    Oh I should add that it's becoming harder and harder to find upgrade cams for the bandit as you can only use 88-90 gsxr750 and 1100 cams or the 83-89 kat 1100.

    So I found a set of gsxf1100 cams on ebay for $175 shipped. They are a direct bolt in for the bandit 1200 and would give me more peak hp and torque at the expense of a little midrange power. It's an easy job, I can do it with the motor in the bike in about an hour tops. Just wondering if the gain is worth the money and figured I'd bounce it off a few people here before I go to the bandit forum and everyone just tells me to do it.

    Marriage is at its core a legal proceeding. An ordained minister is simply a notary for a marriage license. yes, most people attach religion to it, but it's a govt sponsored legal contract. It's unique in that there aren't any other legal contracts that are also religious ceremonies, but you don't need a religious ceremony to get married. So there's your separation. People choose to mix religion in with their marriage but it's not required.

    And what logic do you base that on barron? Gay marriage is defined as a union between 2 people of the same sex. The arguments I hear from people about "oh well then people can marry their dogs or 4 different people etc" are ignorant straw man arguments made by people who don't understand what equal rights are, or don't think they should be afforded to people who's lifestyle they don't approve of.

    Dude it will be cheaper to buy a ladder. Painting is one of the most grossly overpriced jobs out there, and also the easiest to do yourself. We put in new windows last spring and the trim outside needed repainting after. Got a quote from someone I knew for over a grand. To paint the trim around 16 windows...obscene.

    I'm not saying it's not a cool bike, but you have to find someone that wants THAT bike. That's the trouble with custom jobs. Hard to sell it to someone else when you built it for yourself. Glws tho.

    Ok I kinda want to sell the bandit now after a few youtube videos. Not sure how the stock cans sound but when the v tec kicks in with a set of devil or Leo vince pipes....Holy boner...but something tells me I'll miss the huge pile of torque low and midrange that the bandit has....

    A squid usually refers to riders that don't wear gear and do jackass shit like stunt on public streets or do a billion mph down 77. They also generally can't lean a bike through the twisties to save their lives.

    My instruments are from back when I was a machinist. I bought quality for life. I see your point tho, for someone who just needs something more refined than a tape measure for around the garage this is probably ok.

    I'll only buy starret or mitutoyo when it comes to precision measuring tools. Buy quality and you only have to buy it once. I have starret mics and indicators that my dad used as an apprentice that are still dead nuts.

    The 2 you can't cut can be removed with a hot metal rod of appropriate size. I'm sure someone makes replacements.
