive feel to it, but it’s there to provide an additional layer of protection should you hit the ground. These areas are the ones most often to contact pavement when the unfortunate occurs. Though hopefully, you’ll never find out how effective they are. For long-term wear resistance, an extra layer of leather is sewn in where your hands spend most of their time in contact with the handlebars. Most noticeably, however, will be the third and fourth finger bridge. This piece of material not only adds another layer of protection for the top of the hands, but serves as an extra brace against breaks for the bones of the pinkies. Looking elsewhere, to provide additional protection, and a degree of ventilation, thermoplastic polyurethane inserts dot the knuckles, proximal phalanges of the index, middle and ring fingers, and an enclosure that wraps around the wrist to secure the glove in position. Combined, these elements provide a significant degree of abrasion resistance, and also – quite a bit of additional ventilation at the knuckles. The latter of which Alpinestars calls their Dynamic Friction Shield. You’ll call it air conditioning when you’re on the move! Inside, the glove is lined with a comfortable Kevlar layer between the top of the hand and completely around the thumb and pinkie finger. It’s all pre-curved for a comfortable fit that won’t bunch up as you head down the road. MotoGP-level protection is where it’s at with these gloves. No rider would scoff at these beauties. From the first time pull them out of the box – yes, they come in their own box – to the first ride, you’ll truly appreciate their worth. Nary a finer glove you will find! MSRP $399.95 Available in several colors, you can order these gloves and take advantage of expert sizing advice by giving TJ a call on 866.931.6644 ext 817. Or, just send a note to forum@ridersdiscount.com with ALPINESTARS SUPERTECH GLOVES in the subject line and we’ll get back to you right away.

Galfer Wave rotors are known throughout the world for the exceptional stopping power. And of course, they applied their know-how to slowing the big BMW as well. Each rotor is fabricated from laser-cut sections of Galfer-proprietary 420 grade stainless steel that is then double-disc, parallel ground for perfect flatness. These friction surfaces are suspended on 7075-T6 aluminum carriers via floating buttons. All of this is designed to eliminate any vibration when the anchors are applied at minor to major brake pressure – and everywhere between. The wave design provides even brake pad wear, much better than conventional round rotors while at the same time promoting cooler brake operation, which in turn, allows the rider to obtain greater braking efficiency with less effort at the lever. You get smooth, strong performance and good looks to boot. Carefully designed, engineered, and manufactured in Spain, these brake rotors will not disappoint even the most demanding racers. If you have any questions or would like to order please contact TJ on 866.931.6644, send a PM or email forum@ridersdiscount.com and we’ll get back to you right away!

No one here at RidersDiscount.com can remember a time when MotoGP's Dani Pedrosa wasn’t wearing an Arai helmet (since 2005, to be exact), and if you were to examine his first Arai helmet design, you’d see a lot of similarity between then and now. Most certainly, if you’ve never worn an Arai, the first time you put on, you’ll understand why Dani kept on with the brand without a break since then. The Samarai afield has been a staple of the Dani replica helmet for quite some time. On the Dani 2, you find him on the side pods. On the back, the familiar caricature is fully visible under the requisite DOT sticker. The blue star motif on the sides has been around since the first Arai Dani Pedrosa replica helmet from 2004.
