TPU sliders on the knuckles add that extra touch of protection if you end up sliding the top of your hand. Spidi uses Clarino (synthetic leather-like material) for the palm. Also note the extra sheepskin across the top of the palm and at the base of the thumb. Also note Spidi's Warrior armor to protect the outside of the hand. We really like the placement of the Warrior armor here. Compared with other manufacturers that use a hard slider, the Warrior armor flexes and moves with the hand better. It's hardly noticeable when you're wearing the glove. This has a European cut and is sized as such. If you typically wear a Euro brand such as Alpinestars, then order your normal size. Carbone Lorraine is one of the more popular brands on the market today used by anyone and everyone from top level racers to your everyday street rider. Carbone Lorraine has basically 3-4 different compounds available for regular street bikes. Your top level pad used for heavy track duty and racing is the C60 pad. Next would be the XBK5 which is perfect for the canyon riders and intermediate level track riders. Last up, if you're just looking for OE replacement pads, Carbone Lorraine offers the A3+ pads. Rear pads are also available in the RX3 model. The C60 and XBK5 track level pads have a very similar braking characteristic for lighter riding, but the difference comes when you really are pushing the edge of your braking capabilities. The C60 shines through providing consistent performance and feedback maintaining a higher friction point than the XBK5. However, the XBK5 does provide a slightly higher initial bite if that's a braking characteristic you prefer. A Power Commander allows for the ability to adjust and control fuel delivery to the combustion chamber. The system plugs in to the factory harness between the ECU and injectors modifying the fuel signal according to the parameters set. A PCV tuned by a competent dyno operator can result in additional power and improved throttle response, even on a stock motorcycle. If you do not have a dyno near you, there are maps available online to download or ask about adding an auto-tune module to your order. The kit comes with the Power Commander V, installation disk, USB cable, stickers, O2 optimizer (if required), and velcro (not pictured). On the sides of the module are various ports. On the left is the USB port to connect the PCV to your computer. In the front left are two expansion ports to connect optional accessories such as an auto-tune module or LCD unit. On the opposite side of the harness are accessory inputs where you can tap into various wiring to add additional setup parameters such as speed, engine temp, boost, etc. You can also add a map switch and DynoJet quickshifter here. The wiring harness is solid with mesh cable sleeve and heat shrink wrapping. On the other end of the harness are your connections (pictured here for the Triumph 675R). It's no secret that most of us who ride the Honda Grom are not in the recommended weight range for the factory suspension resulting in a harsh ride where we are constantly bottoming out the stock forks.
