Wow so many bikes, if only they were wearing gear, it might be easy to get more random riders, but to get together riders whom we personally know is so hard

I know many of the riders dont like to just roam around the city, but i never ever rode through a big city and just decided to give it a shot, me and my wifey just set out one evening and shot some footages and i just cut it and put it together with a music prolly many would hate. Still good times. balaclava, additional layer and winter gloves and i am kind of okay with the below 50.... and as soon as its 10 o clock its gonna be 65+ (if no freaking rain ),

how hard is it to install heated gloves? My hands easily frozen over with even minor dip in temp, hence the most expensive item among my gear is held freezer glove, seems to work quite okay compared to other winter gloves i have, but then again reduced sensation is there.

I think that will work out best, let them jump in to the group they want on the day of the ride, just that every one has to arrive at least 30 mins prior to ride so we dont run late, Now the question is when will we ride together once again try to make it bad, And lastly but not the least, hope no freaking rain ruins every thing, I guess like hail said We will have to make secondary plans later if this gets screwed some how. For now lets hope for the best. Finding a day was the hardest decision so far.

Thats why i never put forward any rules and regulation coz most of the group is from here itself and all of them know what to do. Heck i even changed the wording rules to request since some one pointed it out. Just trying to suit the ride to majority consensus, thats why put up the survey and all even tho it was a ridiculous scout girl move. We are almost set on most things, date, time, people, route, leads, etc etc and just need to figure out comfortable group division and voila we are ready to roll. only question is do we divide now to make it easier or let it happen on the day of ride?

true, i am a rider with no experience, thats why i always asked every one for input and just organized the collective thoughts and decision on opening post, and i am really looking forward to some seniors to take charge during the day of the ride ..senior riders who every one respected and wouldnt mind getting the advice from etc. i rode with hail a few miles, smooth operator, i think he will be a good lead for the med to slow group. If some one wants little more sportier they can join the fast group at next gas station i guess.

i wish there was at least one rider with a gps and one rider with gopro on every group lost you shud come, thats what the survey says

seriously, just let the riders choose there group and then balancing out the rest, I was thinking may be let them ride with the riders they been riding with before and feel comfortable with, for example most of them with will be coming in as a group from a peripheral meet up, may be allow that same groups plus some others to mingle and then ride down? just announce the lead and sweep for each group? for example, Tpoppa and Inyaaz will be leads for the fast groups, and Hailwood volunteered to lead the med to slow group. Keep it like that and then ask the others to join up respectively, then move up or down group as needed? UP was recommending getting very experienced riders to play sweeper, like those who would be able to catch up with the lead from all the way back if needed for emergency. any more takers?

any body have any idea how to divide groups comfortably and easily?

many riders seem to be having the same opinion, I also didnt want to delegate people to this group kinda thing, thats why had a survey to se what people liked, but in the survey almost all of them said medium pace, So that was impossible to divide. Then the only option was to randomly assign like i did now, or else like hail said, there will be lot of confusion on that day when we start to divide up. May be we shud just let every one decide which group they wanna ride again? And mike, I put 10 each in each group just in case couple doesnt show up we have 8 each.
