  1. Look around on the net for a Sanus wall mount. You can probably find one on Ebay or some place cheaper than best buy. Quick Ebay search I found this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/Sanus-VMPLs-Wall-Mount-for-32-to-60-Flat-Screen_W0QQitemZ220235367568QQihZ012QQcategoryZ48656QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  2. I have a 19" Philips. Only problem with it is, the sound will once in a while go down to about half of the volume the tv is currently at. (If you slightly move it or hit it, it goes back to where the sound is suppose to be.) It started doing it after we moved, we think it has a loose wire. We bought an LCD to hang on the wall though so don't need it anymore. Its free if you want it.
  3. Maxima averages 26 SVX averages around 23
  4. I like roscoe village. They have a canal ride that is fun. But call to make sure everything is going to be open before going. http://www.roscoevillage.com/ I also like going to Berlin, Oh (and surrounding area). They have a lot of amish communities, and lots of cheese shops. If you go early enough you can watch them make swiss and different kinds of cheese at some of the shops. And I also like Malabar farm. They have tours and stuff. Plus its really close to Mohican state park. http://www.malabarfarm.org/ We have also spent a day driving around to see all of the indian mounds. Like the Serpent Mound. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serpent_Mound
  5. Owning 3 subaru's, I know for a fact the easy problems are never easy to find. Glad you got it fixed!
  6. If you turn the key on-off many times, does it attempt to start? My SVX has a similar problem but if I turn the key multiple times (sometimes 30+) it will eventually start. And I don't usually turn the key all the way back to off but just back and forth quickly.
  7. There are only a couple used bike shops left in Columbus that I know of. Best one is: http://www.onceriddenbikes.com/
  8. I bought one of the mongoose bikes with suspension and disc brakes from Target, I think it was right around $200-$250. They are fine for street use, but don't plan on actually taking it mountain biking. Go to a used bike shop and buy a NICE specialized, diamondback or schwinn. About the same price and it will actually hold up to a few tree roots.
  9. I just aquired another 92 Subaru SVX from a friend. It has a Legacy GT transmission installed with a shift kit. The car has 1st & 2ed gear, and if you use the "manual mode" to shift the car when putting it in 3ed it just revs the engine. But if you leave the car in drive and let the car shift 1st-2ed when it gets to 3ed it will rev the engine until roughly 4500rpms and then it acts like it "catches" and trys to drive in 3ed. Someone had adjusted the 3ed gear brake band due to some problem with the shift kit, I can't remember exactly what and right after they did that the previous owner started having some flaring issues going into 3ed then it just quit working altogether. I'm wondering if this is something that could possibly be fixed by attempting to adjust the 3ed gear brake band again by someone who knows how to do it? Or if the trans is probably shot now?
  10. lol, glad it fixed your problem.
  11. Try running a free scan at http://housecall.trendmicro.com
  12. I am finally ready to replace my crappy stock radio and speakers. So, I'm looking for a CD player, doesn't have to be anything special. Just has to work without problems. I'm also looking for some speakers 6 1/2 front and 6x9 rears.
  13. 00-80 or 00-100 depending on where/when/traffic. I kinda got turned off of street racing a couple years ago. A complete jackass in a box (I think its a honda or toyota SUV that looks like a box) tried to race me in my Dodge neon (I could think of a million better cars to race than a 03 neon SE). I was in the fast lane, he was in the slow lane, I passed him by about 3/4 car length (we where driving about 95-100)- there was a car in the slow lane that he was coming up on and instead of taking the defeat or getting behind me and then trying to pass me later, he desided to pass the car on the right side curb. He's lucky he didn't have an accident. I absolutely hate when people do crap like that.
  14. I went to the Advance on W. Broad St. I had a friend test the Alternator again today, and he said it was fine. I'll clean the connections and see if that does anything. I'm guessing if it is "bad" it is working intermittently or something. Thanks guys for the suggestions!
  15. I bought straw from the Obetz hardware store today. I think it was like either 3.50 or 3.75/bale.
  16. No, I don't have a voltmeter in the gauge cluster. Its a 92 Subaru SVX.
  17. I have been having a "Slow starting" issue with my car. It cranks normally, but takes a lot longer to start than it should. A shop that I had my oil changed at checked the Alternator and it showed it wasn't putting out anything. Then I took the car this morning to an Advance auto parts and had them check the battery/alternator and everything tested fine. Last night I was out driving around and after one of the slow starting episodes, the lights where dim and the clock wasn't illuminating until I got on the highway. Then everything was fine. Today the clock kept getting dim/bright while I was driving. I am not getting any check engine lights, battery lights or anything like that. I had the starter and fuel pump replaced aprx 2 months ago. The engine replaced/rebuilt about 9 months ago. Another note: sometimes when it is having the "slow start" issue, if I give it some gas, it seems to start better. Does it sound like the Alternator is going out? Or does it sound more like a fuel related/sensor related issue?
  18. Do they put new cars out throughout the day or are there certain days they put new cars out? I stopped there a long time ago but they didn't have anything I was looking for. I need some body parts for my truck. All the trucks they had when I was there where picked clean.
  19. I can give you a better answer as to what kind of lcd or other flat panel tv to buy if I know a little more info. Is it a bright room? And what kind of stuff will you be watching? Sports, movies, news, games? And do plan on hanging it on the wall?
  20. How big does it have to be? I have a small one I used to cut ceramic floor tile you can borrow.
