  1. Love ya honey! http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x123/wannarace928/show_wss_img.jpg
  2. I was able to trace my family history back quite a ways. (1500's on my mothers fathers side, 1700's on my father's side) One thing that really helped me was buying some family history software and starting with what I knew. I was able to find a lot from reading obituaries, searching news paper archives, and going to some of the area's my family had lived in. What started for me as a weekend project because I was bored, ended up being months of research on each part of my family. Found some really cool stuff though. I have a lot of famous people in my family history (Lon Chaney, Georgia O'Keeffe, Bill Clinton to name a few). Ended up having a whole trunk full of information on my family. Sometimes you can even find forums for certain last names and find other people you are related to that are doing the same thing and fill in some of the gaps.
  3. Was it a younger guy with brown hair? I had a Mazda pull up to me on Broad St. little over a week ago when Mandii and I where going to the store and completely blew him away. He asked if I went to trails (had numbers on my car from Marion). He complained and said "it wasn't fair".. blah blah blah, after I beat him. lol quite funny.
  4. My unbiased opinion... #2 Fast, stylish, comfortable. My biased opinion #3. <3 Porsche.
  5. Looking for the fuel injector assembly for a 90-94 Suzuki Sidekick/Geo Tracker. Also looking for the soft top.

    CR sucks

I have a decent amount of free time, pm me some ideas and maybe we can make some events that are more fun happen.

If all of the meets are so boring, then help set up meets that are more enjoyable. Pretty sure you are allowed to post in the meetings & events section.
  10. Only when you have awesome friends that do great work on your car.
  11. I should spank him for ninja changing my name too.
  12. I know something you can be constructive doing. http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e241/uggen/naughtysmiley.gif
  13. I had a Porsche 928, which I sold recently. First car I did much racing with. Need to change my screen name soon though since I dont have the car anymore. Just have no idea what to change it to.
  14. Congrats! You will be seeing my car again in the near future once it gets new heads and tuned.
  15. I have a whole list of nasty comments I feel like saying in response to this.... but i'm going to refrain because i'm nice and instead just use this smiley..... :gtfo:
  16. More like because you where too lazy to have it done before disowning the car.
  17. I really doubt my car will be to the point of maxing out the MAF for a long while. I either want to keep the car N/A and try for 500hp, or end up putting a turbo on in a couple years. Anyone know the limitations of the MAF for these cars? How much power can the car make before it starts to lean the car out?
  18. Probably about as well as my husband and I debating the subject. I was hoping for some more in-depth advice, facts, data, something as to why its good to put a MAF back on it over SD, rather than "Just because it is". I have the mind set of "If its not broke, dont fix it." since 4 out of 7 of my last cars had MAF issues. (Subaru, Nissan)
  19. My car (98 formula) is currently a speed-density car. For the last year I have had zero problems with it being a SD car. We are about to do lifters/heads on it and it is going to need retuned. So the question is, should it go back to a MAF or stay SD? From past cars I have had, I have always had problems with MAF sensors so kind of like the idea it doesnt have to use one. My husband however says it will run better with a MAF. After doing a bunch of research on the subject it seems both systems have advantages/disadvantages and from what I understand a SD car can run as good if not better than a car with a MAF if the tuner is experianced enough and comfortable enough tuning. So someone give me a list of pro's/con's and convince me to put the MAF back on the car. Or give me your opinion as to why it should stay SD.
  20. Yeah, we met briefly a couple times when I was riding around with Anthony on the golf cart. Track days are always a little crazy, but fun! That was just a crappy chain of events, one thing knocked everything out. Gotta give the car some credit. It runs more times down the track during one track day than your car runs all year and still manages to handle being a DD with 13k+ miles a year on it.
  21. If the car liked you, or if you could drive a stick like I can, you wouldnt say that. :bangbang: Welcome! I usually run my car down the track 20-30+ times per track day, find me next track day and I will let you ride with me.
  22. That's because the car likes you Rob. It always wants to visit. It shifts fine for me too. Car is just picky on the way it is put into gear. Anthony has always had an issue with getting it into 3ed and 5th always grinds for him, and several other people have had the same issues. Car is possessed.
  23. After making about 20 passes in my car and hot lapping the crap out of it toward the end of the day, I finally got my times down and ran a 13.227 @ 110.63 as my best run of the day.
  24. I thought you where bringing those? :asshole: I will be holding a raffle for mine. Tickets are almost sold out. Better hurry.
  25. I will bring something. Let me know if anything specific is needed.
