  1. When I get home tomorrow I'll try to take some pics of all of this stuff. It's all kind of crammed in the garage right now, but I'll do my best guys. Thanks for the interest!
  2. I have 5 unopened boxes of Lumber Liquidators St. James Collection Dream Home Laminate flooring in a bamboo finish. 12mm with 3 mm of foam padding attached. This works out to about 113.5 sq ft. I figure enough for a laundry room, entrance, mud room, small bedroom, etc. Easy to install floating flooring - installs as individual boards so it looks like hardwood. I also have the plastic undersheeting you need if you plan to install on concrete or below grade. See the link for more info: http://www.lumberliquidators.com/ll/c/Horizontal-Natural-Bamboo-Laminate-Dream-Home-St.-James-12HN-O/10024127 Their sale price: $215. My price: $175 OBO. Open to reasonable offers. May also end up with some left over trim and reducers for your installation.
  3. My project this summer was replacing about 70% of the flooring in my house and getting my son's room ready for the "big boy" years. As I completed this work, I have a ton of stuff that someone may be interested in. Complete Nursery: (1) Crib - can convert to toddler bed. Includes both sides (crib and toddler bed) and a drawer that was never used. (1) Dresser/Changing Table - three drawers on one side, cabinet with shelf on the other, changing table on top. (1) Rocking Chair/Ottoman Set - Trimmed in light blue. This entire set is a light wood (oak/pine/maple/fake). Our son's room was painted light blue and it looked great. ENTIRE SET PRICE: $300 OBO Also for sale is a dark wood (mahogany finish) end table missing the drawer. Still looks great and can be used for storage underneath. PRICE: $30 OBO I also have tow toy storage shelves. These shelves are dowel rod suspended between wood sides and include multiple red, yellow, blue, and green buckets of varying sizes to store toys, shoes, drugs, whatever. PRICE: $15 each, $25 for both OBO Lastly, I have some outdoor toys: Girl's beginner bike (fits 3 year old +/-). $25 OBO Child's mini-big wheel type bike. Converts from push behind to self propelled to pedal. $25 OBO Red Jeep Power Wheel. Seats one. Converted to aftermarket batteries, includes charger. $75 OBO All of this stuff is sitting in my garage in Columbus. Open to serious offers on any or all. For the nursery, I will split up if the offers are right, but would prefer to sell as a set.
  4. I got my Mercury for $800 and all it needed was tires and a little elbow grease. 3 years later, she still gets me from A to B.
  5. Hump day bump - you know you need this to cut up that tile flooring you're going to install.
  6. I think two is an excellent idea. It IS for sale. :-)
  7. Bought this for a project, used only several times. I don't see a future use for it. Listed on CL for $70, OR price $60. See info on Amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0049P1ZUG/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  8. Back to the initial question. When I worked at Nissan, we handled several cars that ended up being bought back. Two that come to mind had consistent issues, in both cases unidentifiable by even the factory engineer. In one case, at the request of the factory we just threw parts at a car hoping to fix it by accident. Both cases had numerous trips to the service department that were often for one week or more. That said, I had countless times where a car was in the service area for an extended period of time waiting on parts. Many times, if a part is found to be generally defective or can't live up to stresses, it will be redesigned. You order the part during the redesign period, you wait for the new part. And think of how long development can take. In the case of Nissan, customers would be provided alternate transportation. The reality of life is your bike is a toy, and the toy store isn't obligated to provide you a new toy while they fix your old one. Sucks, but it's true. If your motorcycle is your only form of transport, I'm sorry you made a poor decision along those lines. To qualify a car as a "lemon," at least in Ohio, it either needs to have multiple unsuccessful attempts to fix a single problem, or multiple problems that are outside the realm of what a normal person would consider "standard." In your case, one issue, regardless of how long it has been in the shop, is likely not going to qualify you for a lemon. But, by all means, hire a lawyer, pay him a ton of money, and you *might* get your bike bought back or replaced. By the time you're done with legal fees, you might have enough to buy a Razor scooter. You can do mean tricks on a Razor.
  9. One word. Ubuntu. Once you get it running, you'll be astounded how much faster it is. I loaded it on my netbook and it's faster than my Windows desktop now. Seriously considering running it on the big machine too.
  10. Paint and body work will probably be the single largest expense. If you can't tackle this yourself, I'd buy a completed project.
  11. The funny picture here is that of everyone's face when they read your note and realize they had a dude half undressed dancing in their minds...
  12. Back on topic, I have never polished a swingarm but I'm sure I could help. You see, I have what I figure is about 1200 hours of polishing experience. I figure an average of ten minutes a day for the twenty years since my 7th grade English teacher bent over and showed the entire class her fresh out of college double Ds. Ben, who did you have for English at PJHS?
  13. I was thinking that Katy Perry's right tit was the lucky one... monkeys are cool.
  14. I called him out on this Friday. The worst is when I take the time (guys, I'm lazy) to click on the damn thing and the picture is mediocre at best. iOS - because Steve Jobs was the Pied Piper of Seattle...
  15. I doubt silver will drop much lower than $18/oz. I've got a bit of silver, and bought a bit more as the price has fallen. I tend to hedge my bets with bullion coins to have the numismatic value as well. I also doubt it'll double in such a short time. Much of the inflated $30-35 price seen last year was due to unrest in the other less tangible markets that has since corrected. Industrial demand is what keeps it from dropping back to $10. There is still a fairly good secondary demand for silver - you can almost buy it from APMEX or another vendor and eBay it for a profit, because the uninformed are still grasping for it anywhere they can get it. That said, now is a good time to buy silver and gold for long term investment as a hedge against natural inflation. I feel that much of the bubble-related over-pricing is done with and the spot prices we see now are more of the "natural" pricing for these metals.
  16. Congrats man! Have you considered sandwich engineering? I hear the McDonald firm is hiring. Seriously though, I'd look in Tennessee - there's a ton of automotive down there.
  17. Just remember this, dads. Buy your daughter the fucking pony. Or someday she'll extort your house and evict you.
  18. No pics of the garage? Boo.
  19. Really good price. Tempting price.
