  1. Sounds tempting. I'm a maybe right now.
  2. My buddy is looking for a set (front and rear) of oem wheels for his 06 Gsxr 600. Doesn't matter what color, just as long as they're in good shape and affordable. He's been looking on CL & eBay for a while but nothin really worth purchasing. If you have some or know a good place to look, let me know. Thanks!
  3. Crotchless...reminds me of Larry the Cable Guy: She said "You want some of this?" I said "Hell no! Look what it did to your undershorts!"
  4. I think 24.95 is a hell of a deal! I'll take two!
  5. I'll trade u my Gsxr for your CBR straight up!
  6. I'll be there. Might just go Sunday...not sure yet.
  7. I use premier cycle accessories out here in mentor. Not sure what the prices for wheels are, but I got a bunch of hardware (pegs, rear sets, bolts, etc.) on my street bike done and it was only like $30. Everything came out real nice.
  8. If you're still looking, I've got an Alpine IVA W205 double din for sale. The only downside is that you have to buy Alpine's external Blackbird navigation unit that plugs into the head unit behind the screen.
  9. I bought my track bike built. Pros: It's the same model as my street bike (2007 Suzuki GSXR600) so I was familiar with riding and working on it...and if I did have a question about anything, I just turn around and look at my street bike, lol. It came with a bunch of goodies already: Rear suspension upgrade, power commander, Quick Shifter, Michelin Power One's, brand new set of rain tires, transponder, track body work, professionally tuned (a year before), spare parts (axles, clip ons, etc.), tire warmers, 2 sets of stands and he gave me his old back protector. (All of these parts alone add up to more than I paid for the whole package) All non-needed parts are gone (wiring, turn signals, etc) All safety wiring was already done! Cost...$2,000! Cons: NONE! The bike is straight and runs perfect; even after the PO's high side and my fubar in the grass at Nelson's!
  10. Here's a 2nd gen sv with a few mods that u might be able to bargain with. I didn't see it posted on OR but seems like he's pretty familiar with the circuit. http://cleveland.craigslist.org/mcy/2655917502.html
  11. "Hi, welcome to Toys R Us. Can I help you?" "Yes, I'd like to buy every piece of hot wheels track you have in the store." "Ok...anything else?" "Yes. I'll also purchase your next 5 shipments. Just have them dropped off in my driveway. Thanks!"
  12. Nice write up. I just bought mine about a month ago & it took me a couple rides to start figuring all of this out. The front helmet mount is a neat idea. And I appreciate the tip on the vibration prevention. Hopefully I'll get another chance this season to try it out. I'm looking forward to your editing 101 write up.
  13. Wasn't sure where to post this, but if anyone is looking for a pop up for track days or whatever, Lowe's in Willoughby has Red 8x10's for $40. There are like 7 or 8 left. Earlier this week they were $80.
  14. Fri nght is cancelled but I'll still be there Saturday.
  15. I'm feelin like you, tyler...but I'm really itchin' to hit the track!
  16. Definite scam...I just got one of these from CL as well. I was inquiring on a Ford Explorer: "Hi, The vehicle is well maintained, no damages or scratches. You will inspect the vehicle before the payment will be made. You will also receive all necessary documents in order to finalize the purchase. I am selling the vehicle under market value because I need to pay the mortgage. I recently moved in Glasgow, MT with my new job and I have the vehicle here with me. The shipping and insurance are included in the price because I won a promotion at uShip (1 free shipping). Email me back if you're interested and have further questions. Thank you, " I knew it was a scam, but just to see how these people work, I replied, "Where is the vehicle? If it is in MT, how/when will I be able to see it?" "She" replied, "As I told you in my first email I am in Glasgow,MT with the vehicle.I would like to handle the sale using eBay for our own protection as they act as a neutral third party. eBay will keep the money until you inspect/drive the vehicle. This is how the eBay works: 1. I will contact eBay and give all the info about this deal. 2. They will email us the forms by email - about the buyer's protection policy, delivery, and payment. 3. You will send the payment to eBay and they will notify me to ship the vehicle to your location. The shipping will take 5 days. 4. After you will inspect/drive the vehicle and decide to keep it, eBay will forward me the funds and the deal is done. You have 5 days to test it from the day you receive it. If by any chance you won't be satisfied with it you will be fully refunded and I will have the shipping company come to pick it up and I have to pay the shipping back. If you wish to purchase it please provide me your full name, address so I can initiate the deal through eBay. Good faith has always been my top priority and my most valued business approach. Looking forward to hear from you!" I didn't reply back; and just out of curiosity, I went to ebay and found this: Auto Scams on Craigslist & other sites eBay's Vehicle Purchase Protection (VPP) covers only certain vehicle transactions that are completed ON eBay.com. If a Craigslist seller "promises" you eBay protection programs, walk away. It is fraudulent. Only cars bought and sold on eBayMotors.com can legitimately offer up to $50,000 in vehicle protection.
