The truth is I was trying to save a little girl from a Giant polka dotted panda, while I was trying to do this his steel claws scratched my bike that's all, honest neo has lot of pandas
Some gossip mongers say I kept to the out side of the lane to allow mags to pass through and then head to a left ward curve like this looking at the rear view mirror, pace was fast, space was little and got squeezed into the guard rail
I was pretty excitedabout the ride and didn't know how every one pace was I thought I was stalling the giant rock blasting red bike. It was a lame mistake I could have easily avoided
The Ride was peculiar that we had world representation, america, Europe , middle east, Asia including India only missing was Africa and south america
-
haha
any one know any good place to get rear view mirrors
well I'm glad I didn't grace you guys with my presence because my regulator died 2/3 through our ridedayum, it all happens

Yep, it cleared up as we rolled on
Now I know what every one expects from a group ride, some nice roads to roll, return route can be anything, preferably nice roads again, no cops what so ever ( except David of course ) and a local flavor to cool off the engines and fill up gas for rider and bike.
Will put up some thing like that next time, this time thou somebody else scout it and lead plz:) don't put me on the spot. )
This route was pretty bad ass right, I felt the curves were pretty technical how about u guys, then again I never rode much here.
-

Hmm, I don't think I've ridden that part of the state before...
Well this is a nice day to give it a try
And my phone started working again
-
good good the more the merrier, meet u at sheetz in canfeild,
my phone just died on me, prolly u can call mike, here is his number 330-608-5911 . And mike i was unable to contact ur cousin here today morning because of the stupid phone... just pm me any thing here if emergent till 2pm. After that i prolly borrow one cell or something before i come for the ride.
Rt 9 looks pretty good, not as many curves as the 164 it seems, may be we can ride another day ride entirely on those routes i guess.
-
So today we are leaving for a ride down Route 164,
We are meeting at Sheetz by 224 in Canfeild and Start at 3:30
Any one in and around Akron can meet at circle k on grahmn and bath rd. in cuyahoga falls at 2pm then roll down.
Two palns to choose from depending upon how the ride is like,
1)first we will roll down 164 through lisbon, amsterdam till Leesville and then track back same route if route was good enough for a second. On the way back stop at Lisbon famous steel dinner for a national award winning burger if you feel like it
2)We will roll down 164 till amsterdam take 43 then 152 and via route 7 head back to canfeild. Obviously longer and mixed, we can do this if 164 was disappointing
Personally i feel plan 1 is better coz i loved the 164, then again its no deals gap but still much much better than normal routes
Anybody familiar with this route and joining us can lead the ride for us. or else mike will i guess.
Pace will be moderate as there are quite a few 15mph curves.
Weather seems to be awesome except for the clouds, high of 77 with sun mostly
Wish i had a gopro
Join up guys, check the other thread for more details on who all coming etc http://www.ohioriders.net/showthread.php?t=78777
-
i will make a final new quick thread as a last minute reminder
-
Bad the route isn't that killer, just smooth rolling ones
-
Mike wanna come over to canfeild, if the distance is more or less same? Coz from the start of 164 itself looks good
-
Yep, the ride looks worth it, am currently on route 43 ... Will post more details later
-
Not me mike bad night , need my sleep once get out of here by afternoon
-
I hope pace is "moderate" if what I heard is true there are "15 mph" curves in this route and people said to keep it safe and smooth and not to go in for the "kill the curve" if not used to the road. Come along bad the more the Better
Mike the chance of me coming down on Friday is minimal considering I already had a bad night now plus if it's going to be busy tonight, I be no condition to ride on Friday. Will let u know by Friday morning.
-
couldnt go on a scout trip as planned today, so the only day left to do that is friday, if i get some sort of rest tomorrow i will do that on friday evening, hey mike are u riding down friday as well?
Saturday looks like dry warm day, we can find a good spot from google map to meet up in lisbon as i think the subway u mentioned doesnt have a parking space up front. Final concrete time and spot we can post by friday evening if we do the scout trip thingy on friday
As of now i believe, mike, david, gsxr-red, hailwood and me plus some possible riders from youngstown area are there. Looks like a good number if more the merrier
From the looks i think only hailwood rode the route before among us, may be he can lead or is some one else interested?
-
-
David look out for a white bims1000 with carbon garnish, he and his friends usually roll around Cleveland
Hail, we can either use 213 which is twisty or 7 which is more scenic with water front ride, depends on what others choose.
Time: Saturday around 3 15pm kick stand from lisbon. meeting spot a place in Lisbon, Ravenna or columbiana based on where u guys heading here,
-
I use train a dr. in her fellowship.... you should just rest up for saturday but it'll be cool to meet you. I'll try to get my cousin out too!
I texted him already and he seems to be really interested, he might bring along few riders as well, looks like we have a good group coming along
-
Hey lammiepie615 is ur name Ib by any chance? coz i met a guy from around there with a bimS1000
-
i will get in touch with the group here and prolly some of them might ride as well, will be nice. If ur trying this out friday i might also come by depending how awake i am i will be coming out of 36 hr straight work
-
how about this route, if we start after 3 we can finish this off under 2 hours and be back by 6 way before sundown and evening showers i hope
then again i havent tried the route myself so no idea about how the road conditions are , looks twistiful enough
Some of you guys can meet up in ravenna and head down here together
-
If it's this Friday/ Saturday after 2 pm I am game
How about this route, heard it was real twisty and technical. We can meet up in columbiana then head down 164 through Lisbon, monroeville - Amsterdam - perrysville
Intact I am off tomorrow and was gonna give it a shot,
... a ride on tuesday 6/28/11? during the day.
