I would guess mc is bad. If the reservoir is full and you havent opened it then it is unlikely any air got in. If there was air, pumping them up would give you brake feel temporarily. Maybe PO used wrong brake fluid and it damaged the seals...

The tubes coming out of your tank you have circled appear to be vents. Follow the rubber hoses, its likely they lead to a charcoal canister, if so, that's where they go. As far as your wires, you need to get the schematic and see what those wires are for, also your bike is supposed to pop a fuse before this kind of thing happens so check that you have the correct amperage fuses. My guess is either some wire rubbed against frame until it was metal on metal and shorted out, or some component like fuel pump malfunctioned and drew way too much power.

I've got a fieldsheer textile jacket I really like for up to 75-80℉. Beyond that my agvsport veloce mesh/perforated leather jacket feels like a t-shirt at speed. Icon field armor boots which have been crash tested and performed nicely. Shadow scorcher mesh/textile pants which I love and some sliders leather and Kevlar gloves which are absolute garbage as far as fit and finish. Tried a Joe rocket jacket, the sizing wasn't right. A* is kind of out of my price range at the moment.
