  1. Not sure, could watch again to see. Me and the wife will be in Louisville KY on vacation. Maybe later that month. I definitely want to ride mid o and Nelson soon.
  2. I definitely had fun. I'm slow as shit tho lol. My biggest issue was getting comfortable with really hard braking, so I would sort of putt between turns in the short straights. A few more sessions and maybe I won't get passed by literally everyone. I reviewed my gopro footage and it's pretty bad. I get passed by a bike riding 2 up at one point. In my defense it was a professional racer taking people around the track for fun or to scare them shitless. Already looking at the n2 event schedule and will get back out at least one more time this season. Thanks again @TimTheAzn and @Jester for everything. Track truly is crack.
  3. So what's the venison equivalent of veal?
  4. Quit raining. Bolts worked after first drawing the shank into the wood with a flat washer and nut, then spinning the nut off and had room for flat and lock washer.
  5. TRS came today. Trailer is just a hair too short to have the arm trailing the axle (the easy way) so I have to set it up with the arm leading the axle. And I have to floor my trailer now because the angle irons aren't wide enough to take both bolts, hitched up the trailer and bought a 4x8 of plywood. Trailer is 4x7. Measured and marked for my cut, then the rain started. Got it cut and dropped in and started drilling for carriage bolts and it really started coming down. Also the bolts I bought aren't quite long enough. So I'm wet, need to go back to homeless despot and the job is far from finished. Time for a beer.
  6. I would have to permanently remove the lift gate the way its welded on there. Captive hinge pins. Thanks but have to pass
  7. Yeah that's a bit busy. I thought I would hate the display on my gsxs1000f but I really like it. Takes a little getting used to after a lifetime of spinning needles but it's easy to read, displays just the right info and fits the rest of the bike well.
  8. All my pistol mags are loaded with Winchester JHP or speer gold dot. Rifle mags have xm193 in them, which isnt af good as the 855 but last time I checked bad guys are still allergic to them. Again, anything could happen, hope it never does, but if shit hits the fan or society breaks down or spiders become sentient, I would rather be prepared.
  9. I think I have around 12 for AR, another 7 for 92fs, all loaded, stacked in the safe... ya never know...
  10. Ohio = east coast? 2 college degrees, zero 5th grade geography. This crayon-muncher would probably fit right in if he could manage to navigate the twisting and bewildering labyrinth that is our topic tree. Shame.
  11. Guy I work with has a 2016 with 3,500 miles he has rode twice this year.
  12. I'm in quality, I dont run a machine. If I did I would still have to source material as the company I work for keeps tabs on those kinds of things. Vintage bikes dont have hollow rear axles and thus cant be used with the trs anyway without fabricating something to clamp onto the swingarm, and then theres the possibility of the bike moving forward or back. Easier to use a chock and straps, or maybe whatever a canyon dancer is.
  13. The vintage Honda will not work with the TRS, wheel chock would be nice in addition to straps.
  14. Got trailer. Planning on TRS. Suggestions for front wheel chock anyone?
  15. They have 2 years to adjust. I foresee new marketing strategies aimed at younger riders and those weirdo ADV types. Main thing is the numbers. If they cant manufacture a mill capable of 100+ hp FROM FACTORY for the streetfighter, nobody is going to even look. Sport bike guys want something fast, fuck names....unless you're a pasta boy....
  16. I'd check out the streetfighter as well. I'll reserve judgement til I drag my nuts across one, but guessing it's basically an xb12 but slower. If they did anything to push the hp up towards triple digits I'd be amazed.
  17. 1984 magna 700 with 750 motor. It's all there, just needs put together. Tins need painted, seat needs recovered and tires are shot. Last year I replaced the wiring harness, air box, clutch master and slave, starter solenoid and a few other things. Rode it once for a block. Also have a set of brand new emgo chrome reverse megaphone mufflers for it, one will need some welding done on the bike before it fits tho. It's a $200 project bike, has clean title, comes with extra parts. Fuckin buy it, I dont have time to work on shit anymore with the new job.
  18. Really hope the district attorney reviews this and files charges. This dude should not walk.
  19. That looked like a bad shoot to me. His life was not in danger. He was assaulted, yes, but not to the degree that a deadly force response was even remotely justifiable.
  20. If you really want to step up to a 600, consider bikes like the fz06 or yzf600r. Great bikes built for the street rather than the track. Still have plenty of power but the controls are way more forgiving of abrupt inputs, generally better mileage and more comfortable. You can get an older fz06 for like $2k
  21. My car is a stick. I dont buy automatic transmissions if I can help it.
