Planning on hitting some roads close by this weekend if it doesnt rain. Gonna be chilly, hence gonna ride towards noon and for short while as it allows some time for roads to warm up. May not be able to ride for long while due to the same reason. Been heading south all the while, so this time will stick to the good stuff close by. Will plan further details like time, location, route, pace etc based on interested riders.

but i say every new riders has to start some where, and for me personally riding with much better riders all the time helped to improve a lot. A group needs newer riders joining its rank to sustain or else it gets withered away

i am jacks raging bile duct - my riding life is ending one minute at a time on serious note, when i say i need more saddle time before riding with them guys, its just to get more comfortable and competent thats all, as of now lot of psychological barriers to overcome like broken pavements, descending steep left hand turns etc

there is a faint possibility i might end up in NC as well, but like you said it seems i will end up in the "cleveland area of NC" with all flat roads and no twisties, Eastern NC, from where i will have to ride at least 3-4 hours to get to good stuff all info i got from the first forum you posted. I ended up there through google search.

true right now when i wear the helmet it looks like a grape on match stick it feels so heavy that after every ride necks very sore, that list i was trying to go thru it one by one with youtube reviews etc hopefully will see what comes thru

i was looking forward to one with sun shield as well, tired of carrying two and swapping it up heard about these from these in other forum, http://akumahelmets.com/2012/index.php/helmets they say the shield has transitions property

one of the heaviest and economical one out there Scorpion 400 so i guess any thing will be a step up
