  1. HTC makes garbage. I have the evo lte and I hate it. Before that I had the original evo and it sucked too. I also have an HTC tablet and its pretty clunky. I won't buy another one if their devices. Go for the s4.
  2. I would have calmly rolled my garden hose out and sprayed that bitch down. Simple. Legal. Effective.
  3. Old people need to be taken off the road. A vast majority of the accidents I've been involved in were caused by codgers who's dim wits, faded senses and reaction time that can be measured in geological terms should legally prevent them from getting behind the wheel. One old fuck had no insurance but had a card that said he was valid, along with an out of state license. Obliviously turned left into our car with his f150. We ended up having to turn it into our insurance and eat the deductable. If your family doesn't love you enough to drive you around, stay home and die.
  4. If he didn't have a license its a felony to carry at all and if you carry drunk with a license the penalty is even worse iirc.
  5. My fzr600 was mostly top end too, but it came up on the cams at around 6.5k. I didn't see the needle hardly drop below 7 on your video. I'd have to say I prefer the low end power of the big bore bikes, but I don't race so different application, different bike. Ever thought about popping a 600 mill in that aluminum frame? Should bolt right up and the 600's had steel frames so you'd have the advantage of less weight vs other 600's of that vintage.
  6. Once again the ride starts way too early for me.
  7. Damn, you really gotta run that sucker on boil to get power.
  8. Don't skimp on the insulation, don't buy cheap door openers, put a few ceiling fans in if you're going to go tall (helps push the heat down towards the floor) if you plan on doing any welding, cutting or meth cooking I highly suggest some ventilation fans to evacuate smoke. While you're plumbing your compressed air and running water and power out to the house, run a 1/2" line of compressed air back into the house, for small household projects in the basement. Take advantage of current security technology and wire the building with a central brain computer to operate surveillance cams, alarm systems, environmental controls, light timers etc. Tankless water heater to save space, maybe a natural gas generator with back feed to the house in the event of power outage. Draft beer....def need draft beer.
  9. The pi is cheap until you buy storage and an os. I like the mk808 series android computer sticks. More powerful processor, more ram, onboard storage, comes with software, easy to reflash a new Rom...the only disadvantage to the pi is I/O is limited to 2 usb ports and an hdmi out.
  10. Neat. What's the point? Is this geared towards evidence for if you get into an accident or do you just have way too much free time?
  11. Might be down if I can get my gear wittled down to what I can carry on my bike. The big stopper is needing a cooler for all the meat and beer.
  12. Sure, get the bike running and pull the fuel hose off the petcock. If gas comes out, its working. Will it rev on choke? You really need to go get some clear plastic hose, hook it to the bowl drains and bend it up against the carb, that will act as a sight glass for your bowl levels. If you think it might be the petcock, put it on prime, that lets fuel flow whether the motor is running or not. Its also quite possible that you just need a carb clean. Where in Ohio are you?
  13. On stainless I'd try toothpaste first. Its a micro abrasive. Not gel, paste. The white stuff. Failing that, flitz or mother's or some other polish, if that doesn't work, try 0000 steel wool.
  14. Been a fun month of hacking, wiring, bolting, testing and tuning and I finally got her about where I want her. Shot some pics after giving her the monthly bath. Bike was bone stock with a givi touring package on it when purchased. Since then I've put on flush mount front blinkers, integrated clear tail light with some smd strips on the rear peg hangers for added blinkerness. Puig rear hugger, chopped the fender, led license plate illumination bolts, yoshi pipe, k&n filter, airbox mod with stage 2 jet kit (really woke the bike up) some blue led accent lighting on the motor, remote button wired from garage door opener,...I think that's it. Ordered a pair elimination kit, some led turn signal mirrors and an HID headlight kit today, then she will be complete....till I go stage 3 on the motor...which reminds me, I need to order a 5° ignition advancer and some iridium spark plugs.....off to eBay I go!
  15. If you have the same carbs that I have on my 03 bandit 1200 then after you remove the top of the carb there is a little port outside the outline of the diaphragm. On mine if the motor side of the carb is noon and the filter side is six, they are at about 1:30. The only thing that holds the little o ring in is the lid and sometimes they will stick to the lid and then fall off later. Losing those o rings will shut a bike down. It could also be that you need a carb clean. Are the bowls filling up? Crack the drain screws and see if gas is for sure making it down to each carb, possible you have a flow issue.
  16. Correction grape, pauly shall be under the influence of thc.
  17. Check fuel lines, also-and this is critical- there's a little o-ring there when you take off the diaphragm cover. Its very small and easy to lose but extremely vital to the diaphragms working properly. Is the bike set up stock? Has someone given it the bro treatment (piped, jetted and pod filtered it)? Vacuum pet cock functioning correctly (if applicable)? Is the TPS hooked back up on the #4 carb? (if applicable)
  18. My redwings are made in USA and have glued on soles. I wear the model 2406. Well-suited to my work environment. I get everything from grease to skydrol (phosphate ester brake fluid, nasty stuff), acetone, mineral spirits, alcohol...never had a problem with anything rotting or falling apart. My last pair of 2406's lasted me like 6 or so years, and the soles wore out of them, the uppers are still good. Meant to get them resoled but never did. As far as comfort and durability they're the best boots I've ever worn and I will continue to wear them for the remainder of my career on the floor.
  19. Central air is currently working just fine. Definitely not putting you in the movie.
  20. I like how he says Jesus a billion times and is greeted with a burning bush after.
  21. Kid needs to pick better people to fist bump, like the guys in gear not dropping their bikes.
