  1. When I was in Costa Rica (almost 10 years ago), Toyota and Nissan had about a 95% market share. They had more FJ40 Landcruisers there that I saw in real life than I've seen pictures of on the internet. I wish I could have imported one, but the Costa Rican automobile tax is 150% so it would have cost a fortune.
  2. My father in law has a Honda Ridgeline he uses to tow around his trailer for his lawn care service. It's held up very well - he's used it as such for three years now. It's pretty spacious inside, even for four people. And it's decent on gas. It'd be a good choice. The Outback wouldn't be a bad choice either. I just don't know how well a midsize SUV would hold up to towing, regardless of the ratings. A last thought - you can still get a Nissan Xterra as a six-speed with the 4.0l engine and a true ladder frame chassis. It would likely be the best choice if you plan on towing often, but your fuel economy would suffer.
  3. I just watched the video for Miley Cyrus's Party in the USA. I'm not sure when she started dressing like a slut and dancing around like a two-dollar whore, but I'm ok with it.
  4. Too big for my dainty wrist...
  5. How do you like the movement in the Seiko? Looking at an automatic of theirs.
  6. I've had a Timex for two years for work - wear it daily. It needs a new band and will need a battery soon. Having both done in January. I have another one that I wear at home, a little nicer design. If I had some money to spend ($1000+) I'd be the proud owner of a Tag Heuer Professional 1500 or 2000 series, granite face. I'm pretty picky about watches too - Tag's midsize case fits my dainty wrist pretty well.
  7. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_Epsilon_platform Man, you made me do research. I hate research. But I like to be right more than I hate research.
  8. Got Blu-ray and wood blinds from the in-laws; got a trip to Hocking Hills from my mom. Wife let me get a couple of coins for the collection. Kids got spoiled.
  9. I've always thought those Saabs looked mean. Nice car man. I think the chassis is actually from GM Europe - like their Opel/Peugeot division or something. In another life, these would have been tight competitors with the 3-series, but GM ran Saab into the ground. Too bad, too, since true Saabs were ahead of their time.
  10. Not really funny but makes my brain hurt...
