    I don't think I'd have done anything differently. If it's loud enough to wake you up, you at least have a noise complaint. If he's also beating the shit out of her, well that's for the cops to figure out when they address the noise complaint.

    This is a case where I'd have to side with the kid. Obviously an unprovoked attach here, and I hold police officers to a higher standard - he should have known better.
