2013 May, we will do a mini epic run jerry dont worry.
-
Niceeee, They might just goggle " what does big redest button inside endevour do" rather than read the manualcyclopedia
-
hope you get the leave to make the semi epic ride trip we planned next year. and thx a lot for the video jerry, that reminded me of the soft bags i got, Its used only once and its yours as i now have hard bags.
-
You really need to show me those route you pmed me before either of us leave. You always helped me with route tips. At least a one day ride, i am hoping for a good day in may. Got to meet lot of new peeps both times, next year hopefully the expected number of above 75 show up thx jch i might PM you for more info great riding with you, you remind me just how i started last year. Eager to ride more and learn more, u gonna be an awesome rider by next season. i dont want to leave very nice riding and great company to ride with

i will never forget that, my first group ride ever, hardly 500 miles on the bike and every one shows up and asks me to lead lol But it was a big lesson learned with just scraps on the fairing. I now blame UP for that too even if he wasnt there We should get out and ride again, was awesome ride we had the last one. As soon as the last snow melts i will start riding i wish to at least ride once of twice every year, or make a gap trip happen at least once. YES, ride the street at least once. We did ride a lot of miles that day even if we just rode one day. next year we repeat.

Nephrology in wayne, @Flounder: matching is like a draft for football, we interview with different university and finally we and them both make a rank order for our preference, and its kind of one scheme for most of the nation together. And if we are lucky we get selected to the program we ranked. this gives every one a fair enuf chance i guess.

next year we shud ride again, but with better tires @ hamburger hill confidence boosting comparisons definitely, if not for dream ride we will meet up for at least one another ride, nice meeting you and also ....want to see the 300 in action and next time we meet in an airport hope we dont have to text each other to make sure its the right person. ( we met in Charlotte airport and i literally stood right in front of him for 10 mins and we didnt recognize each other, then i texted him asking are u sitting gate 3 etc etc ) Yep we should, and prolly it will be two of us again going for the route scout trip again.

i was looking up tracks as another option, grattan close to detroit? like 2.5 hours i guess might turn to that if no good twisty rides met you in iron pony, didnt have camera with me since they threw me out with it lol when we goona go for a ride in ohio with your new amazing awesome beautiful 675R,
-
hehe i liked youngstown, small town. Pretty calm and quite if you avoid certain areas. am not much of a social outgoing type, so makes no difference for me i guess. safety is gonna be one big concern in detroit. when i went for interview there, they said not to park outside the campus and not to talk to strangers on the street. lol felt like kindergarten all over again
-
hahaha somebody suggested getting a tank hopefully i can get a trailer or something and make a trip once in a while down south to ride. Detroit has lot of good tourist rides but no fun twsity ones like ohio. I think ohio can only be beat by cali and NC in terms of riding, prolly thats why we have second largest motorcycle population in the states.
-
thx Mj, still got to meet you and ride with lots of folks from C bus side. have to thank you for the VFR choice, and always enjoyed our neo rides. Hopefully one more big ass dream ride in 2013, and unlike the last two, plan in good weather hehehe
-
So the match result came out today, and looks like i will end up in wayne state Detroit. Will be moving by june 2013. I am happy on one side that i got into higher studies , but on the other side, very depressed that there will be no more twisty riding for me from next July onwards. will miss all the friends in OR and the beautiful Ohio roads. My one goal was to ride as much miles as possible, to meet and ride with as many ORians as possible. Met a lot of awesome folks and still have to meet a lot of the regular active peeps. wish i could have made it to the gap trip where most of the folks show up. Anyways, next year before july will try to ride as much as possible even if it means riding without 48hour sleep lol Hope to meet the rest of you soon, and put on at least another 7-10k with my riding best friends before i leave, and hopefully i can finish my "secret" dream OR video before that.

Hey watch the video, u have looong way to go before u touch the knee, plus throw the head and body to the side more than just the butt and knee I guess, I know we all (other than exp riders) kinda do a contorted body position, in our head we think we doing it right, but the best view is from cam chasing behind and we see our heads still in the center line. When ever I think about it I tend to correct it, need to make it a habit. Plus we don't need extreme body pos on the streets. That's what I like about Alzheimer's riding, very smooth with minimal jumping around. http://youtu.be/KPSFwoy-r4A

you should have just left for home when UP showed up
-
Dang, sorry to hear this. Good thing is you rode home and prolly will ride again. Now you have good winter project.

unfortunately what you said is true , but thats the problem about visiting the populated areas, the two you mentioned is like the most populated, congested cities in india which is not a place to have vacation. soooo many other places to be at. But honestly agree 100% with you, not suited for every one i guess.
-
Just came across this video while surfing youtube, and thought might as well post it here. Hopefully at least one person gets influenced. My only suggestion to fellow OR, visit india at least once while you guys are young and having a strong stomach . The experience is so vivid and different that this will feel like visit 30+ countries in a week. Every 300+ miles takes you to different states with different terrain, culture food etc. Need to be fairly healthy and active to enjoy it all. Snow capped mountain, dessert, rain forest, backwater lagoons, and even bustling city life. Best part is all this you can do with the least amount of money. Other than airfare every thing else is cheap if you research well before hand. Get this, with 2$ you can eat at good places 3 times a day. Rent a royal enfeild and ride around even. Every part of india someone knows english, so no worries. thats all i have to say. The video is based on the experience of woman traveling in india http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5GU9odcbfo
